Im having the same issues started off showing p2097 i just recently changed both o2 sensor and didn't help it now its throwing p2097 and p0017 which is something about the camshaft/crankshaft and i have a small oil leak at the top of the engine i can not figure it out
Thanks Gabe, I just noticed same alarm on my OBD2, the check engine light just didnt go away after a reset. I guess i have to change the solenoids and maybe the position sensor too. Thanks alot bro.
I have the 2.5, my vehicle was shutting off at stop lights. No engine light. I am going to try the solenoid sensors and the camshaft position sensors two of them.
It is 10mm bolt on the solenoid. Also you have it backwards. The intake is on the rear by the firewall. The exhaust is in the front. Yes they are different. The plastic where the electrical connection is made is vanilla color on the intake and black on the exhaust solenoid. While you are doing this always check your intake bolts are tight. There is a TSB from GM for them coming loose on their own. It is plastic so don't go reffing on them. I thin they are 106 inch pounds of torque.
Hai. I have a chev malibu 2013 model. before that.. when driving...when reaching 60.. the gearbox stop working.. have to park aside the road and start engine and drive again.. It automatic running before reaching 60 mph.. anyone have the same problem ? plz share..
