@RodmanIsASadPanda - You can do it either way. I took off the sides for an easier and cleaner looking application. Also, don't use paint. Use a vinyl dye that you can get from an automotive store. It will sink into the plastic so it won't chip off or look bad after a minor scrape. It comes in many colors and in matte or glossy depending on how you want it to look. Mine are matte (matches the body better) in the video, but the MvC & Round 2 sides are glossy.

@RodmanIsASadPanda - Basically. There are 7 or 8 screws on the bottom of the stick that need to be removed. Then you can pull the bottom part of the frame off (or if you leave the electronics hooked up, just turn 90º. That will expose the 6 (or 4?) screws that hold the sides to the top of the frame.
You can see all of that detailed in LowFierce's TE S side install video: ruclips.net/video/qWBVMqpxbmk/видео.html

Wait....how do I remove the original sides? Next time I open the stick I am going to have a look, but are they removable or you have to cut them? And also, how do you stick the wooden panels to the box after you removed the original plastic sides?
