Man I've never been this gutted my whole life. Left me at the lowest point in my life, having family and financial problems and she dipped. Came back a year later telling me she still loves me, then a month and a half later she's with someone new. Now she is all over social media posting her new guy, doing things I've always wanted to do with her but cant, because im in medical school. Dedicating songs to him that I used to sing to her and shit... Have no choice but to be happy for her, but I'm hoping one day someone better comes along in the Lord's due time. 🙏

Majority rebounds are usually all about sex, they not looking for it to last, they just really having fun because it's something new

My ex dropped me so fast. He was online in 24 hours. Even his ex wife is shocked how fast he moved on. In my opinion, if it was that fast, it was happening during the relationship.

Oh, for sure. It's tragic. My ex-wife asked for a divorce back in April. 5 days later, she was in an apt. 1 month later, she was already telling our 12 year old son about someone she was talking to. I would later find out she was talking to this person she met online when she was atill in the house.. Phone records indicated she started phone calls about a day or 2 after she asked for divorce. When I confronted her during mediation, she said she cheated. She denied it, saying it wasn't cheating because she had already asked for divorce. It was unbelievable. I would also find out during last summer that he was 19. She's gonna be 37 this July. I have been having a hard time with not viewing the whole thing as grooming.
Typo...I said she cheated. Also, I believe 💯 that she was already talking to this kid before she asked for the divorce. I have never been more aware of certain behaviors as I am now.

The best thing you can do is focus on yourself and allow yourself time to heal. You can’t make someone want to be with you. And if they come back it will be when their ready.
My ex got with this guy after 3 months after our 2 1/2 yr relationship. I tried getting back with her after the 4 months. She told me she was with this guy but she still broke up with him and started something with me. But after 2 months she went back with him. She told me she loves ne but likes him. She likes what he is doing for her. I’m healing right now.
It's highly unlikely your ex is going to tell the rebound that they still have feelings for you or that they are healing in any way. They're not going to say anything that reduces the chance of them having sex with this person, lets face it. They will probably lie about how long you've been broken up and totally minimise the relationship altogether.

Mine is using him to get over me and supposedly he talks with her about all her problems - she has outsourced dealing with everything to him - he set up a new life for her in a foreign country with him right of the bat, he listens to her all the time, buys her everything, pays for everything etc. No care in the world, that she just got out of the longest relationship of her life.
Yes I agree with this the ex will stay quiet about their previous long term attachment partner so as not to frighten the new rebound off. If they do know about it the breakup then the new rebound has antisocial personality traits and is grabbing at the opportunity of the exes loss generally to take sexual advantage of them in their vulnerability

More than 60% of conventional, traditional NON-rebound relationships don't even go the distance (see divorce rate). So, a rebound relationship basically stands no chance of survival. If your ex jumped into one of these, work on yourself and let it go through its cycle. It when begin to crumble after 6 months to a year if not sooner. Then your ex will either monkey branch again or start breadcrumbing you depending on how their perception of you changed over that time. You either take them back or have moved on. If your ex is in a rebound, you are in a win/win situation. It may not feel like it, embrace the stated facts and believe.
How is it possible that my ex is still with the rebound 2 yrs and a half after leaving me? He came back a few times and pretended he was single so we got close again, but as soon as i found out he was still with her i ghosted him 6 months ago.. but yeah even tho he was pursuing me again their relationship is going strong.. they’re still together for 2 yrs now, it’s not fair! @@DianaVanessaful He may have come back to you just make sure you're still an option and then returned to the new one. I wouldn't let him back again until he's truly single and says he's committed-maybe don't take him back at all and try to move on. Good luck

I now have met a wonderful kind man and his son and this wonderful man has shown infinite strength, love and support for myself and my daughter and I feel honoured to have him and his son in my life ❤

My ex reached out to me before meeting the rebound (I was NC.). He continued to reach out at the very beginning of the rebound, I again continued NC but always responded politely. He stopped reaching out for a maximum for 28 days, they moved in together, I I have said nothing to him about it, now, he’s reaching out more frequently and has started mentioning meeting up. His rebound doesn’t know anything…
The best rebound video, all the reasons you mentioned happened to the ex narc. His rebound is based on lust when I discarded him and he fell for the first thing that showed him interest. Idolised her for about few weeks then the cracks started to show. She found out he ìs abusive and he found out she is a gold digger. Match made in hell. She thought 🤣 he had left me for her and had found a treasure only to find she had bagged trash.

I sort of feel like this could be same with my ex...I never knew she wanted somebody to buy her everything and pay for everything like he is doing now the first week they were together. And he sure has to have narcissistic tendencies from what I know of him (threatened to kill himself because of her before, even though she was in a relationship with me and he known her for a few weeks only and now is totally love bombing her from the day one) .... I thought she was the one, but maybe I just dodged a massive bullet....
If the ex shows once or twice during no contact while in the rebound, that they want contact with u and u decline the friendship politely, they will come back, time is crucial😄

I needed this! My ex told me, after we had started chatting friendly (which sometimes ventured into flirty/spicy), that he was seeing someone but it wasn’t serious. I dont care that he’s saying it’s not serious; the “I’m seeing someone” part is what made me tell him I’ll leave him be. Going on two weeks no-contact with the only interaction being a laugh react from him on a Facebook comment.

Bro, you are so right! I followed you for sometime and have actually delve deeply into attachment theory. You said something that was so deeply accurate. After two years an ex who I was deeply in love with and she was deeply in love with me, broke up with herfiancé. This occurred exactly at the two year mark. And I truly believed that their relationship after our relationship was extremely rocky.
My ex ended it because I was needy and didn't give her the space she needed...the rebound is already there. Time to focus on the man in the mirror.

I'm sorry this happen to you. But know that just because they're married, doesn't mean they're happy. If it hasn't already, that spark will fizzle out in due time and he or she will eventually cheat. This is the pitfall of marriage. Most spouses fall victim to complacency, they get too comfortable. At that point, the marriage becomes monotonous and boring. This compels one to seek excitement elsewhere.

@@IamCoachCourt I keep watching you and many others, it's been 6 months. I'm still in my rumination stage, no c9ntact and stone walling, because we work in same department. She monkey branched and I'm in monk mode, I can't wait till it passess into oblivion... hard when you work with.... but I do like their attachment style... dissmiss and avoid.... I have a feeling il be making a list for her of all the coaches I watched and saying to her you got six months min to be alone. But I am hopping I made it where when her nostalgia kicks in..... itl be hard for her to approach... but hoping she won't. With all that I learned and the social gossip at work... I don't wanna talk to her. Her soul is bad medicine.

Was in a relationship for 10 years 5 months ago I was talking to my girlfriend all day when I was at work got home to find out that she moved all her stuff out called her up we got into a argument so I'll let it die down for three weeks after the three weeks I when to her house and found out that someone was living there with her

My ex was in a rebound within 30 dys and his rebound was out her relationship the same mth they were each other rebound currently still together going on 4ths now.

What if your husband moved towns but also in with the coworker he monkey branched to within 15wks of separation from you? What are the chances? It seems rather permanent to me. It seems like he would try to make it work. He hasn't done any healing or being by himself all while I'm heartbroken. They are travelling together and everything which is what he wanted to do but I was up until recently, chronically ill. He is doing all this with her. It is because she was ready to go and i was trying to get better. She is definately desperate for a bf and because they showed each other attention, they went for each other after emotionally cheating. She knew about me and stole him from me without remorse. I also think he is going through a midlife crisis and wanted excitement, validation, ego boost, instant gratification etc. They were shagging within weeks of me leaving. He dumped me though. Will he ever come back to me? Will he realise how important i was being his wife?
The saddest is when they keep the rebound in shadows after 6 months. It’s like having a mistress that your friends and family disapprove. Don’t want to be in her place 😢
My wife became very difficult and argumentative towards me. To a point I ended it because she wouldn't talk to me properly. She then used me ending it against me constantly. Making it look like I'd forced her I kept telling her she had the choice and she could talk to me
I feel it was her way of consenting herself into a new relationship.
It wasn't long after I started seeing things that told me she was doing stuff and hiding it.
Three or four months later I asked her she at first argued then confessed she was seeing someone but then went onto saying she hadn't slept with anyone while we lived together

It appears that she's trying to keep me on side and actually keeping us both seperate from one another.
We had a photo taken with the children at Christmas I put it on show in her house. She moved it out the way.
She spends time with me and the kids texting and twisting her phone away from my vision so I can't see.
I've reached a point where the pain has pretty much gone now.
She can do as she pleases...I just feel sad for my children they cry when I leave and attack my wife kicking and punching her
I tell her you do know how this is affecting the kids.
She looks at me blankly she knows....but her head is in bed with another man regardless of the carnage this causes to our three children
It's the devil's work and shame on the man who walks in and tries to break up a family also
Literally the same situation brother. Best thing to do is walk away and let it play out. Misery loves company and it’s unfortunate for the kids, but they’ll truly know what their mother is like.

Exactly my x. He was already planning his exit. I don't know maybe multiple relationships at a time why he had a replacement already before he broke up with me. But I'm glad he did broke up with me because I still holding on even though I'm hurt already because he said he is afraid of abandonment yet he was the one who abandoned me. I was traumatized but at the same time I am glad we broke up.

This type of behavior is called Monkey Branching, amongst other things. Look it up. You’ll probably gain some deeper insight into the root of it. Be grateful that you’re not that type of person. It shows immense strength on your part. Sending you hugs & much love. It takes time, but the more you stay away, the more you’ll become the best you, & really be ok hanging with yourself, bc ur cool like that! ❣️
Yep, that sucker didn't mind she was in a relationship with me 5 yrs ago, he then threatened to kill himself if she left him (she came back to me, nothing happened), now that we broke up after 8yrs together, she jumped straight back into his familiar arms, supposedly he is now reformed - yeah reformed my ass, he didn't waste a minute to lure her to him when she was the most vulnerable she has ever been and made her move in with him 3 weeks after the break up and bought her an entire new wardrobe and then another two or three weeks later they got engaged - she asked him supposedly..lmao... like what? I am crushed ofc despite being the one who ended the relationship, that I wanted to save, but couldn't and now she is doing this and that guy? It's like which one of them is more desperate? who over invests like this into somebody they've known for a few weeks? It's crazy... she's like a totally different person now... I can't believe what a person that I've known since high school and been with for 8 years could do....

You say a rebound relationship last or definitely hits problems at two years. What do you feel is the minimum amount of time. I'm guessing my opinion is three to six months. My ex jumped into a relationship fairly quickly with a coworker of hers. He is separated with two kids and his separation was fairly recent as well. I was like wow this guy really? Anyhow the main question is what do you feel is the minimum amount of time a rebound relationship goes?

My ex wife monkey branched to a guy who has a load of baggage and apparently fell in love with him within 4 weeks, we had been together 18 years. Their relationship lasted 3 months. I'm now finally in a great head space and preparing for our divorce and I think the reality of it all has now hit her after the limerance for him wore off. Stay strong people, this stuff really hurts but it does get better and if they chose someone over you then they don't deserve your love
My ex wife has been with her rebound a year now.
Well guess what in my opinion still not enough time. I know for you it might feel like it's forever but it's not. My brother got into a rebound relationship right after his ex fiance cheated on him. It lasted almost 2 years. He broke up with his rebound about a month ago and he's not planning to be with anyone soon. I told him he needs to heal himself first. Deep down in my heart I know he's still hurting.
I might add that within the first few days of him telling me he wanted to 'see other people' and us separating, he was on tinder. It's like he can't be alone. He needed to get into a relationship instantly and now he is moving in with the coworker he monkey branched to. She was staying in my bed for weeks after i left and he is staying at her place while they are currently moving him out of our marital home. He is moving 60km away to the next town where he works at the job I GOT HIM.

My ex girlfriend was married 26 years prior to our relationship. She was divorced a year before we started dating. I was her first relationship after the divorce. We dated for a year and half.
Five months after breaking up with me, she started dating her current boyfriend.
So... would you consider me the rebound or her current boyfriend the rebound??
I can relate to your situation. Mine’s a little different, but similar in that I realized that my ex hadn’t fully processed, taken responsibility for, or healed from his divorce before me. We dated for over 1.5 years, and he abruptly broke up with me on the phone when he was very emotionally shutdown with very little conversation. I’ve realized he’s very avoidant and possibly has some narcissistic traits as well.
Within two months of us breaking up, he jumped into another relationship, and five months later got engaged. His son was also killed three months after we broke up. He’s running from his pain, not dealing with anything, and pretending everything is great.
I think rebound relationships are determined by someone’s emotional state rather than by time. I absolutely think my ex used me to distract himself, even though it had been longer, and this new relationship is absolutely a rebound, because he didn’t deal with the end of our relationship. In fact, he now has his marriage/divorce, our relationship, and his son’s death, all piled up. So it’s even worse now. Some people can just jump from one rebound to another if they never deal with the end of their relationships, regardless of the time in between. Obviously the chances of them healing are greater with more time, but not necessarily.
I think both of you are the rebounds. It's possible for someone to rebound with multiple partners just to try to get over that one ex which in her case is her ex husband.

We've broken up for 14 months. We broke up on 10/21. We kept in contact for a couple months after our break. However in Dec, we had a huge argument and we said horrible things to each other. I immediately apologize for the things I said.
We didn't communicate for several months after the major argument. We reestablished communications in April 2022 and she informed that she was dating but we could be friends. Like an idiot, I agreed to be her friend.
Shortly after I informed her that I couldn't be her friend. But I will be in contact with her to return her stuff that she left at my house.
In July 2022, I tried calling her regarding her stuff but she blocked me. I emailed her but she wouldn't reply. So...from July to Sep I tried contacting her but she wouldn't respond.
In Nov, I sent her a Happy Thanksgiving card. She replied to the card three weeks later via emailed. In the email she thank me for the card. Then we started to email each back and forth.
On Christmas Day, she text me Merry Christmas. Remember she had me blocked since July.
In Jan 2023, she sent email regarding her stuff. I replied with, "If you wouldn't to contact me regarding your belongings call me. I'm no longer will be communicating with you via. Don't worry I will never call you while you her dating another man, but feel free to call me!!"
I sent that reply almost two months and she hasn't replied back. LOL LOL
Just ridiculous, but it's all good. I'm dating again. I wish her the best.

Mine said the same thing when I found out he was cheating on me with her. He justified it by saying he "was leaving me" when he decided to start cheating. Anyways he wound up leaving me and my kids after 15 years. Less than two months later he said he missed me and couldn't trust her.

My ex is heavily traumatized and monkey branched onto him because he is the closest she can find that resembles her initial abuser from when she was a child. I literally got thrown away for something like that. That rebound aint gonna life long

What if your ex friendzone you. You stupidly agreed to be friends during that time months after the breakup and leading you on they found someone new?
“I never agreed to friends”, but she never mentioned it or gave me any reason to know I was there. She cried when I told her if you have a boyfriend I’m out and begged me for days to stay. Two months no contact now. If she sees me as a friend I think there is no way out.
Shes manipulating you. Crying? She’s wants everything her way. You’ve cut her off- leave her alone. She sits with the decisions she’s made. Don’t make the break up easy for them

Went through a similar situation. My ex broke up with me and wanted to remain friends. I agreed to this thinking it would help rekindle our relationship. 2 weeks post breakup she is in a new relationship and posting him all over social media (but couldn't post me when I was with her). When I found out she has a new man, I blocked and removed her on all social media. She reached out to me and called me childish for blocking her and I can't face the fact that she has a new man and has a connection with him. I told her a friendship isn't on the cards for me, she has a new man, and we have history, so I'm not meddling in someones relationship, and I am moving on. I blocked her again and never looked back. It's been tough, but since cutting her off in totality I have realized a lot about her, and myself, and I'm glad she showed me her true colors, because I was blinded while being with her.
