Day 3 (again, months later sadly): cutting the feet and sides. It's cold out!!!
This video was delayed because my phone that I shot it on was stolen before I had a chance to dump the video, however iCloud is awesome and when I received my replacement phone, my videos were restored! Pfew.

I have a question about routing the sides. In the video you routed the outer side but I'm guessing your also going to do the same profile for the inner side? If so, how do you tackle the inner corners? The angle isn’t too extreme on your side piece so might be a non-issue but I'm planning to build my sides with a foot that runs along the side of the base, just like your original cab. With that design there is an inner right angle corner that’s chamfered 45 degrees. Will a router just follow the rail to the right angle and match up automatically or is there a trick to it?
Apologies if I'm not explaining myself very well.
Going through the last bits of design and prep work at the moment before I start a build in the new year so your videos are a great help! Please keep them coming.

Let's talk about the sides in the upright position: the front edge has a 3/4" bevel on the outer side and 1/2" bevel on the inside. The back edge of the side will not be routed.
I didn't have any issue with my first cabinet doing a 1/2" bevel along the foot. You do get a bit of a radius where the foot meets the side. I wasn't particularly in love with that look, which is why I did 2 pieces on this cab.

Thank you so much for watching my videos and having an interest in my project.
Unfortunately it is now officially on indefinite hiatus. My mother passed away in the spring and my second child was just born this fall. I have absolutely no time to work on it. On top of that, I'm moving to another state and enrolling in college.
I do have the pieces and wood still and can still finish the project, but I cannot say when that might happen.
If you need help with your own cab or plans feel free to contact me and I'll provide as much help as I can.

I can't find the video about making NOIR cabinet, is it hard to make compair to vewlix?

It's finally warming up here so I can get back out in the garage, but now they're threatening another 3-7" of snow tonight.

Donovan Myers Nice to hear that you'll continue those videos. I built a bartop arcade last year, but I sold it to a friend. You can see it on my channel, my video is in portuguese, because I'm brazilian, but I added some subtitles on english. Now I want to build a vewlix, and your videos will guide me to do it. Thanks.
Great videos but why did they stop?
My mom passed away and I now have 2 kids, one with special needs. We ended up moving states and the project got scrapped. I have plans and info on my website. If YOU want to make it, I'll try and help.
Donovan Myers Donovan sorry to hear about your mom. I am in Colorado if you need any assistance.. hope your project can one day be completed. If you are not to busy I had a question about your router bit. I order the big ass router bit model 40-118, I'd you use these same bit when cutting the 1/2 inch side as well as the 3/4 side? Sorry I am a newb at routers... this project has been on hold for 3 years since we last spoke on you tube lol.. I am just now ordering all the bits , forester, sizes , flush bits, etc etc.. I even bout a special template bit to install sanwa joysticks .. thanks again hope it gets better for you
