- In this video, Coach Courtney Gatlin talks about your ex's rebound relationship, and give you insight on whether or not you're likely to get them back. There are a few different things to consider when you're figuring out the likelihood of it. Personality type, their relational history, and their attachment style is just to name a few.
It's important to understand that everyone is different. When we don't have control of outcomes it can drive us to depression. Work on yourself during the breakup. That's the one thing that's in your control!

me and my ex broke up on Aug 4 2020. she lost feelings for me at the end of august and she been seeing a guy in early september. she told me they wanted a future relationship together and how she’s really happy with who she’s with. she said they both don’t want a relationship right now, but it they are committed to each other in a way and that they are friends with benefits because she didn’t know what to label him as. she even told her family about him and stuff and i feel this was so fast lol. is that technically a rebound or no? when i told her she seems like she wasn’t as hurt over the break up she said she didn’t have time to cry or have a emotional break down and it wasn’t easy getting over me.

@@joebooth3218 well as of today feb 19 i don’t even care if she comes back or not. based on what info she told me about him months ago was a pretty bad impression to begin with lol but i’m pretty numb from the situation. only memories i have are the good ones but they are fading slowly. i been chilling talking to other girls gaining my confidence back and working on me as i should. idk if her rebound has burnt out or not but it’s not my problem. some days i’m like i hope you feel what i felt then i’m like idc. if she wants to see each other again and be together and i accept it that’d be lack of self respect because she’s done some irreversible damage. i’m no saint. i’ve made poor choices as well and learned from it. but overall, i don’t care if she comes back or not. lol if she texts i won’t be a dick to her but it surely won’t be the same. i’m loving how things are right now which is my brain accepting that she will no longer be a part of my life. i feel MUCH better not being attached to anyone cause i care too hard. now it feels like my heart and mind are in sync as it should. 💯
@@joebooth3218 i’ve lost 30 lbs since my break up dude. it was cause i was working out AND was hardly eating (bad combo) and i understand you. i was in the hopeful stage for a very long time..i convinced myself daily she still wanted me back and loved me. but that’s a battle, trying to get your brain to stop having hope for a person you should move on from. i won’t lie to you, you’ll have your days. you’re happy then sad. might hear a song and think of her, it’ll give you mixed emotions. if she’s the one who broke up with you don’t tell her your feelings don’t mention anything about the past. it’ll make you come off as the desperate one and slowly drive her away. i know you don’t really have a choice with you too working together but if you did have the choice, the best thing is to cut all contact. no one can miss you if you’re there. so let her miss you bro. i wish i new that before trying to be friends with my ex. that shit is painful. i felt she used me for emotional support or when things between her and him didn’t go right im just the back up guy. if your ex has moved on very fast and wants to be your friend that’s a sign they want to have fun while you’re still there like a opened door they can just walk right into cause they have access to it. just testing of the grass is really greener on the other side. but in most cases they realized it was fertilized with bullshit and come back lol
Looks like you fellas figured this out already. I get so many comments it’s hard to keep up. I lost 30 pounds too during my anxiousness😒. When you realize your worth and focus on personal development and self reliance, learning how to let go will become easier
@@bryansmith5723 that was so well put brother, I went through a very similar experience although on my end it’s been almost two months since we broke up, I feel much better the past 3 weeks especially and really gotten better towards moving on, how are things now if you don’t mind me asking

I was miserable and felt manipulated that I had to break off My anxious ex to find myself again. Then she went off, dated two dudes and slept with them. Came back to date me, I rejected reconciling for self respect and growth, so she went off date two other men and now she's in a serious relationship with one of them. I felt extremely hurt hearing how 'shes happy' and overhearing mutual friends that I hurt her a lot in the relationship, as if I'm 100% to blame around her insecurities when I had to move mountains just to fit her schedule and validate her feelings 24/7 whenever I'm away from her 🤮

Anxious Preoccupied people will take validation from you throughout the relationship of how wanted they are, how beautiful they are and eventually end up comparing you with their new love interest like how that new person is better than you.....
Men focus on yourself. Owell to women. They aren’t needed,if you feel they are needed you will lose focus on life.

Focus on yourselves, you’re all Kings. If you need to use her leaving you as fuel to better yourself and prove her wrong, do it. Doesn’t matter what your fuel is, good or bad. Just use it.
so basically, if my ex blocks me everywhere and makes it so we have 0 contact... that means he's cutting off any and all feelings he has towards me. he's in a new relationship now, been there for about 3 months. we were together for 2 years. a month after we broke up he found a new man, then blocked me everywhere. what i've learned from videos like these, is he isn't over me. he is simply filling the hole that i left when i decided to end things. i definitely regret the breakup, as it was heavily manipulated by my family. i've been stuck on him for nearly 5 months now. my intuition is telling me he'll find his way back to me. not gonna let that stop ME from being a better person, not gonna let it hold me back from the possibility of a new relationship. but he'll always have a spot in my heart.
i know how he works, he's been in and out of relationships since middle school. ours was the longest we have ever had. it was real, it was perfect. my own insecurities led to the end of us. again i very much regret it. but i'm holding onto this small little bit of hope i feel in my gut.
Pfff in your situation u just got to give that time that mf will be back at some point from what you have out here. Even when it seems farfetched believe me that guy will be back!

I thought my ex was all happy. They got married in only couple months together and bought a house. Found out from her mom and even my ex texted me that she has been very depressed and made a mistake! Don't think for one minute your ex is happy. It's just pretend. Your bring thought if by your ex every day!
Update? I was with my ex for 2 years and she left me for a guy she didnt even have a week of knowing. It's been about 6 weeks and I'm still heartbroken.
How you know shes happy? You can read her mind? Fact... She is thinking if you constantly!! And most likely not happy. Its a new relationship so it may seem fresh for her but will get stale

Me and my ex were a month or 2 from getting married and having a kid. We were together for 3 years. It ended with ugly words. She has an avoidant attachment style and has never gone back with an ex. She jumped into another relationship about 6 weeks after we broke up. But I also know she was grieving our loss even while we were still together. She is good at blocking out her feelings and "moving on". Any thoughts? Its been about 7 months now.

@@3lewi She's gone like a fart in the wind. Probably will marry the new guy. I doubt I would want her back now, but still hurts to be left like that. Makes you feel worthless when they just grab the next guy to meet their goals with. But she's definitely gone. I think there is a window where they can come back, but once that's past and all feelings are gone, there's nothing left.
My ex gf wanted to be my friend after the break up. We dated for a year. And she dumped me. A month later while she was my friend she was looking for new person. She one day a month after the break up she says she’s completely over me doesn’t love me anymore and blocked me on everything because she said she has friends now. When will she come back.. I want her back I’m not unblocked 3 days after she did this.

Focus on you and feel everything you need to feel emotionally. Allow yourself to get mad and sad. But leave her be. You have to.

Coach, me and my ex broke up this year in February after a 2 year relationship, 6 months post break up she’s now with another guy. Is that considered a rebound? I’m still healing and thinking of her non stop even when tell myself I’ll be fine without her, i do miss her a lot but I’m kind of accepting that she’s not returning to me. I don’t know how to stop thinking of her or things we did together, mentally I’m not there to talk to other girls, just her. I know it’s a simp thing but she was like a needle in a haystack to me and i feel like no one can replace her or take her spot no matter what and that’s a fear for me if I decide to move on in the future and if she tried to talk to me while im with someone else.

You'll be fine... don't worry about what's normal or not. When my first ex and I broke up, it took me over 2 years to want to date again. My second girlfriend passed away and it took me over 3 years to feel ready again. There's no right or wrong... the fact that you're taking this time to heal yourself before entering into a relationship tells me you're a good person. Continue to heal, and you'll know when you're ready. You may not even realize how much you're actually healing until the day you're fully healed and ready again. You got this!

Do you think this still applies if my ex asked for a break, ghosted, I reached out to clarify if he meant break up a month later, and when he didn’t respond I sent a closure text three days later, then we exchanged belongings? Now 10 days no contact - 45 days since “break.” He’s been hooking up with an old hook up the past couple of weeks as a rebound.

I wish there was a video on the courting phase with a dismissive avoidant. Every video is about your “DA ex”.But we all know that DA’s take an extended time in the time before actually committing ( like 7-8 months or longer).What if an anxious person has gotten triggered during that time and the DA took space, will they come back around?
