My mother's side of the family are from a village in Haiti that eats fufu we now know it's fufu but they call it Tom Tomwhich is traditionally made with breadfruit pounded in like a mortar and pestle type of device and served with okra soup that contain dried fish or dried shrimp. It's wonderful to see the origins of our culture
Yes...perfect
Thank you ❤️
woooow
trop bien, je vais en faire !
Merci beaucoup 🙏🏿😘
👌😋👌......Looking great😘
Thank you so much 😘
Wow so amazing
Tha k you Samuel 🙏🏽😍
Now, I’m in love. This is way better than the microwave’s method. I feel like taking some whisky shots and grind my mixture of ginger, onion, garlic and small kpakposhitor before starting to murder my fufu with peanut butter/Groundnut soup! ❤️
Lol! Thank you Enam! I see all the inspirational ideas you’re spilling out 🙏🏽❤️😘😘😘
You are the best.
Thank you 🙏🏾😘
Good morning Chef Nanaaba, this recipe looks amazing I look forward to incorporating the fufu with one of my sauces to experience how it all taste together.

I know right?! 😛 fufu makes you wanna stir the pot constantly so it can carry on with its sticky personality!!!!😂😂😂love you more and my love and greetings to you and the family! 😘😘😘 May blessings headed your way this year and beyond!!!
Sis, I am learning something new from you. I will try to blend some Bananas(Ugandan Matoke) that I bought recently using your method(Raw Blending). However, I will omit the Cassava since we normally don't mix it with Bananas. I am gonna cook it on the Stove. I will enjoy it with Curry Goat🐐🐐
Sound good! Let me know how it turns out! 😍🙏🏿
How did it come out?
This is the best way to cook fufu
Yes madam. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙏🏾

Never had fufu before but I tried this recipe because it looked so easy. Delicious. Can't wait to try some fufu cooked by a real Nigerian so I can compare :)
Fufu is not a Nigerian dish actually,it originated from Ghana so if u want to try out some real good tasty fufu then u better be on your way to your Ghanaian friend's house, Lol 😂😂
Thank you for stove top version
You’re welcome! And that’s for watching and commenting 🙏🏾
Wow I will definitely try this. If it works then I will finally say good bye to fufu flour.
Ben indeed! Fufu powder is a goner 🤣 thank you so much!

I Hear You Saying, Back Home They Utilize The Wooden Mortar and Pestle...But, Here In The Diaspora, It Is Not An Option!....That Is What I Naturally Assumed Too! The Logistics Of Freighting That Heavy Wooden Mortar etc. Then, I Was Invited To A Ghanaian Shindig Some Years Ago, In Florida! My Neighbors 2 Houses Away, Were Surprised To Know I Was Ghanaian...So I Was Invited Over To Dinner...And To My Surprise, There Was The Lovely Lady, Deftly Turning The Fufu, Whilst Her Husband The Host, Used The Pestle!! I Was Blown Away!...They Went Through All That...Cos, The Lovely Hostess Said: "We Have To Feed You Some Real Fufu...You're Too Skinny"!! God Bless Them! Be Well!
Lol 😅God bless the lovely hostess and her family for hosting you! I’d be totally honored to host you and pound fufu the traditional way for you also, without a doubt Wendell! Thank Lbs for sharing this story, brought me to a smile that lasted a while 🙏🏽😘😘
awesome
Thank you Jayson L! Please know your support is very valued🙏🏾💕
Wooooow my sis 👌👌👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿🌹😍💖💞💝❤
Awwww thank you sweetheart 😘🙏🏾💕😍
Your cousin sounds wonderful, but unfortunately we don't have cassava in our region maybe exists somewhere in our country, but l have never seen....your country is land of blessing.....with best wishes from Iran...
You may use potatoes in place of the cassava. Much love and gratitude from Nanaaba’s Kitchen! Please share and spread the love to all our African food lovers in Iran🙏🏾💕✌🏾😍
This looks wonderful!! I love west African food! Thanks for sharing. I didn't know there was a quicker way to do this.
