ThisIzOllie the song sucks get over yourself. You realize people usually just send one vote for their favorite songs right? How do you expect anybody to vote for UK when I forgot the song in the 30 mins I hadn’t heard it
5 countries have won under this new system, but only 1 country has achieved what was deemed by many to be impossible under the new system. Therefore UK wins again!!!
I'm just gonna say it as a British person: We completely deserved that 100% our song was the worst if not 2nd or 3rd to last. The staging was horrific, we always have the same 4 dancers in a lime at the front it's old and boring. Trumpets were tacky and stupid. Singer wasn't that great at singing, no effort was put in to make the song good, original or modern. Singer had no charisma or looks (I know that's shallow but it gets points to have someone attractive) Costume was embarrassing. And we still blame it on politics! (Which yes I agree is a lot, but we didn't give people much reason to vote for us otherwise.) I swear if the UK came out with a rap we would have many more points than the generic, "powerful" song that we always do.
It's true that his clothes were completely unflattering and made him look like a mess. He was a bad picture. What he wore when he got the 0 points is what he should have worn on stage. Which makes me always wonder, wasn't there anyone in both the UK and Malta delegations to see that these people don't look as they should on stage? How difficult was that????? Truth is truth, don't feel bad about declaring it.
Dude. The UK doesn't care. It doesn't matter how good the song is. It's always going to neighbours voting for each other and politics. I hope in 2022, the UK bring in the Teletubbies so we can all have a laugh.
You've watched the Jemini performance..... it's MUCH MUCH worse, least he sang in key or close to the key. I don't care anyway, James stated he had so much fun + his celebration shows he didn't care + found a way to celebrate the 0 points haha ! He's a cool guy !

Yea, the entry was bad, but we celebrated like only a Brit could, but shaking up a beer & celebrating like our team scored a goal GOOD ON YOU JAMES NEWMAN!!!
If you look at the tracks that James Newman has written to make him 'Grammy" award winning writer, apart from Little Mix (and THAT track was forgettable & weak), he has written two for Rudimental (one which featured him), and the other two were tracks he featured on too. So....er....top writer? I don't think he warrants that title unless he's written hits for more than those HE has actually featured on! Look, the entry was weak, his performance was weak and he admitted that his performance on ESC was the FIRST TIME he had EVER performed in front of an audience!!! WTF!!!!!!! We made our own bed, he laid down on it and broke it.

UK 0 points in 2003 = Turkey win
UK 0 points in 2021 = Turkey comeback in Italia 2022
Jendrik’s reaction is priceless 🥺🥺 such a sweetie
Nil points should be viewed as a badge of honour in this contest.
German guy looks like a RUclipsr.
he looks like pewdiepie
TIX after the 4 countries after him all recieved 0 points: *chuckles* I'm in danger
I will just..... don't say anything!!!!!They didn't deserve this!!!That was outrageous!!!!!!
i think he did deserve the standing ovation from the Dutch audience
@@Freekjanssen11 Can't believe a rock song won.. lol
@@Bretaxy it slapssssssssss and they're all so cool too >:)

tell me about oof without saying oof
Feel sorry for uk. They have so many famous singers. Try to convince one with a nice song to participate
We tried that in the past, well known singers don't want the humiliation, even back in 1966 Cilla Black refuses to do it for fear of losing ..
That may be a hard sell after this. No singer/songwriter wants that devastating embarrassment on his resume. The song wasn't even all that bad and I thought he sung well. It's really does seem like its political folks. I thought we wouldn't even be allowed to take part when we have left the EU but I suppose they had to make their point.
ThisIzOllie the song sucks get over yourself. You realize people usually just send one vote for their favorite songs right? How do you expect anybody to vote for UK when I forgot the song in the 30 mins I hadn’t heard it
@@georgiarushanov2210 Perhaps the UK should not take part & not pay 25% of the cost, make all entrants pay instead...
jrgboy yea that’s the kind of logic that got you into the brexit dogpile. People never learn.
The most iconic moment in ESC history.
So weird how it was the exact jury bottom 4 as well 😶
This was absolutely unbelievable to behold. Never seen anything like it before, and I've been watching Eurovision for my whole life.
Norway be like: 😳🙏
Please a point 🤣
Non of them received the zero points, but specially Jendrik... I love his personality so much.
Reason james newman got 0
It was his off key performance
The best part of the night - the 4 zerooos
In the sixties it was actually quite usual that three or four countries got zero points.
I LOVE Jendrik's reaction 😄
I also love his song and feel bad about the fact that it got 0 points :[
5 countries have won under this new system, but only 1 country has achieved what was deemed by many to be impossible under the new system. Therefore UK wins again!!!
Gotta love james reaction.
@@irondasgr The Eurovision has to do something with the way someone dresses ? You get points for the outfits ? You vote on the clothing / staging ? I thought it was the song, or neighbouring voting ? lol.
@@chelsixify sorry but it has to do with the entire performance as a whole because this is what surrounds the singing. Are you saying Italy would have still won if they didn't have incredibly attractive singers with amazing styles and clothes. Nah
Norway: *shuckles* I am in danger
UK 0 points
James Newman could have just laid low & taken it... But he decided to make the show his own & he celebrated that fact that he was there.
Hate on the song all you want, but he took a negative moment & made it a positive, isn't that what we should celebrate?
Yea, the entry was bad, but we celebrated like only a Brit could, but shaking up a beer & celebrating like our team scored a goal
GOOD ON YOU JAMES NEWMAN!!!
I could have pictured Bad News Barrett delivering the news with his "I'm afraid I got some bad news" catchphrase
How many people were asked to take part & refused before James Newman said yes, they won't tell you ...
This was my first eurovision and I was screaming
I think UK should send a song about zero points.. Atleast some viewers would get the joke and they might end up getting a few points.. Who knows 🤔
Well done uk never disappointed me
Although the UK song was pretty basic and derivative, the worst song was from Germany. I don't know why they put out such a weird song, everything about it screams kitsch of the worst kind
Because the german broadcaster doesn't give a sh*t about Eurovision.
what's about Spain or Netherlands we get 0 points tooo xd
German song is so amazing! It’s underrated, imo
You can see James Newman saying "1" and laughing before getting 0
I am italian and i am happy that Italy won, but at the same time i am sad for the UK, he deserved at least 50 points (in my opinion)
Actually, British performace was much better than Moldovic or Spanish. And the German one litteraly deserved for 0 points, i dont fucking know who gave any points to Germans xD even Polish song was better than the german one
@@bbbuuu8099 I think the spanish song was the best of those 4 but none song deserved 0 points
Won*
Netherlands actually did not deserve that zero and I will die on this hill
They deserved that with their song about Broccoli.
