I sent in a I-485 but it was sent back in that package i accidentally put no on 17 but yes on 16 how will this affect but there was a lot of errors we filled out on this I-485 but we are now sending in a new one with correct info

I originally entered the U.S. on an F1 visa, and my I-94 from CBP website indicates an expiration date of 'D/S.' However, I've since changed status to H1B, and my latest I-797 Approval notice specifies a hard expiration date for my I-94.
I'm uncertain about which expiration date to use when filling out the form: should I go with the 'D/S' date from my initial entry, or the expiration date provided on my H1B approval notice? Additionally, when completing the 'Immigration status on Form I-94' field, should I indicate the status I held when I last entered the U.S. or my current status as per my H1B approval?

A) I worked at Doordash and paid Tax for it (legal).
B) I worked as an Uber, Lyft, and Amazon driver (illegal but I'll pay tax for them)
(My visa is F-1 student)
So is it self employment or what should I write on the form? And What about employment address for them? Should I write all them or Separate each one?

Hi Kseniya, me and my spouse is finishing up the concurrent package with your video. But the new price change on April 1st scared me. Is filing date the date we sent our package or the date they received? I'm so scared because I don't want the package sent back.

1.I am filing for both my parents concurrently . Can I leave space blank or should i write N/A at places where it does not apply? So it will be a mix of N/A's and some blanks. Please let me know
2. I am currently in the process of filling out multiple forms concurrently for my mother, who is residing in the USA. I would like to clarify the total fees required to be sent to USCIS for the following forms:
Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative
Form G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance
Form I-864, Affidavit of Support Under Section 213A of the INA
Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, including Form I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record
Form I-131, Application for Travel Document (Travel Authorization)
Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization (EAD)
Could some please HELP to provide the total fees required for these forms and clarify whether the payment should be made using just one check covering all forms or separate checks for each form? THANKS

USCIS finally returned my package to me after 2 months. It had to be returned because my payment didn't go through.
I know I will have to exchange a few pages (for example, I came on a K1 visa but now I am out of status on I-94, meanwhile wheh I initially sent my package I was not, so I'll have to change that), but the rest could definitely be reused, such as IRS statements etc.
Is it okay to send them some of newly printed papers and some of the same ones I sent first and they returned? My whole package has numbers printed on bottom of all the pages.
So should I just reprint everything because they'll have to put new numbers?
@@user-ht2wf6lm8x you can reuse your evidence but do not mix and match pages on the actual forms. If you have to make a correction just print out a new form. Also double check that your forms still have the same edition dates at the bottom as on the USCIS site.

I have a question - I entered the USA 9 years ago on an F1 visa. Since then that passport has expired and I have a new one. Also, I am now on H1-B visa. I have not traveled internationally since then, so my I-94 still has information from the F1 visa. On the I-485 form, should I enter the details from my original I-94 form or should I use the I-94 from the I-797A of my H1-B? Thanks in advance!

My American born husband has 2 adult children, do I list them as step children ? Also, I won a place in the DV lottery in 2021, lodged a ds260 but never got called for interview due to COVID. My application for immigration therefore wasn't made in Australia as such, should it still be listed in the 1485 or somewhere else in my AOS application ? I don't have a 'case number'.

For Part 8 Eligibility/Inadmissibility first question if I was ever a member of a society .. So when I was in high school I was member of the National Honor Society which you get in, if you have excellent grades, show leadership, service and Character.. so should I answer yes to that ?

Hello Kseniya I hope all is well, I’m trying to apply for adjustment of status but I lost the passport that I used when I last enter the country and it’s something that it’s asked to provide in the application. I tried retrieving from my consulate it but they don’t keep those records.

I got my I - 94 After I won asylum.
Basically what my I - 94 says is USCIS ASYLUM STATUS Granted Indefinitely JAN 04 2024, 'IJ Grant'
And back page says 'ASYLUUM GRANTED BY IJ ON : JANUARY 4, 2024'
Port, Date, Carrier, Flight No, are all empty.
So what do I write in 26.b , 26.c , 27?

Even if you entered on a visa waiver you can obtain your I-94 online or by contacting CBP

If your Visa is on an old expired passport, and in your recent arrival you entered with your recent one, but the Visa is on an even older one, should you still fill that? because it wants the Visa from the passport you entered with and that's not the case
In the question 17 if I overstay after my humanitarian parole terms expiration but I applied for asylum, should I choose yes or no? Or it will be explained in the question 23 where I also have to choose yes?

In the section Recent Immigration History. The passport I used in my last arrival is not the same where my visa is , so should I still input my visa # there or not? Thank you in advance
@@anaromerov I assume you have to put the number of the passport you submitted for inspection on your last entry, even if the visa is on an older, expired passport. This is because that number is the one associated with your visa on your last entry, not the expired one.
I am the petitioner I received I-797C form with my A number. My mom is the beneficiary and didnt got A number in the Form

When filing the I-130 online, is it sufficient to send a copy of the online I-797 receipt with the paper I-485, or must it absolutely be a copy of the 797 paper version that is sent by USCIS in the mail? 1. Usually the issue resolves in a few days. It’s a common issue unfortunately
2. Potentially - if you don’t have an option to upload additional documents or “add a sponsor” you can always bring all the necessary joint sponsor documents to the interview

Because that’s Canada you have to put the place of arrival on US soil where you had your passport checked

While filling out the form some fields must be filled automatically just like in the video, but it doesn't happen in my document. Moreover, I cannot put any information in those fields (for example, A-number on the secod and subsequent pages), Has anybody met the same problem? I have MacOS, Adobe reader.

Hi kseniya! I need your help regarding on filling up my name I do have confusion. In the Philippines we used to have second name and our middle name is our mom’s maiden name. In the US is different. I am planning to fill up all forms with my first name including my second name and my middle name is my maiden name and last name my husband’s. It will be confusing to the USCIS if i have 2 names written on First name and use my maiden name as my middle name? Thank you!
