The crying part is sooo relatable. I basically don't have emotions at all ... but if I do have an emotion ... I cry.

I cry so much, and I genuinely agree that crying is a way you process an overwhelming emotion, happy or sad. I happily cry so much 🤧 it helps me understand that I'm being overwhelmed with a feeling, when I might not be able to identify that on my own👌🏽

I cannot wait for the chronic pain content. It's so painful just existing and I'm so relieved to finally find someone else who is making a connection between the struggles of being Autistic and having Chronic pain, and how the sensory sensitivity plays into it and how both conditions make one another harder. My pain regions are almost exactly the same as yours are as well. I'm not sure if you also experience fatigue too, but if/when you make that chronic pain management content, if you could discuss/give advice on how to manage the bodily fatigue itself, but also the social struggle of having to explain to people how invisible pain restricts the types of social events (that require lots of standing and movement especially) and how to maintain a social life and also seek support from people regarding the invisible pain. It's just so hard to explain to people how it feels, and it's hard to either sacrifice my own wellbeing and completely dysregulate myself by suffering through extremely painful social events that require lots of standing or sitting in horrible chairs (and just most events honestly) just because I don't want to make people think that I'm coming up with excuses not to do things or to avoid people.
Anyway, thanks for this video and all the other helpful videos you've made already. You're amazing and I'm so glad I found your channel.

To add to the physical section, I think self-havening touch can help a lot to self-soothe.

Thank you for the point about how it's draining to be warmer for some people but also good because it connects you to that part of you. This is hard for me & I feel fake or like I'm overly masking when I do it but this is a great point.

I enjoy your videos because they are so peaceful, relatable, and thoughtful, with lots practical advice. My sensitive ears also really appreciate the quiet background music, calm tone of voice, and lack of annoying sound effects. I think it is interesting that you said the spirituality is not the same as religion, because your definition includes things that, to me, are definitely part of religion.

I've never clicked so fast on one of your videos and I immediately went and purchased your new workbook through Etsy!
The timing could be perfect since I've lately been thinking a lot about the issues I have with rest and relaxation (esp after work on weekdays) and I can't wait to dive into this workbook to learn more about it, find what works for me, and come up with a system that'll help me thrive! 🥰

12:42 every time I watch your videos I relate so much! I don't have a lot of friends to talk about this stuff with, so it's nice to listen to you. Especially since it reminds that I'm very disabled in a world that isn't made for me, so off course I'm going to struggle. Self-compassion is so important! ❤

36:50 group therapy for sure turned me around at my lowest point in life, and I absolutely recommend it! It was comforting and helped me feel able to reveal myself in front of so many different people. I was there for 2 months. I saw people come and go, and I loved talking to/ hearing from every one of them! Having a lead group therapist is super important in my opinion to keep things on track with a certain topic of the day or to get things started with a daily check in sheet!

I've felt so much shame with myself this past year, after learning about what autism looks like in afab individuals, and relating to it heavily. There seems to be a pushback to the sudden surge in self-diagnosis, that can be really disheartening to witness when you're desperate for answers and scared of scrutiny. Your videos and workbooks have really given me a chance to focus on how to change the way I live to suit what I need, and it's been so relieving to care more about who I am, versus what others might think of me. You do amazing work, thank you so much!

New subscriber because of this video! This video was insightful, thoughtful, engaging, educational, and motivational. Thanks for completing the workbook with us. Love the advice of enjoying simple moments like dancing. There is a quote by Morgan Harper Nichols that says " I hope you meet at least a few people on this path whom you can share the experience of making one another feel seen." You are helping people with your content and helping us feel seen. I need to focus on self-care/wellbeing. I find walking to be nourishing to the soul but need to be consistent! I think outdoor walks will help and RUclips walking workouts like Grow with Jo and Leslie Sansone. I also think a journal/planner might help with this for example, Mariane Cresp has a video about her fitness tracker and well-being planner and Nperfect Plans has a video about self-care planning in her cloth and paper planner. Thanks for using your channel to encourage others!

It's so beautiful the way you put into words real feelings and experiences I've had as an autistic person but could never articulate because I'd never heard it expressed by anyone else. It's really so different getting this kind of detailed life guidance from someone autistic. Thank you so much for everything you do here on RUclips. Each video is its own little dose of healing.
(P.S. - I am sooooo buying your Etsy workbook now)

I have been reading atomic habits by James clear. I took the advice from the book and started making the things I wanted/needed to do obvious. For example, as an autist i get overstimulated from technology quickly, and I spend a lot of time on discord. I also love reading and want to read more and spend less time on my phone. so I joined a book club server on discord, now when I open my phone, I am pulled towards reading a book. Then, I am more likely to read. it is less to do with motivation and more to do with environment and queuing the brains response system. Now I am more likely to pass time reading a fantasy novel than reach for my phone. simple. reading a book gives me the escapism I need without overstimulating my brain lololol. So i made it appear interesting, attractive, and in my immediate environment. That's just one of the ways o rest and reset.

HEY! I GET NAUSEOUS TOO! When i have sensory overwhelm i mean. That was so nice for me to hear. For myself I always imagined it to be like eating at a buffet. I know that when i overeat at an actual buffet I get nauseous so I likened this to my sensory experience. I imagine that because i am "eating" or absorning so much rich sensory information I get overwhelmed and "too full" and literally cannot stomach taking in amy more information. It likewise happena to me with visuals. I dont know what the science behind it is but youre not alone and im happy that im not either. It happens to me most often if i visit a new city. by the end of a day of exploration i feel like ill puke if i see another unusually coloured interesting building (or experiemce any more stimulation). It used to happen from my old job in the theatre too where there was a lot of competimg visual input.

Do you have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome? Your pain sounds like hEDS. Here in New Orleans we have a great research clinic where they’re studying a gene that causes some of us to process folic acid and other important nutrients incompletely causing a deficit, which leads to hypermobility and chronic pain. That’s obviously an oversimplification but it’s something like that.
