Thank you very much..she keeps posting about how much she is improving and doing all the stuff I was begging her to change. I needed a reminder that its a facade, and that she really isn't going to change...much less if she jumped to another man right after me.

@@IamCoachCourt yes you cannot ignore red flags 🚩. Got to deal with it right then and there. I was indifferent to those red flags and she hated it that I do not show any jealousy tendencies. She told me once about some friends of hers, and I showed no interest in that. Now looking back I think he is the one she rebounded with. Wish them luck.
I was a rebound person. It sucked to be used and discarded. I just walked away. Went no contact.

Omg that explains why no contact doesn't work on some people, because they were using us to rebound and were in denial about their feelings towards their previous relationship. They were using us as an ego boost but probably secretly pining for their ex so therefore anything we do wont make any difference no matter how good we were to them. That makes so much sense. Damn, I've almost definitely gone 'no contact' many times in vain. Talk about barking up the wrong tree.
@UNFORGIVABLESENA Lost sleep, weight, and money over it. So it actually cost me a great deal, but yes I'm moving on to someone more mature.

[I didn't even know I was a rebound. I'm discovering this now and it only lasted 2 months. She even offered me a relationship that never materialized. Before that, she had a relationship for a year and a half, and she told me: "I don't even want to remember this relationship!" I was discarded like trash. she's a DA by the way.]

Absolutely, the grieving process sucks, and trying to rationalize their bad behavior to move forward takes so long!
But later you will realize that grief is a blessing.

I agree with you. But when u see he allows his new woman to talk about me then that's when it's a problem. So on that note I focus on me and my goals, to be a better version of what I was yesterday.

Could you do some videos for older people in their 60s or 70s is it the same results for older people with rebounds, or do they stick with the person because they are older. I was 1 year and 4 months since my break up with my DA ex. And His aunt message me this new year and asking about my relationship with her nephew. I told the truth but I didn't tell the details us respecting my ex and his trust with me. The his aunt told me that she wishes for me and her nephew will be together at the end. But I don't give any assurance answer(i hang it there).
Later on I saw my DA ex post quotes saying: Don't force someone to love you, chat with you or talk to you, the right person will find a way to connect with you.
Back then, I break up with him because he stonewall and deactivated with me even after I gave him 2 months of space, while I was in my healing process as AP. Now I am SA and happy with my own life without any romantic relationship though I am entertaining some other guy who I feel Secure.

Great advice, hard to hear when emotions are raw but focusing upon yourself is the best advice. Be the best you can be and the rest will follow. I was needy, ex is in another relationship (hid it for a long time) - it hurt, worked on myself and now I look at all the opportunities that are around me. Not saying we would not get back together, but now I have control over my own destiny. You will get past this. I would recommend the book 'Letting Go: The pathway to surrender' - helped a lot, Coach Court - have you done a review of this, if so what do you think?

Hey Coach Court. Great channel. Do you think one can still do their own healing work, personally, even when in a new/next relationship? After all, no partner is going to be perfect. I like the person enough. They have their work to do - in their own time as they want to... it's not for me to control or demand - and I have mine. If we are both conscious of this, and enjoy our connection and can support eachotehr along the way, could that work too? What do you think?

Oh it matters! my ex setup her rebound weeks b4 our breakup. Been with since the day after and now is spamming social media with new pics all the time and doing nothing but treating me like shit.

What’s your take on arranged marriages? I was engaged to my ex of 3 years a month later he left for Pakistan and broke up with me through Text because he said due to circumstances he got engaged to make his mom proud. It’s been 4 months now and I have not heard from him other then treats of putting me in jail over the fact he believes I’m texting her with I never had.
My ex rubbed her new relationship in my face at our sons wedding. Totally out of character for her. She got drunk(he doesn't drink at all)and was all over him all night. I told her not to contact me anymore but she still does. He apparently has offered to buy her a Lexus and sell his house to pay off hers after dating for 8 months.

I never heard nothing from my ex. but my friend did from his and she will call him. complain or boast about my ex. admitted she has checked his Facebook to see if hes seeing Anyone. I told him stop answering. silence is golden. let people think about their choice's. my friends ex is same way she rubs it in his face. thats not helping anything. happy people dont gotta boast. they go on and its real not an act. shes miserable. I know its hard but go be with friends and so on. let your ex deal with it. if hes so much better then leave you alone. its a tactic to cause hurt. My ex came back, we fell back in love and was about to get back together, she went distant due to having a death in her family then 2-3 weeks later she’s with someone else. Idk if it’s a rebound but to me it feels like it is due to her being confused on what she wanted and her feelings in the weeks leading up to her new relationship
I’ve been handling my breakup bad. She’s blocked Bc she doesn’t want me to hurt and therefore wants me to move on. I’ve talked to family members confiding in them and I know I shouldn’t she’s reached out a couple weeks ago Bc of something I was going through and she wanted to make sure I was ok. It’s been a year and a half now since we broke up and she got with the rebound a little after we broke up. They have broken up on and off. I’m wondering when they will break up and stick. Can you give me reassurance?

@@IamCoachCourt Oh, yeah, my statement was sort of vague, my bad! I had the ex who would ghost, then I'd do NC faithfully, then he'd come back. He "appeared to have this facade" each time he came back that he was doing great, and truly, maybe he was, but then he'd tell me how much was going 'wrong' in his life. Then when I'd boost the morale (again), he'd bounce. I finally told him not to pop in my life again, so anyway, if an ex seems as though he/she/they are on top of it all, pardon the pun, they may not be if they haven't changed their inner selves at all ...

@@lauraa2778 This exact situation just happened to me with my ex. It’s honestly sad because he’s in denial and in a abusive relationship, but he got his ego boost from me then bounced. He’s definitely going to make another comeback. I’m just trying to figure how I handle it next time because I don’t feel like getting used for an ego boost, but I also don’t want him out of my life.

I was w/ my wife for 10yrs (married for 6) she cheated w/ in the first 6 months, we broke up and got back together after 6 months n thought she changed, but nope she cheated again w/ one of co-worker about 4 years ago n got pregnant n try to give me a lame excuse that she wanted a child for “us”, I can’t have kids, so I tried putting myself in her shoes n forgave her again, n she decided to get an abortion anyway, claiming I would hate the child (which it never crossed my mind). 3 yrs went by n our marriage was never the same, we were always fight about everything n anything. Then the pandemic happened n we were home, but also working a lot do to staff shortages I really could do anymore fighting so, I told her we needed sometime apart to think what was best for the both of us. I went to see my parents whom I haven’t seen over a yr do to covid n on the very first day that I left our home, she go w/ yet another coworker. I found out thru social media a couple days later. I tried everything to save my marriage even know I wasn’t the one who fucked it up. I returned home after 2 wks to find that she changed the locks on me, I still tried to reconcile because marriage is very important to me. She told me she needed sometime to think n that she knew she was making an mistake. I thought about moving back up north where my parents are n she asked me to stay which I thought it was a good sign, but she still w/ that person n they are living together since I came back 10 months ago. I gave up hope, I’m still hurting, but I’m also working on myself mentally n physically, I also started dating again, but I know I’m not healed, but I also know I can’t keep torturing myself sitting around for something that may never happen. I love my wife more then anything I gave her my heart n soul 10yrs ago n no girl will change that, but if u ask me if I would take my wife back the ando would be no, even no it would kill me to reject her. It’s time for me to put myself first, second n third. She didn’t change then n I’m sure she never will, but it does sucks to still love her like this.

yeah im the rebound. And I was the reason they broke up. Now we broke up because of his ex.
But I refuse to believe that I didnt matter because I believe him, that he loves me. Its also a difficul situation because we had an affair which was the reason for their breakup and we did so much wrong. So he feels guilty because hes still friends with her and cant commit to me because of his guilt and his feelings that he still has for her.
That’s not love. He doesn’t love either of you. You and his ex should toss him out in the cold and work on healing yourselves.
