The fact that Sweden received 12 points from 15 countries and Finland only from 2 shows how unfair the jury is. It's been like this for years. Remember when Poland received 222 points from the public and 7 points from the jury (2016).
And the fact that public not gave to sweden any 12 points means that the children cannot has phone, example San Marino in 2012 for the jury she passed tot he final but the public....
Similar goes for Croatia, people from over the world rated them nr.7, but totally ignored by jury, obviously something is wrong..cause all this show is for the people - milions who listen and watch prefered performances in full, not for the “musical” jury..
It was my first and last time voting. I voted for Norway and was shocked how badly it did with the jury vote but was third best with the public lol never again!

And also the fact that he basically was the clear winner and the only thing that kept him from actually winning was a rigged jury. So no I don't think he got humbled but maybe you need to
Loreen did a great job, we can't deny that. However, the jury needs to stop manipulating the scores. Not only did they elevate Sweden so high that it was impossible to defeat them even with the maximum number of viewer votes, but they also intentionally underrated some countries, such as Norway and Ukraine, knowing that they would receive a lot of televotes.
Televote points can be easily manipulated too, some one who has a lot of money can just buy a bunch of sim cards and vote a couple of times for a country they like. A person can vote up to 10 times. It does not represent the actually opinion of general public who some of them do not want to spend money on voting for a song they like. Sweden and Finland both are good songs, acc to views in all platforms Sweden has more views. So we can clearly see that the televote was rigged. Juries gave the trophy to the country that actually deserved it. Juries were the voice of the public who did not pick up their phones to spend money and vote for a song. Liking a song doesn't mean spending money on it. Jurors are general public too, so take that into account. That is why Loreen deserved that victory more than anyone else.
Loreen is the rightful winner for me. As for Finland; it was paying, whoever wanted to put in the most money won the televote. An example: buddies of mine are all for Loreen but they don't want to give their money to it, those are people who didn't vote in the televote. The televote says something, but not everything. If that televote was free, all my buddies would have been voting for Loreen too.
@@-.a Agreed. Totally bending the democratic vote of the public. It’s actually hurtful that we have to pay to vote, and their incompetence can completely override it. Very disappointed indeed…
Jury just vote their music industry friends and the neighbor countries. Jury is more politcal and corrupt than popular vote. Supposendly was introduced to be unbiased and focus on musical talent
Why is Sweden always overvalued? All respect and congratulations to Loreen, but it's always them! They can sing anything with any artist they are always appreciated. I feel the same about Italy. Now if the same song were from another country, it wouldn't be so loved.
The Italian and Swedish preselections were inspirations for the concept of the contest and their entries mostly have high quality standards. It's understandable they get lots of jury points from a professional perspective. On the other hand there are countries that vote for each other every single year just for being friends or getting lots of points due to diaspora, and often borrow professionals from Sweden for writing their songs, composing, cheoreographies and stagings to increase their chances to win. Imo it's not fair to blame them just for getting recognition for being professionals.
@@rowo2774 My institute doesn't blame them, but you had to agree that it's unfair to other countries. Sweden always sends a song of the same style and not the culprits, because Swedish artists are really talented, but they always receive a lot of points. To see Norway get over 200 points and shoot straight to second place felt so good. But then Finland got over 300 points and took the lead, that felt SO cathartic.
Finland deserved to win... got over 350 votes from public, it's sad the jury votes count so much for the final ranking. After jury votes, the votes should be cut by 50% and then they would start to give the televoting / public votes. Would be much better than this huge cap between Sweeden and everyone else...

That means 18 countries. Sweden didn't receive 12 points from any country. Well done to the jury, she's your winner. Our winner is Kaarija! 💚
How? Is voting for the best song and performance not more important than voting for the one you "like" the most Either way most favorites were ruined by specifically the televote, I'm surprised I haven't heard a single person from Spain talking about abolishing the televote
Without the juries, Spain would be last place which would be totally undeserved (unique cultural song with the best vocalist). As flawed as the jury votes are, the televotes are arguably worse.
I don't agree, on the contrary, I find that the jury voted rather well.... because there were in the top 10 artists like Alika for Estonia who was very classy on stage, with a voice and a pretty song. Same for Spain which was literally destroyed by the public. Especially when we see that the public is voting for Croatia, we can ask ourselves questions. The jury often rewards real artists of real music so they must not disappear..... they are clearly useful even if it's true I might not have placed Sweden in number 1 this year! !!!!
The jury wanted an ABBA 50th anniversary celebration in Sweden. It's so obvious in how many countries gave full 12 points to Sweden in an effort to give them an unbeatable lead and succeed they did. I'm not mad that Sweden won, but I'm mad that they won with Loreen singing basically the same song as before, when there were so many more unique and inspiring performances this year to choose from. No way that song deserved so many top spots in the jury vote.
My thoughts exactly! There were so many other countries that deserved more points, so this feel just... wrong and prearranged. A handful of people decided the winner, but she's not my winner.
There’s no evidence to prove it. I don’t like the jury either but it’s just the system they have and they follow it. There is no ground to support that theory except for it being “convenient” for Sweden to host next year with the ABBA anniversary.

Yes! And Finland. 15 countries gave Finland 0 points.
yes. The juries underrate songs to offset public vote, the public overrates songs to offset jury vote. In several years this will be a total mess
I agree but it is what it is
The Finnish guy literally has poor vocals and the Norwegian girl failed miserably at the jury show
Televote points can be easily manipulated too, some one who has a lot of money can just buy a bunch of sim cards and vote a couple of times for a country they like.

Croatia was also robbed so fuckin hard. That song was fantastic. They should of won because Croatia did so much better than Switzerland this year. Its very aggravating
honestly I would have preferred to see Finland win the contest this year, and Sweden was much better last year to win the contest... The judges all screw up every time...
Yep, Sweden definitely deserved to win last year.
The other years it was funny to see Germany get 0 points and stay at the bottom, but not this year. They deserved way more points this year. idk I would leave the competition at this point and see who was going to pay for my part 🤷
-Kid:dad,what does robbery mean?
-Dad:it means jury votes
The 5 points for Spain is just so unfair 😭
I voted :( My country still didn’t give her anything sadly
Lo injusto es que gane un cover de una canción que ya fue un éxito hace años
@Sam Wille normie
4:40 this moment is everything ❤
Yes, justice was done! And a solid slap in the face of the rigged juries.
Is not!
Finland was clearly the peoples champ. I listen to Cha Cha Cha minimum 3-4 times daily. As original and as a cover from Lord of the Lost.
I knew it will be hard for Finland to reach Loreen after the Jury Votes but we have to say, Loreen didn't win that clear.
Good morning and now time to listen Cha Cha Cha twice
You do know that Loreen’s song has twice as many Spotify listens right?
@@lexastern6824 Her Fanbase has been rised sind 11 years. I am pretty sure that many of the listeners are fans of her since the win in 2012
You do realise that tattoo just sounded like a knock of from her last song euphoria fans want different and thats why Kaarija got up to 87% of public votes. CHA CHA CHA CHA CHA CHA CHA 🇫🇮
@@liamegan2968 Not only that, it was plagiary of Mika Newton - В плену
Same, I have it on repeat all the time.
I now understand why a lot of people from Germany do not like or watch ESC. It's like no matter what we do, we'll be last or at the bottom.
My favorite was Finland, but congrats to Loreen for winning this year ^^
That song was trash and the singer had a trash wardrobe hah
Don't dress like idiots and maybe I will vote for Germany next time
2018 wasn't that long ago, and this was a bloodbath year, so don't be discouraged
@@tiny_lebowski bloodbath year? Without pre recorded vocals some of the singers were pretty weak this year
@@EurovisionSlayContest-kn6on it's not just about the vocals, it's the overall package of vocals/staging/lyrics/originality/etc. and I think Blood and Glitter had a lot of it, but the genre didn't have mass appeal and there were a few big favorites who did. It still did better than the last two German entries combined, got more televotes than the last three German entries combined, and got more televotes than the UK and Spain combined.
Also, you got to go to the final, which is more than 11 other countries can say this year, two of each had epic vocals and haven't been in the final since 2016.
The juries have literally no idea what they're doing. Check who's on your national jury for Eurovision, look me in the eyes and tell me you're proud they're representing you
Jury points need to be changed to only counting 25% of the full points given. The public is what matters the most
Yes and they are corrupted or incompetent
25%?!? That's worse than removing them (which I don't think should happen) cause we would just be pretending we didn't removed them.
Y'all were complaining about Kalush's win last year
we are in 2023 enough of the corrupt juries. the Winner must be elected 100% by the public televote.
100% Televote also has lots of problems..
100% televote give us poland, so...
I agree that televote is much more important than jury voting. However, it’s also very interesting to watch the jury voting… so idk, I’m torn on this one… maybe make it 75 televote/25 jury on something
Jury votes should count as 25% not 50.
Spain, Portugal, France, Moldova cultural proposals, intelligent, elegant and professional ! Televoting just highlighted the level of the people who voted……
totally agree with you. I liked Moldova's song so much!
100% agree with you
Totally agree with you, im so sad that spain recived 5 points 😢
people only care if the song is energetic, sad or danceable, if its not, they wouldn't care to vote even the best song ever created, i kinda just prefer to let the jury votes be tbh because if people continue to votes this trashysongs like polands, eventually every song will become one like polands song, for example look at georgia this year, its was objectively good, but, "haha pretty girl dancing lol, vote"
@@EscDIDI-Sp only from portugal and rest of the world, Portugal (my country) only recieved from france, spain and switzerland as they are like friendly countries to us
Loreen got zero 12s from the televote, Eurovision your voting is fucking broken, the juries have too much power
So, You're telling that Russia, that won the televote at least twice, but not the jury's vote, had to be a winner? Finland it's the different case. They will not be #1 in charts all over the Europe tomorrow.
@@natalyn8348 Finland is now #1 on Spotify viral lists all over Europe, and also #1 on the Global viral list (which is massive).
But she got many votes because she was second on the televotes. So the People loved her anyway
Unpopular opinion: everyone was too busy to vote for Finland that they forget Austria, Spain, Australia, Chech Republic, Serbia,.... do I have to add some countries? Come on guys, the results of televote were just ridiculous...
Why Germany is always the last?? Their performance was cool!!!!
I think the genre is not to everyone´s taste like Spain - terrible but the audience want generic pop crap that can be played on the radio or some cheap disco to bop at
Germans don't have big diaspora like other countries :)
From my perspective their costumes were too much too.
@@annastefanska7197 really? - when Croatia were strutting around in white Y fronts lol - I think the wilder the costumes the more the audience love it

5:13 you came for this 🤣🇫🇷
5:17 best moment and basically my reaction every time Sweden got 12 points.
what did she mean by her gesture?
That was beautiful and perfect. 😜💚 That shows what televotes thinks about jury.
Thanks for pointing it out. I missed it.
Hahaha. Classic French reaction.
I love her lmao
Spain, Austria, Armenia, Czechia, Australia and somewhat the UK getting such a low score from the public was shocking, like I literally screamed at Spain and Austria results.
I feel sooo bad for Spain she's so talented, sad that Europe didn't saw that... I have no words...
Lol add Serbia, Slovenia and Italia and you got 7 worst song of 2023 eurovision... That Mae can't sing if she needed to save her life... Spain? Rlly? You deaf or something?
Austria was bad live show. Love the studio version.
@@onix3539 true but it didn't deserve 16 televotes that's like too low
I didn't understand it either. I was at the semi-final 2 show and Austria's was popular with the crowd!
300 points from the jury. I would not be surprised by 1 brain cell if this was rigged for Abba's 50th anneversary yama dama ding dong
Must be nice being from Sweden, Italy or Israel, these countries get an automatic top5 from the jury no matter what they bring each year
That's just not true. Most of the time they send a song meeting most jury qualifications but they failed also a lot of times.
With Israel is not a true. When they got good place from juries expect that year and 2018?
Did u see Sweden this year? 2 good artists who sang good and knew What they were doing. They got 9th place.
It's a shame that Finland did not win, why are there judges at Eurovision at all? Finland is the winner in our hearts 2023. Loreen is not a fair victory, huge fan base even after the first victory in 2012, I think the winners should be banned from performing a second time. So they don't let new artists win. Shame on the judges!Love from Ukraine 🇺🇦
@@EmilSterner jury has been favoring sweden for years now for the simple reason that your country has money and will give points even if you send the worst song of the year. If you can't see that you're painfully oblivious.
we (germany) absolutely have to get out of eurovision for a few years. It just doesn't make sense the way it is for so many reasons.
Let’s start a petition, I’ll happily sign. It was somewhat understandable over the last few years (though Malik was a good song and should’ve done a bit better imo), but this shows that we need to step back and allow some time to pass.
Unreal that spain only got 5 points. That performance was so beautifully done
Loreen received over 300 votes from juries, honestly no one had a real chance to win except Loreen! What a joke!
That tends to happen when you send a really good song with a powerful performer
@@dikoproz and it still didn’t won public vote, didn’t even come close to Käärijä.
@@Werggi Yet she came second in the televote!! That shows how loved the Swedish song was.
@@dikoproz yes real copy😆
@@Werggi She was 2nd in televoting, people did love her it wasn't just the jury. Both acts deserved to win equally, but it was obvious Loreen would do much better with the jury because it's slower paced and artistic while Cha Cha Cha is super hyped and crazy. I loved both but I don't see how people can say this masterpiece from Loreen wasn't win worthy.
Just gonna drop a fact: Sweden did not win the televote in ANY of the countries... NO COUNTRY THOUGHT TATTOO WAS THE BEST SONG
@@FlubFlubber yes, if its free, Loreen will have most public votes record this year.

I am just here to inform you that Käärijä got the 12 points (#1) of 18 countries' televoting, and Sweden won no 12 points (#1) from all the countries' televoting. Let me repeat that clearly: SWEDEN WON NO TELEVOTING FROM ALL THE COUNTRIES, JUST A BUNCH OF 8's AND 10's.
When I first read that, I am very surprised. Come on, that really shows how people loved Cha Cha Cha more than Tattoo.
Wow.
Käärijä in our hearts! 🇫🇮
Sorry but I'm confused on the voting. Especially the 12s thing. Is that when the juries give 12 points to the countries because if so I thought Sweden did but I'm probably wrong
@@lonewolf3138 There are two sets of 12 points from each country. One from the jury and one from the televoting. It all equates into 24 points.

- Armenia, France, Slovenia and Spain deserved a top 10.
- Serbia and Germany should have been at least 5,6 places higher, they didn’t deserve to be that low.
- Finland is the winner.
- Sweden was realistically a top 5, but not a winner. Loren didn’t need this in her career at all.
- I am happy for Italy and Norway though, at least someone got their realistically deserved place.
- Belgium brought positive energy
The shocked and angry sounds at Spain's 5 points are amazing and proof that Blanca Paloma deserved far, far more than what she got.
3 from Portugal and 2 from the rest of the world, the rest of Europe should be ashamed!
same as Austria. I could hear the same sounds when Austria's score was revealed.
No, 5 estuvo bien. Lamentablemente la canción no tenía nada de lo que un oyente no español pudiese aferrarse. El talento y la increíble voz de Blanca Paloma se desperdiciaron en una canción fatal.
@@fernandogordillo9347exactly. To me its an incredibly vexing song to listen to. It did not deserve more.

As a Spaniard I think that Spain should withdraw from Eurovision. If Spain presents an ethnic song, only Portugal values it, if it's presented by Eastern countries, it's different. Blanca Paloma perhaps didn't have the best song, but she have one of the best voices and one of the best staging. Conclusion: to win Eurovision you have to sing commercial music in English.
RTVE, please stop giving money for this festival, the spanish people would enjoy more a festival with Portugal and Latin America.

Absolutely. I can still recall Euphoria, but not the Tattoo. Tattoo just didn't have anything spectacular about it that makes it memorable.
