    This is the new gen model. My car was actually turning off when ever decelerated. So at stop lights my car would turn off. It also hesitated when I accelerate.

      I got the p0010 on my 2015 Chevy Malibu it buckles below 1500 rpm when I’m accelerating at a stop and sometimes stalls would you recommend replacing the solenoid or the camshaft sensor

    Great video, but the 2014 Chevrolet Malibu Ls 2.5 has two camshaft sensors. You only showed one in your video, any idea where the second one is located? Help!!!

    I have the same issue! My check engine light came on and I took it by autozone and it was code p0011.. which is the camshaft intake solenoid but like you said the part isn’t easy to find and I wanted to make sure I have the right part. I drive a 2018 Chevy Malibu LT.. and i refuse to pay an arm and a leg for this 🤦🏽‍♀️.. what would be the best thing for me to do?

      I’m assuming your car turns off when you take you foot off the throttle petal as well. If you are experiencing the same things I talked about in the video, take your car to your local Chevy dealership. If your car is still under 100k miles it will be covered under the powertrain warranty

      if it's the camshaft intake solenoid replace the exhaust as well. Autozone they are about $75 each. So I would go to the store and ask for the part number then go to rockauto.com and order the parts. They are usually a lot cheaper.

    • @marcusdewitt2638
      @marcusdewitt2638 3 года назад

      First buy a repair manual. Haynes or chiltons are like $25. The Chevy service manual is pricey at $500, but if you plan to keep the car buying the Chevy manual will help you potentially save thousands in repairs, they contain absolutely everything. Next disconnect battery, read book, fix car.

      ChillinInTraffic the cam shaft sensor is not the same. Your part is available in most local auto part stores though.

      Tony does it all so you said in the video that your intake solenoid was covered under the powertrain warranty... ? Why is mine not ?my vehicle has 65000 miles still under the powertrain 100000 warranty..🤔

    • @boongie51
      @boongie51  6 лет назад

      SAS15G the powertrain covers lubricated parts such as your engine and transmission. But if you. I’ll say replace the intake rock arm to eliminate it as a possible issue.
