My wife and I are planning our first trip to Vegas this year, and your channel has been so helpful. I’ve just been watching almost every single video! Lol. Thank you.
Great info! I ate at Luxor and Wynn during the same Vegas trip last year and totally agree with your rankings. I was actually pretty shocked at how bad Luxor was, and I'm not very picky about buffets (I used to eat at the old $5 Sahara buffet many, many years ago). On the flip side, I was totally blown away by Wynn. Now I don't want to go anywhere else for a buffet!
I haven't tried out a ton of the buffets, but I have been to Vegas twice, and both times we have gone to the Wynn. It is 10000% worth it. LOVE that place.

At that price though? Imma 55 years old and can only eat 2 plates in one sitting, that equates to $40 per plate. I understand the experience, quality, and variety, but for $40 per plate, I just cannot afford that on my meager income. I'll try the cheapest of the buffets, LOL, such as Southpoint.
We went to Southpoint buffet on Sunday and it was good - excellent prime rib, seafood, sushi, fruit and cold salad bar and tasty desserts. Very clean, friendly, and well staffed.
Bacchanal was life changing for a buffet lover like me. It is now my gold standard that I don't think others can ever come close. I want to try Wynn, but I cannot NOT eat at Bacchanal.
Personal note on Wicked Spoon. Went there in March. Don't know if they were already taken over by MGM by then. We chose this over other buffet options because there was no stated "time limit" on their website or on the reservation. They absolutely did have a time limit however, and our server was hovering around our table waiting for the final minute to tick off. It was pretty unsettling, made even worse by the relatively lackluster size of the crab legs. It quite literally became a race against the clock for what ended up being not a lot of crab. So be warned. I see a lot of google references still saying they don't have a time limit, but they most definitely do. Or at least, they did in March.
Few people know that the sushi in nearly every buffet in town is made by the same people who operate the Osaka Japanese Bistro on Sahara. They have a massive complex next to the restaurant where they construct hundreds of thousands of rolls a week. Established in 1967, it was the first Japanese restaurant in Las Vegas. Osaka was honored by Japan’s largest weekly magazine, the Asahi Shukan, as one of the 50 best Japanese Restaurants in the world.
LOVED this list. South Point's crab legs are served window style so no need to crack open. The wait for Caesar's sucks, especially when you've made a reservation. We don't eat at Bellagio anymore because I swear it's food poisoning ground zero. We love The Buffet at Wynn too! So happy Palms introduced reservations for crab and lobster night.
Terrific informative review and wonderful to see the transformation of this channel into a very high-quality product… great job, and continued success, Mr. and Mrs. Ruby!! 👍🙏
I love buffets! Wynn is my current favorite but I'm really looking forward to trying out Southpoint next time I'm in Vegas. Wicked Spoon has gone so downhill that I wouldn't eat there again. Last year when I ate brunch there, most food was cold, many areas of the buffet were empty and they had no fruit and the most basic pastries. I've never seen a brunch buffet without fruit before. Two cold and sad looking pancakes were in a bowl and no one wanted them. When I went up for my 2nd plate 20 minutes or so later, those same 2 pancakes were still the only ones available.
I had a breakfast credit when I stayed at the Wynn recently, and I tried out the buffet for brunch and it was exceptional. The quality of everything was so good
It was a true pleasure meeting you by coincidence this past weekend at Evel Pie this past Sunday!! We planned our trip from all we learned from your videos. We were in Vegas for 4 days and thanks to you we saved a lot of money with your tips and even learned how to play slot machines, hotel rewards, etc. We played slots, had a great time and broke even. We played $400 which we had set aside as play money and expected to lose it all. We ended up with $442 at the end but enjoyed all the time playing (my wife and I took turns hitting the button), so fun! Best buffet I have ever eaten at --> The Wicked Spoon buffet!! Wow. Bumping into you and your hubby at the Evel Pie pizzeria was the icing on the cake!! What a mega coincidence! Thank you for all you do! --Charlie (a.k.a. "ChessNord")
As a local, Rampart is my favorite for brunch. I havent tried it for dinner, but i have always enioyed myself and felt like i got good value for money. Some of my other favorite local places are Via Brasil (they also do a great brunch) and Nalsso @ Sunset for KBBQ.
In the 1980's the Sunday brunch at Caesars was fabulous ~ fresh seafood with delicious shrimp, prime rib, yummy desserts and champagne soaked...people stumbling around by round three making new friends over the cheesecakes and strawberries...🍾🥂
I like MSS. I had brunch at Garden Court buffet last Labor Day. The food was fresh. I especially love the Hawaiian food. And regular breakfast food eggs bacon and sausage was good. If nothing else go for the architecture and decor. It’s beautiful.
The Bellagio buffet was the best in town when Steve Wynn owned the resort, MGM bean counters ruined it, im sure they'll do the same to the wicked spoon
It's too bad after Covid a lot of casinos didn't bring back the buffets. The Station Casinos had some of the best affordable buffets but unfortunately they no longer have them. We still go to Southpoint and Rampart as their buffets are very good and affordable. We no longer go to the strip buffets as they are either not good or too pricey. One of our favorite buffets if you have a car is in Mesquite at the Virgin River casino. Their dinner buffets are in the $20 range with Tuesday being our favorite which is steak night.
You need to revisit some of these. MGM Grand belongs at the bottom of the MGM buffets (ironically). Small selection, and the quality has been going downhill. And I have had some good experiences at Luxor buffet believe it or not. I think they heard enough people make fun of Luxor and put some effort into it. Lol
None of my friends are foodies, but I really enjoyed your review. Next visit, I'll have to Uber and break away to one of these locations. The seafood buffet really would be a treat.
We have been to Vegas a couple of times and will be returning here in a few weeks. Before we have gone in the past I would always watch all the videos to catch up on who has the best deal for lunch and breakfast or the best new restaurants or such. Everyone always recommends the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace and it is consistently ranked in the top two or three on every list out there. We went weather in 2022, specifically the week of thanksgiving. Surprisingly we were able just to walk right in there was no waiting list for lunch on the day we were there. It was almost $300 for my wife 7 year old child and myself. After eating our first plate my wife looked at me and said she felt like we were at a pretty Golden corral. I wholeheartedly concurred. The food was okay, but there was nothing that we ate that we would deem as special or significantly better than almost anywhere else we have tried. The Asian section was almost sad in comparison to the mid-range restaurants open in Chinatown or even some of the Korean places just off strip. The seafood was decent but nothing special. The only section that we thought was above the average restaurant that costs less than half the price was the desert table. My wife and daughter abandoned trying to eat off of the food side and just hit the desserts. Maybe because it's in Vegas and there's different standards, but even comparing the buffet at Caesars to mid-range places in Cincinnati, Columbus, Miami and Atlanta the buffet at Caesars fallsway short and costs twice the price. I know everybody has their opinion and that's mine.
Palms is my favorite, but just FYI, the brunch is now $43 per person. But, until the end of August, if you earn 500 points on your players card,, you will get 2 free brunch buffets that expire in a week. Also, remember that they offer crab legs, shrimp etc from opening hour.
My hubby and I tried the Palms and were not impressed. The only thing I really liked was the cornbread. The rest was just ok. It was fine cu it was cheap but if price went up then not worth it
As many times as I’ve been to Vegas. I have NEVER ate at any of the buffets.. I just never think about it until after. Definitely gonna try at least one buffet.. thank you for the video! ❤
Love Main Street for excellent food for price and love Wynn for fabulous food at higher end. Won a two for one at Cosmo many years ago and it was excellent. Thanks to you both for yet another marvelous video!❤
That's so wild....Bellagio used to be one of the best next to Wynn back in the day (over a decade & a half ago) used to be $35 and they had king crab & steak tartare....was my pick over Wynn actually. Sad they went downhill. 😢
Okay, Southpoint will be a priority on my next trip. I try to go to one buffet each time because you don’t know what you have until they are gone. Interestingly enough, your experience with cold food at Bellagio was my same experience at Wynn
Thank you for sharing. I watched to the end to make sure you had it right and you nailed it! The Buffet at the Wynn is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. Well worth it. I go every time I'm there. Soooo worth it.
I love the Palms casino buffet. Especially the truffle cheese hash browns! Outstanding! I also like the fact that they do not have ordinary sausages, I have had a few different kinds over a few months.
Great content, the Wynn buffet is truly one of the best! The selection is impressive, from seafood to delicious prime ribs, all beautifully presented. The ambiance is upscale and everything tastes just amazing. I’ll recommend Wynn for foodies and anyone wanting a bit of luxury in Vegas!
This was a great review, Ruby. Also agree about that warm skillet cookie at Westgate. And the desserts at Wicked Spoon. Hope they don’t get MGM-downsized.
14. Circus Circus 13. Luxor 12. Bellagio 11. Excalibur 10. MGM Grand 9. Westgate 8. Rampart in Sumerlin 7. M Resort (Henderson $100) 6. Main St. Station 5. Wicked Spoon 4. South Point 3. Ace Buffet at Palms 2. Bachanal at Caesars (time limit) 1. The Buffet at Wynn
At SouthPoint buffet, if you want to save the most get a free players card first from the players club as it gives a discount at the buffet. Then for dinner on Monday-Thursday arrive a little before 3:45pm and line is very short, prices change from lunch to dinner prices at 4pm. So you can get a prime rib dinner buffet for a lunch price. Also they close the buffet on Fridays after lunch ( maybe 2:30-3pm?) and people start lining up for the dinner seafood buffet 2 hours early, sometimes this line can be crazy long, and is usually at least very long.
Not sure if this would’ve qualified, but the Grand Luxe Cafe @ Venetian has a limited but good buffet. It’s $27.99. It’s a basic breakfast but I feel a great value and you walk out full. The food is good also.
I'm going to try that one out next time I'm in Vegas. I'm vegetarian and it looks to be perfect for me with lots of fruit and pastries and reasonably priced (i've watched youtube vids showing it!).
I miss the buffet at Fremont hotel. Felt like I was walking into 1984 lol. Completely agree with your take on Belagio, what a letdown that place was when I had it last year.
It’s not the same but I like the Fremont Food Hall. Nice that only Dunkin Donuts and Steak and Shake are well known chain restaurants. The rest are very unique and quite good for fast casual.
@samsampier7147 agreed. Huey Magoo's is the real stand out to me in the new food hall. I'm staying at Fremont in two weeks and I can't wait to eat there again lol.
I have a suggestion for a vlog, and it’s for personal reasons. What are your favorite restaurants for breakfast/brunch? I’ll be there in a few days and gotta have energy to explore. Thanks 😊
Totally agree on the Wynn being #1. It is the epitome of class and, as you said, relaxation. Being a person with mobility issues, I love the seating arrangements and comfy chairs. And the fact that you don't have to walk miles (like at Bachanal) to get to the food. I am curious why I never see anyone rating/reviewing the international buffee at Planet Hollywood.
The Planet Hollywood buffet closed during COVID and never came back..same as all of the other Caesar property buffets. The only one left is Bachanel at Caesar's Palace. I miss the Paris Hotel buffet as they had some unique french dishes that you couldn't find anywhere else.
So, here’s the thing, I emerge onto this scene after a lengthy foray with a variety of Asian hosts. I got very weary of the process of pursuing gluttony in exchange for getting one’s money’s worth as though the restaurant and the managers owed them. I love Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai cuisine. Your format is nice. Amanda 🎀

The timing of this video could not be more perfect - released just 3 months before my upcoming Vegas vacation. Before watching I was considering trying SOUTHPOINT buffet, but now I will surely try it, knowing it in the overall top 5 on this list. Prolly will try a couple other buffets as well profiled here.
bachanal is always are fav when we are in Vegas.....second is south point ...we will have to try buffet @ wynn next time,,,,,,,thanks Ruby, as always, a great and informative video
08:40 Pleased to see you rate Main St at #6. I'm a Downtown Boy so when in Vegas I'll have brunch there. If I'm there on Friday and Saturday, I'll have dinner there. It's too bad Covid killed the buffet at the Fremont Hotel. They were great too!
OMG I remember when Bellagio was the epitome of an Indulgence. There were rooms upon rooms with different themes of food and there was no way to get it all. So sad to see it's declined, but at least I have the memories. Aria also had a really good buffet. It tasted like the food was made to order and not mass-produced for a buffet. The dishes were all very nuanced crafted with care. Too bad it's gone. Speaking of downtown I always loved the Golden Nugget Buffet it was very satisfying. And thank God Main Street Station is still there it is definitely a treat either for breakfast or dinner.
Great video and I pretty much agree with everything you said. (Summerlin local here). But I went to AYCE last week and the brisket was so dry I could have more than 2 bites. Ymmv
I do Vegas lots, so I have my MGM card. I Love The Cosmopolitan & The Wicked Spoon & have been nervous they might not keep the quality. Please review them again in a couple months, fingers crossed they don't go downhill!
Can confirm the South Point buffet is legit, I had it on my trip out in June. I can't remember what time it was, afternoon sometime, but no lines. A few hours later it was bust though. It's my new favorite casino, good poker and cheap table games.
Currently, there are 18 open buffets in Las Vegas, 8 on the Las Vegas Strip, and 10 off strip. Here is the list: Buffets on the Las Vegas Strip: 1. Bacchanal Buffet 2. Wynn Buffet 3. Bellagio Buffet 4. Wicked Spoon at Cosmopolitan 5. MGM Grand Buffet 6. Circus Circus Buffet 7. Buffet at Luxor 8. Excalibur Buffet Off Strip & Downtown Vegas Buffets: 1. AYCE Buffet at Palms 2. Garden Buffet at South Point 3. M Resorts Buffet 4. Fresh Buffet at Westgate 5. Garden Court Buffet at Main Street Station 6. Market Place Buffet at Rampart Casino 7.Makino 8. Imperial buffet 9. Krazy buffet 10. Buffet@Asia
I miss the buffet at the Dunes. Not nearly as fancy but Main Street Station is my current favorite. I appreciate the value and location as I always stay downtown.
THANK YOU, Ruby! That was THE best & smartest review I've heard/read of Vegas restaurants, because you carefully made PRICE one of the most important considerations -- along with food quality -- when ranking them. I liked & subscribed. Quibble: I'd only revisit South Point's buffet for breakfast/brunch when I can get and omelette. The dinner (or lunch--I forget) was bad the day I went. The hotel is a good value though, and the Steak 'n' Shake is very well run by everyone who works there.
As someone who doesn't eat seafood the Bacchanal just didn't have value for me. And while there were several items I enjoyed there were just as many I didn't (such as the overdone avocado toast). Wicked Spoon is where it's at for me! I still need to try the Wynn buffet.
Past few times I've went, I've had some pretty nice experiences at the Excalibur buffet. I'll be staying at the MGM Grand first week of September but Excalibur I felt was always good for being one of the "cheap" buffets.
10 years ago bellagio buffet was great. sad how bad it is now. M resorts old buffet was cheap and amazing, $100 is too pricey for me..We always enjoyed the aria buffet before the food court was there.
I must've gone to Wicked Spoon on their worst day! We went in May and it was terrible. Things that should've been cold were room temp, I could've played hockey with the eggs Benedict, a lot of stations were closed or out of food... I'd love for you to go back and do a review!

Main street breakfast buffet i really liked. South point is great too. Need to try wynn one day. Loved caesars palace but it is pricy
Thanks, Ruby! Great list of buffets and will definitely try the Wynn next time!
We go in March Ruby, your buffet video's are very helpful, so thank you ❤
Another great video!!!!!!!!
You are soooo through.
I will definitely watch this again before our next trip...
Ruby's the best!
Excellent video, Ruby! Very helpful for visitors AND locals. You're the best! 💜
Thank u for making this! Very helpful for my upcoming visit to Las Vegas 😊
Please review Rampart Monday night Deli Buffet!
I really appreciate the efficiency of your video. To the point! Nice.
Le Village Buffet at Paris Las Vegas WAS my favorite. Now closed.
It's closed?! This used to be my favorite as well and we're headed there next week.
@@cassijane22 so many buffets in Vegas didn’t come back after Covid. Or Reno.
I have a suggestion for a vlog, and it’s for personal reasons. What are your favorite restaurants for breakfast/brunch? I’ll be there in a few days and gotta have energy to explore. Thanks 😊
I’ve done most of these and you put them in the perfect order-
The Wynn is the standard to me and I be been there 4 times
Love your videos! Can you do a downtown happy hour/what to drink video? Please??????
@@mariza160 Thanks for letting me know. I haven't been back to Vegas since Covid, but I'm going either in November or February.
Excellent review. I’ve tried abt half of these but I def agree w your Top 3. 😋
Gonne go for the first time to vegas this channel is so good to learn about the good spots

Totally agree about the Wynn Buffet. SOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!
Ymmv
Thanks for this wonderful video!
We will be in Vegas in 2 weeks. Food for thought. No pun intended
Last time I was there I saw a huge cockroach crawling on the food. One of the cooks saw it as well and just ignored it
Very nicely done! You are a knowledgeable host and critic.
Aw man, I thought “14 best” would imply that there are 14 good ones, but I guess not. I didn’t think 14th BEST would mean your worst.
Right? Maybe the title should be ‘14 Buffets: The Good, The Bad and the Ugly’ 🤷🏻♀️
Sorrrrry. You thought wrong
Excalibur Buffet
Off Strip & Downtown Vegas Buffets: 1. AYCE Buffet at Palms 2. Garden Buffet at South Point 3. M Resorts Buffet 4. Fresh Buffet at Westgate 5. Garden Court Buffet at Main Street Station 6. Market Place Buffet at Rampart Casino 7.Makino 8. Imperial buffet 9. Krazy buffet 10. Buffet@Asia
and, of course, the golden corrals..... which i really do like!
I miss the buffet at the Dunes. Not nearly as fancy but Main Street Station is my current favorite. I appreciate the value and location as I always stay downtown.
The only place I would eat sushi is a sushi restaurant.
Great video Ruby. I'm coming next weekend and want to check out
South Point for buffet and some gaming as well
Hope you had a nice birthday. All the low end ones are just Golden Corral, good if you have kids. I also liked the Wynn a lot.
Thank you. Your video will be helpful later this month! This is the 2nd video that said the Wynn Buffet is #1.
Thank you.
Much ❤️ love all the way from Fort Worth Texas
Great review! Nice to see off-strip properties listed.
Hey Ruby! Love watching your videos while planning my own Vegas trip. I'm planning on going in December. Any good tips for winter?
THANK YOU, Ruby!
That was THE best & smartest review I've heard/read of Vegas restaurants, because you carefully made PRICE one of the most important considerations -- along with food quality -- when ranking them.
I liked & subscribed.
Quibble: I'd only revisit South Point's buffet for breakfast/brunch when I can get and omelette. The dinner (or lunch--I forget) was bad the day I went. The hotel is a good value though, and the Steak 'n' Shake is very well run by everyone who works there.
The Palms AYCE is now $80. Too Bad😩
Thanks for the heads up prices changes. I was thinking about booking, but I won't now
Only their lobster dinner buffet on Wed nights has gone up to $79.99. Their regular dinner buffet has increased to $46.99 from $36.99.
@@kittiew260 "Don't spend your hard-earned money here; it's not worth it."
As someone who doesn't eat seafood the Bacchanal just didn't have value for me. And while there were several items I enjoyed there were just as many I didn't (such as the overdone avocado toast). Wicked Spoon is where it's at for me! I still need to try the Wynn buffet.
Bacc is so over priced it's hilarious
Without seafood i can definitely see Bacchanal not being worth the experience!
Yep, I don't eat seafood either. And their dessert station was TERRIBLE!
wow cool story bro
My husband and I generally stay downtown and we love the Mainstreet buffet. Great price, clean and good food!
as a buffet eater for forty years I miss every hotel having a buffet. I also enjoy the South Point Buffet for great price and food!
I remember paying 1.99 for the buffet at Circus Circus in the 80's and it was great!
Ruby thanks for the video. I'm definitely checking out Palms
Totally miss the pre pandemic M buffet 😢
I must've gone to Wicked Spoon on their worst day! We went in May and it was terrible. Things that should've been cold were room temp, I could've played hockey with the eggs Benedict, a lot of stations were closed or out of food... I'd love for you to go back and do a review!
Excellent video very helpful
I'll go for the Excalibur buffet...but contemplating for those crab legs somewhere... thanks for posting this video... more power to your video..
New video! Thank you!
We have been to most of the buffets you listed, and I feel you nailed it. Wynn is definitely the best!!!
Excalibur and Luxor buffets were pretty good. We were not disappointed at all. MGM was outstanding.
Going to try South Point since will be close by. Thank you!
