Heyy!! Be honest, what did you (or didn't you) like about this video? BUT, have you ever seen Simon Cowell break down crying? Watch this 👉 ruclips.net/video/VubpRMC1Ntw/видео.html
How could you not include Courtney Hadwin? She comes out all super shy and you get a feeling its going to be disastrous or like shes going to whisper "amazing grace".. then all of a sudden...its like shes possessed by the the child that would result if somehow Mick Jagger, Janis Joplin, and Little Richard all had a baby together. One of the most rewatched viral auditions of Got Talents of all time!
Is it just me? Years ago Simon seemed very critical and sarcastic to performances. He has seemed so much more sympathetic, supportive, and literally happy the past several years. I could be wrong, but I think his kindness and compassion came through when he became a father. I have become one of his biggest fans over the years. Simon, your happiness shines through!
Have you seen Idol in Africa ? So touching.. he was devastated by the conditions and ended up carrying an ailing mother from her bed to the jeep to take her for medical care .. i fell in love with him then and shortly after that he met his wife
Every time I see her audition, it brings tears to my eyes. The way people treated her, her voice is perfection. The way they snarked, rolled their eyes and made fun of her. It's ridiculous to judge a book by its cover like that. I guess she remains very close to Simon. She had to get out of the limelight because of mental health. She blew up very quickly and that was too much demand for her. I think a family member passed also. When you go from being broke to having money, everyone comes out of the woodwork to start begging you for money. After the show, she was diagnosed with autism. She was finally able to get answers for a lot of things. She was dealing with a lot of stuff. In my eyes, she will forever have the number one audition ❤.

It’s incredible seeing people who have likely often been judged as awkward by the world get the opportunity to let their true inner beauty shine through and their joy when the audience genuinely respond to it.
Father Ray Kelly stole the show with "Everybody hurts." He touched more than the audience in the room. I hope he'll continue singing and record his voice. I'm a big fan.

And the dancing duet, and Simon being so quick on his NO, rather than waiting. The woman is 80 years old, magnificent dancer,in that fast speed tango, a total magnificent surprise. And her partner really helped her to show her magnificent , malleable skills and strength. I was truly in awe , watching her.
Father Kelly's song had me in tears. Christmas Eve, alon e, horrible head cold, and other things raining down. Hold on, Hold on. So encouraging, and , NO, I am not a Catholic. The man has a beautiful voice, and heart
OMG - openly wept when Father Ray sang. What a beautiful performance! So honest and full of emotion. I think everyone who has ever gone through tough times felt he was singing directly to them.
I didn’t cry but it touched my soul and that’s a lot for me. I love that song but I loved the way he sung it. Go Father and please keep singing, your voice is so beautiful.
That R.E.M. song was almost the end of me when I was younger. Hearing this amazing performance and the sincerity with which he said "hold on" really plucked at my heart-strings.
I loved it too! I'm not Christian/Catholic but I have much respect for anyone (in any religion) being very dedicated, devoted and being kind. He was awesome!
A priest hears the confessions of the soul. The song he sang was an expression of his calling to help people find peace in the forgiving mercy of Jesus Christ.
I never get tired of watching Susan taking that smirk off all the faces in the panel and the crowd of all of them.. hope they enjoy their faces when they see it on replay..
As for the kid, I'd have given him a no. I'd tell him that his talent is wasted in a show such as BGT, and that he auditions for The Voice and make albums and so on.
Wow!!!! Father Kelly had me in tears. He is in the right office as a Pastor. That performance carried the weight of all those ppl who have ever sat and confided in him about ANYTHING! Omg!
Just finished watching Emma Jones sing Ave Maria... What a stunning performance in spite of all those nerves! So impressed I looked her up, only to learn she passed away 3 days ago from multiple organ failure due to cancer. She had her whole life before her. I'll never forget you, Emma! So talented, and so so brave!
Zion, thank you for your strength and your courage. Thank you for your positivity, despite having gone through a hellish life. You are a true example of putting mind over body, mind over what wants to keep you back. Bless you, and please do not accept NO for an answer, ever, just keep going. Bless you!
What reached out and touched me is the Father hurts as much as the rest of us do and he doesn't have the gift of a Wife and Children to go home to. He must get very lonely at times. What devotion it must take to spend his life serving God and his congregation.
What bugs me is that the panel always make a big deal out of supporting people who have been bullied, but when Susan Boyle was about to sing they were making faces, rolling their eyes, etc. While that may not be blatant bullying, it is a form of micro bullying. They were basically sneering at her based on how she looked and acted, even though she wasn't being mean or unkind and was perfectly polite. A little odd by most standards, maybe, but polite. And that is how bullying usually starts. People make assumptions about someone based on superficial things and then pick on them or dismiss them or are mean to them. Rolling eyes at someone and smirking, etc., is mean as far as I'm concerned. They don't usually do this, but they ought to check themselves. What if Susan HADN'T been the amazing singer she was/is? They might have continued with their rotten attitude. I'm SO glad she proved them wrong about her in a multitude of ways! Simon did the same thing with his eyes when Eugene the Librarian came out.
Wow, when Father Ray ended his song, I think everyone was a bit mesmerized and emotional feeling the compassion he showed with his voice that's tied to his calling, and this is why there wasn't an immediate applause--everyone was just sitting there soaking it up. I think we all got lost in his beautiful performance. Bravo Father!! Also, loved how Simon stood up when he quickly realized everyone was still in awe but needed to start the applause.
He sang from the depths of his soul and it brought me to tears. I think many sat there wondering who is this man and what pain is so accessible within him. I felt a deep sense of compassion for him and wanted to soothe his pain. 😢🙏 God bless father ray , I hope he has meaningful relationships in his life. Much isolation comes with the collar. While his role is to be a balm to the soul of others, one wonders who soothes his soul and I believe he felt the love in return for his basic humanity that often goes overlooked and unfulfilled. There was an outpouring in those moments of silence of the souls of others who heard him and he was seen ❤
Father Kelly brought me to tears as he looked up at the audience and told them to HOLD ON, because in this life, on this planet he knows well enough that 'Everybody Hurts'. God hasn't forgotten us.
I would actually argue the complete opposite. First of all, I don’t agree that the audience is ever expressing hate or love. I would argue that the audience is communicating, boredom or excitement/interest. Secondly, and most importantly, I would argue that the audience is completely honest. They don’t care about making judgements and are in an environment where giving feedback is the norm. They are unrestricted and then display their thinking in an unfiltered way. I would argue that while judgement is flimsy, it is possibly one of the most honest forms of communication exhibited today.
Susan wiped those smirks right off of Simon and Davids faces. Served them right for judging her. The ladies however knew what was up. Love Susans knowing look, she'd probably been judged like that alot, i too have been judged because of my looks. Now that i gave the judges the what for, at least they could admit they were wrong.
What ladies? There was only one lady, Amanda. Also, David wasn’t even there. Pierce was there. There were on,y three judge. If you’re going to make a comment , at least get your facts right.
Never been this close to crying in a pub. Father your voice your passion for the song was breath taking. That song means so much to you. The emotion was shown through it. I shall get myself a pint in your honour.
Father Kelly had me ugly crying after watching this. He's amazing and if he was in my area, I'd probably start going back to church. I lost my beloved cousin to suicide so this struck home to me. Thank you Father Kelly for doing that song.
Father Ray doesn't have a spectacular voice by any standard. But the power of his delivery and the power of his message was so pure and genuine, it blew everyone away, including me. You could literally hear the rustling of Simon's pants as he stood up. It was the perfect pause. That Simon stood up and was the one who had to snap everyone out of it was that much more special since he was clearly annoyed by Father Ray and just wanted him done and over with at the beginning.
@@tk20channelI absolutely love, Love, LOVE that song, it really hits me to my soul and the words are SO true, I think EVERYONE can relate in some way or another!

Emma Jones, with her magnificent Ave Maria, was already devastated by cancer, when she performed at BGT. She died a few months later. A terrible loss for everyone.
Bless you Emma Jones. I watched this tonight and looked up Emma Jones who sang Ave Maria so beautifully. Devastated to read she died last month after a battle with cancer. Absolutely tragic.
Oh that is sad. She was so young. There is some comfort in knowing she had at least one glorious moment in her life. And from her manner on that stage, her soul seemed as pure and true as her voice. Condolences to the bereaved.
I haven't finished watching yet, but the 80 year old dancer just made me cry a little.. I'm so happy for her, what a beautiful performance and what an inspiration :)
My favorite is Alfie Andrew... he's an incredible singer. He has amazing vocal control for a twelve-year-old. Also really liked Kyle Tomlinson's audition, and Kerr James' audition. Excellent!
Thank You..Everyone Commenting About Father Ray,,Which Was Beautiful…But..This Guy..Is A Gods Chosen Angel..By Rights,This Is A Man I Would Rather Get To Know,Than Father Ray,Just Wow,I 🙏🏻 God Continues To Bless Him🙏🏻❤️🪽
I swear! These children that can sing like that boy Kerr make me believe in past lives. How can you develop talent like that in 12 years? Unbelievable!
Paddy and Nick were awesome. She was not even winded by all those flips. We should all be so fortunate to have a body capable of that at 80 years old! I absolutely love her. And Emma Jones is a force. She has such a clear and sweet voice and her trembling hands just make her so endearing. She does not realize how gifted she is.
Heather is an amazing person not only did she adopt a dog, she adopted a three legged dog, but not only that she adopted a three legged pittbull mix, that is like the trifecta of down trodden dog, but she gave him such a good and loving home you can see it in every move Bogart makes, from his happy eyes and wagging tail.
Yes. Thank you Heather for your love and support of Bougart. He’s a very happy sweet boy and he’s always going to love you. So thank you for caring enough to save him. ❤
Here it is many years after Susan Boyles original audition and I'm struck by what a genuine person she was then and seemingly happy. I hope she is happy today.
You can tell most didn’t watch the whole 2hour video based on comments, but honestly Emma Jones singing Ave Maria is one of the most precious performances ever. Even folks who front as “normal” love these videos because we all know that inside we are all a little broken and we all hope others will also see some glimpse of eternal perfection in us as well. We live vicariously through these amazingly brave people putting themselves up for ridicule or glory.

Every time I watch Susan Boyle audition it still feels like the first time. I know exactly what’s coming and what to expect and I’m still overwhelmed by it and feel like it’s the first time witnessing it. Was one of the the truly all time memorable moments from BGT.
Their reactions to her were so ugly back then before she sang. That always bothered me. Thankful she brushed them off, but she ended up having a breakdown after she got more famous
@@hangtenboy It was set up that way. She wasn't dressed like that back stage, they frumped her up to make her look like that so when she sang it would break expectations. THey succeeded and it went viral around the world. Not taking away from her performance, she sounds amazing.

And the way she gave Simon THE LOOK no man wants to be on the receiving end of from their great grandma! 😅😅😅
Incredible
The silence was more deafening than the applause for the priest. It touched my heart and I teared up… 😢
Absolutely beautiful performance by the priest it touched my soul I couldn't hold back the tears. Well done
Father Kelly's song had me in tears. Christmas Eve, alon e, horrible head cold, and other things raining down. Hold on, Hold on. So encouraging, and , NO, I am not a Catholic. The man has a beautiful voice, and heart
Hope you are ok now. ❤️
Hope things have got better for you in 2024.❤
Hope now if u need a friend. I'm here!! ❤❤❤❤

OMG - openly wept when Father Ray sang. What a beautiful performance! So honest and full of emotion. I think everyone who has ever gone through tough times felt he was singing directly to them.
I didn’t cry but it touched my soul and that’s a lot for me. I love that song but
I loved the way he sung it. Go Father and please keep singing, your voice is so
beautiful.
62 Years old. Me also.
Honestly, yeah. His voice is nothing special techincally but the way he sang it just touches the soul.
That R.E.M. song was almost the end of me when I was younger. Hearing this amazing performance and the sincerity with which he said "hold on" really plucked at my heart-strings.
Yes he Really Did. Touched my heart so so Deeply
The 80 year old woman had such grace and class in all of her responses; just a lovely human.
Love the priest and love when the entire audience stays quiet for a few seconds in AWE. BEAUTIFUL ❤
I loved it too! I'm not Christian/Catholic but I have much respect for anyone (in any religion) being very dedicated, devoted and being kind. He was awesome!
They were spellbound xxxxxxx
A priest hears the confessions of the soul. The song he sang was an expression of his calling to help people find peace in the forgiving mercy of Jesus Christ.
I could listen to his beautiful voice forever! 🥰
I never get tired of watching Susan taking that smirk off all the faces in the panel and the crowd of all of them.. hope they enjoy their faces when they see it on replay..
She was the original "surprise audition"... Nothing ever surpassed her to be honest
Me too ❤
Can't stand susan Boyle
Boy that transsexual man got pipes.
Omg!
I just read that Emma passed, so sorry. To see her reaction was heart touching. What a beautiful angel

Oh no! Thank you for sharing, so sad!😔
injection? so sad. she was a sweetheart.
Sometimes it's hard to believe in God.RIP Emma, sing like a angel and fly free
The exact same thing here - I looked her up and read the same (except she passed in mid Feb) 😢
So sad 😞
Zion, thank you for your strength and your courage. Thank you for your positivity, despite having gone through a hellish life. You are a true example of putting mind over body, mind over what wants to keep you back. Bless you, and please do not accept NO for an answer, ever, just keep going. Bless you!
The Priest was singing from all the memories of his life of helping people through the worst times in their lives… the silence afterward- wow….
What reached out and touched me is the Father hurts as much as the rest of us do and he doesn't have the gift of a Wife and Children to go home to. He must get very lonely at times. What devotion it must take to spend his life serving God and his congregation.
he's clearly one of the many holding humanity afloat with his heart
@@dixierae3442that’s what alter boys are for 😊😊
The way people look at some singers disgusts me even the judges. People need to change their mentality and the way they look at each others
Susan Boyle opens her mouth and within seconds I'm crying with a unique blend of joy and sadness. Lots of surprising acts here.
Jun 3, 2024 - Britain's Got Talent semi-finalist Emma Jones has died aged 32 after being diagnosed with cancer, her family have confirmed.
It's nice to be able to hear the song without all the clapping and whooping
Hermosa interpretación del padre....me conmovió la dulzura de su voz y la transparencia de su presencia. Hermoso. Traspasó el alma!!
Bellissima performance...padre kelly saprebbe fare anche l attore ..ne sn convinta
Father Kelly brought me to tears as he looked up at the audience and told them to HOLD ON, because in this life, on this planet he knows well enough that 'Everybody Hurts'. God hasn't forgotten us.
Sure looks like it tho...

Hello 😊
Audiences are so fickle, they can hate you and in the flick of a switch, love you. This really shows the dangerous power of mob mentality.
Absolutely.
Or love you one minute and hate you the next...!
no they are just commanded what to do.
No, This really shows the dangerous power of GULLIBLE people thinking TV is NOT staged...
Susan didn't even care about the judges opinion she knew she is great with a magical voice... That's rare
Never been this close to crying in a pub. Father your voice your passion for the song was breath taking. That song means so much to you. The emotion was shown through it. I shall get myself a pint in your honour.
Why..why are you watching Britain’s for talent clips at the pub?
Father Kelly had me ugly crying after watching this. He's amazing and if he was in my area, I'd probably start going back to church. I lost my beloved cousin to suicide so this struck home to me. Thank you Father Kelly for doing that song.
Father Kelly , Chris and Leahs wedding is hilarious , it's probably what got him invited to audition
I lost my son to suicide on June 5 23! He was 23 years old! 😭😭😭😭😭
I just went through my contacts the other day, just to realize 10 of my contacts were dead and 6 by suicide. It was kinda sad.
Just a reminder for you love!🩷
I pray for you and your family. God loves you and is with you every step of the way🙂↕️😊
Allow me to please everyone watching this video.. Paddy is STILL living her best life at the age of 90!
yay!! i was hoping she was still going strong! a woman with willpower and talent like that isn’t going anywhere anytime soon!! :D
Father Ray doesn't have a spectacular voice by any standard. But the power of his delivery and the power of his message was so pure and genuine, it blew everyone away, including me. You could literally hear the rustling of Simon's pants as he stood up. It was the perfect pause. That Simon stood up and was the one who had to snap everyone out of it was that much more special since he was clearly annoyed by Father Ray and just wanted him done and over with at the beginning.
his voice was pretty damn good 😂 definitely above average
@@peytoncastle1895I know right! Perfect for the song. I loved his performance.
How was Simon annoyed?
The singing priest got the entire audience dead silent. Everyone felt how much he meant that. Really comforting. What a wonderful person.

I swear! These children that can sing like that boy Kerr make me believe in past lives. How can you develop talent like that in 12 years? Unbelievable!
You mean that boy Nick
Paddy and Nick were awesome. She was not even winded by all those flips. We should all be so fortunate to have a body capable of that at 80 years old! I absolutely love her. And Emma Jones is a force. She has such a clear and sweet voice and her trembling hands just make her so endearing. She does not realize how gifted she is.
I was so waiting for "Dev" at the end there to ask Simon, "So Simon. what time shall we be expecting you home tonight?" Cheers!

Yes. Thank you Heather for your love and support of Bougart. He’s a very happy sweet boy and he’s always going to love you. So thank you for caring enough to save him. ❤

The Ava Maria singer was stunning!!!!
The silence following Father Ray was just letting all that magnificence settle.
Here it is many years after Susan Boyles original audition and I'm struck by what a genuine person she was then and seemingly happy. I hope she is happy today.
Like I’ve always said never ever judge a book by their cover every one looked at her like she was stupid and probably was thinking she couldn’t sing
