I love Aliyah Boston's speaking voice/stlye. She is so articulate and exact in her responses to questions. Her demeanor is always calm and approachable. I'm also glad that after Clark told reporters ... to respect Aliyah and not to overlook her at press conferences, reporters have done better and engaged other fever players. 👍

She did NOT act like they lost, but she did say what is fact and it's important to keep this team grounded with all the hooplas surrounding their recent successes. Even CC has constantly said so with her reminder: one game at a time. Besides, this game is a big sloppy and messy game in terms of their player's usual capabilities.... so many unforced errors, turnovers, and missed easy shots/open shots/in the paint shots/layups (including CC's easy layups and 3-pt shots).

One of the things that I've really started to appreciate about this Fever team that Sides and Dunn have been working onbuilding is that no two players are super alike.
If something isn't clicking or matching up personnel wise to their opponent in a given game, or moment within a game, they can rotate other solid players off the bench like a Swiss Army knife. The team has a wide range of different challenges and variations they can send onto the court. They are becoming very flexible and good at adjusting over time.

@@gardengal87 hmmm....I love Mitchell after the Allstar break but today she reverted back to her old self most of the game. Mitchell scores at a high % when she gets the ball and shoots! I mean unbelievable the best in the WNBA but when she tries to do it herself the field goal % goes way, way down. I know old habits are hard to break but she doesn't have to do it all now. Mitchell catching and shooting no one is better in the league and she's unstoppable. The hero ball however doesn't work, ugh.

It's a big win at home (important for the fans) along with CC's second Triple Double (which is a huge accomplishment on her part and a great booster for the fans and the team as a whole)... with that said... I say it's a sloppy game with many turnovers, unforced errors, missed shots and missoportunity.
Luckily, (like in all the wins before)... people stepped up when most needed and delivered the crucial scores (and defense) like Lexie, Wheeler, and Boston.
Defense is much much better compared to the start of the season... right along with many missed easy layups, open shots, shots in the paint (including CC's attempts - heck, she even missed her most routinely-easy layup shot!). They cannot go very far in the playoffs if this is the kind of game they're taking to that level.
Overall, this is NOT one of their good games, but they still got the win (by the other team's unintentional contribution of their own mishaps)... imagine what they can do when they are with their full potential and capability in their good games.

Plenty of folks on the team to learn from. Hull’s commitment to forcing a positive outcome on defense is great. Mitchell gets a lot of steals just on pure anticipation. CC can do all that stuff, it’s all basketball IQ.

Yes..that made me happy because thats what I noticed and commented on thier page. She loses her man or doesn't pay attention when they don't have the ball. They get the ball and it compromises the defense when she gets beat and a defender has to cover. It makes for easy baskets for the other team. I definitely noticed this game, she paid much more attention.

I agree that many were too hard on the coach and the other players. There were some unrealistic expectations early in the season, many fans were expecting that adding Caitlin would instantly make the Fever a top team in the league, and when the team wasn't winning, they were frustrated and wanted changes in coaching, management and players immediately.
The team stuck together and has adjusted and become a very formidable team in the league. I think Sides is a great coach. Some may not like or appreciate her style. I think she is good though. The number one thing is they aren't giving up, and they will keep progressing and improving.

It's a good sign that CC is talking like Jordan. Hope she keeps that attitude. 'the fans come out for maybe 1 game, I just want to give them a good show for that 1 game'.

The team is just getting better and better 💯 all the players play an important roll... It's how CC played with the mic 🎤 with her forehead whiles talking.. She's such a humble amazing individual and skilled talented player... And Kelsey is just a Baller no questions...The fever is contagious 💯..

I had never watched a WNBA game before this season. But can’t get enough of this year’s Indiana Fever team. Such a great story! It’s fun to watch these players and grow up and mature in real time.

Wouldn't mind some consolidation, these teams are THICK with staff and management.

The grow of this team is amazing. All players are trusting a lot more on each other. The communication during games, the energy that comes from the bench.....they are all super focus on wining. All players are doing one amazing work, and one person should be recognize on all what is happen.... Christie Sides. I think the Sides as learning a lot....it was not easy but I think she conquer the trust of her players and that is the secret for the recent success. I don't know what will happen on the playoffs, but season is already a huge success. Let's go Sides. Let's go CC. Let's go FEVER

Kelsey is my player of the month. CC is by far ROTM/ROTY.
