This voting was so stressful, probably the best voting sequence I can remember. Italy with 318 points. France nearly catching them. Ukraine and Finland getting all those well-deserved points. The zeros. Maneskin's reaction. Everything was amazing.
Also, major credit to Eric Van Tjin, the background music composer here. This is the best background scoring the show's ever had.
I was holding my breath so hard when i saw finland as finnish person to go first for a second. It still makes me almost cry how amazing that moment was.

This year my favourite song wasn't from The Netherlands, but from Italy. Our song was crap this year and I love Italy....been there dozens of times, love the country, the food, the people and the music.

To be honest I'm French and I'm really happy Italy won. I love our song (and that's rare, usely I dislike it almost every year 😅) but damn everything in Måneskin's performance was amazing ! And I love the fact that they sing in italian just like I love the fact that France and Switzerland sing in french and Ukraine sing in ukrainian etc... So it wasn't about having french songs in the lead, it was about being prouved that you don't have to sing in english to touch people. I wish the different countries could send more bands that sing in their language at the Eurovision.

It actually could be even five zeros. Belgium could get 0-1 point too. It got 3 points in total. Lithuania (viewers) gave 2 points. It is most likely influenced by a Lithuanian commenter which gave quite big praises for a Belgium band. He really likes that band and the song (praised it both in the semi and in the final). Also Ukraine viewers gave 1 point.

I watch this again and feel the same excitement as when it was live and they said "Italy has received 318 points!" I honestly didn't think they would win during the contest, but this moment was so exciting and was very happy when they actually won :) They are an amazing band! Their faces, Damiano's especially, then Ethan's all shocked, Victoria and Thomas' all excited, it was a great moment!

Lol This year Loreen was the favourite to win as soon as her paretecipation was announced and it arrived first in the jury vote by 100 miles...Her victory was easly foregone.
