How come the Police cannot get there for 24 hours because of the rough terrain but a boy can go there with a Kite can get there and back after finding the bodies?????

Maybe because the boy was on foot and the police was trying to get there by car to collect the bodies.

Apart from the general weirdness of this case there has always been one thing that bugged me. The boy who found the bodies claimed that he was there to fly a kite, however the terrain was so rugged that the police had trouble even getting there. How could anyone fly a kite in such an environment?
Why was the kid really there?
What's even worse is why did it take so long to autopsy the bodies? Surely, they could of at least saved tissue and blood samples for later testing instead of waiting weeks to even look at the bodies.o
@@robynrich7800 This was in the 60’s. The death rate was high and so was the homicide rate (however not nearly as high as today). There were only a limited number of forensic doctors and I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a lot of corruption too. This was most likely not a high priority case.

It’s for the algorithm for the most part. Despite some content on the platform being age restricted Google still treat everyone on it as if it is a daycare. Penalizing those who don’t discuss every topic as if the audience were all children. It’s silly.
This is why AI thumbnails are garbage, that’s not what the lead masks looked like, they looked like Mcguyvered tanning goggles.

Another seemingly mundane detail that actually stands out when you think about it are the towels. Unless the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy was right all along about towels, that is a quite peculiar thing to bring. The first thing that springs to mind is that they used the towels to lay upon, but the problem is they never did. They didn’t buy the towels where they got the raincoats, suggesting they brought them all the way from home. Why, and for what reason? Could the towels have been used as wrapping around some sensitive machinery or possibly an unstable substance that went missing from the scene at some point?
When ever there is mystarious unsloved case , there always a botched and absolutely careless investigation..And that is the reason these cases are never solved.
Police incompetence scuttled any hope of finding the answer to this one. No toxicology tests done until so much time had passed that they couldn't do it??? And another similar case had happened in the same area a few years earlier, lead mask and all, and that case got no toxicology test either?

There are two Egyptian Scientists who died and to this day nobody got arrested. The first is Samira Moussa and the latter is called Yehia El Mashad. Samira died prior in 1952 or so and he was assisnated in France 1980.
Check the weird ham radio logs of the area if possible.
What most likely happened: It never happened. The first mention of this story EVER was in Readers Digest in 1992. It was later added to Mysteries of the Unexplained in an expanded story. Since then, it has been expanding each time someone online retells it with zero references. Aside from other internet retellings.
it DID happen. It's well documented here in Brazil.
Fact is the first time the case was mentioned in English was in Flying Saucer Review in March, 1967 in an article by Charles Bowen in which he referred to a number of Brazilian newspaper articles. There was even a mention in the weekly paper O Cruzeiro that Manoel and Miguel had, along with their friend Elcio Gomes, built some device in Manoel's garden that exploded - about two months before the deaths.
This is not a made up story, although details may have been garbled.
