Stipe looked sluggish before the exchanges started, and Jones still took 3 rounds to finish him (with the 2nd round being somewhat close) 😂, that was an awful fight. The sluggish 42yo managed to land a counter with no timing at all, to the point where Jones had to clinch against the cage 😂, it got him a bruise under his right eye too. Jones is the champ at the moment at heavy weight so yes he does call the shots. Remember that aspinall needs jones, not vice versa. I’m for the fighters especially the veterans so business wise I think it’s smart for jones to fight Alex based on ppv buys.
@@LongJohnnn also if you can respect aspinall as being a interim champ then you should be able to respect jones as a champ in both divisions through his career. If we base this off respect then jones is more than welcome to choose who he fights.
