    What were the symptoms of the bad crankshaft sensor

      It can be hard to start the car, the RPM doesn't work and sometimes the engine makes a rattling sound.

    What all tools did you use ?

      @francisgarthow1459 7 месяцев назад

      10 MM with extensions and swivels. PB blaster to get it loose, flash lights, padding for your knees because your gonna be on top of the engine. And about 3-5 hours worth of cussing 😂. That's what it took me yesterday and this morning. Don't drop the bolt if you do it's a m6 inch long bolt at the hardware store.

    Hey man would I be able to access it through under the car ?

    • @kavehabedi483
      @kavehabedi483  3 года назад +1

      Yes, but I think you would need to remove the starter and maybe the CV axle to get to it from under the car

      I used a long extension with a quarter inch swivel head socket.
      Once I got the bolt loose I took it off with my fingers the rest of the way.

    Hey did the car had 2 crankshaft sensor only one ? And did you have any code that came up that made you change it?

      1 CRANKshaft sensor code p0335

    My Chevy used to shut off and could cut right back on . But last night she shut off and wouldn't turn back on . I jump her , she can't take complete charge. It will start and shut right back off
    I bought a new battery months back and the alternator is fine
    Do you think this is the issue ? Sometimes the car even rattles and vibrates like it's bouts shut off on me but the rpm falls and goes right back up to the one and jus chills there while I'm idle

    • @kavehabedi483
      @kavehabedi483  2 года назад

      Hi, I’m not sure. You should hook up an OBDII to see if you have any codes first.

      It will most likely be some dam sensor you just gotta figure out one or replace each one!

      No it is not. By far.. it's just as hard getting the starter off imo. I tried from bottom and top.. finally got it from the top after 3-5 hours
