They were probably paying HUGE amounts of money to begin with for insurance. Now, they can rebuild to watch it go up in flames again at some point. It's like people who build on the Southeast Coast and don't think a hurricane will hit or damage their home. In another few years, you won't be able to get fire insurance in a large part of CA and other states and no wind damage coverage on the Southeast coast. It's just way too risky for insurance companies.
Thank you for sharing🙏 I Truly appreciated our policemen and women and our firefighters who came to save the people, not one life was lost from this tragic fire🔥. In addition, all the families pets are saved by the Our Orange County Mission Viejo animal rescue center🙏👷🏻♂️👮♀️. In the grace of God, I know our neighborhood will build backup and thrive again🙏🙏 Sincere thanks again for many brave firemen, police men and women came for the rescue🥰 🙏👍🇺🇸
One of Southern California’s biggest problems is people with more money than brains. Meanwhile somewhere in the Berkeley hills there’s a large herd of goats being used as fire prevention while they happily eat the underbrush.
The roofs are made of tile and they are fireproof. These fires started from the inside of the homes. Also note that none of the foliage around the homes is burning just the structures and vehicles. Something doesn't add up.
the bravery and pure strength of firefighters is beyond me especially after going through basic firefighting training through the maritime institute... unbelievable bravery. so grateful for these heros.
Well done, as it shows what residents and firefighters faced. I wish you would delete and block the people make such cruel and thoughtless comments. Retired firefighter.
The chaparral plant species only regenerate after fire, either through the ability to sprout vegetatively, or through fire-related cues that enhance germination. Chaparral is the most fire-prone plant in North America and is the vegetation you see here surrounding all these homes.
The theory about arson is interesting... the homes all ablaze inside with rooftops made to resist fire... and brush not ablaze like normal fires. The fires are inside the homes
Highly doubtful. It’s the winds. 2017 Sonoma fire. 4500 houses. Poof. I was in the middle of it saving friends. Been doing construction 30 years. Winds make fire funny. All it takes is fire to get in the side vents of a house. Burning from the inside out. And things like houses burned but cars or trash cans not touched. Wind again. We all know fire can make it’s own weather. And hot embers flying on roofs or slide in a small gap. But a big issue is tree huggers as I say. Every area must have fire defense and a way for trucks to get to areas.
Don't take enjoyment on this. Regardless of their economic status. Most of those people could be folks you would probably never think would be great influences in the world. Best to humble yourself and pray 🙏 for them. Someday you may need the same help and find out their is a person like you taking enjoyment on a disaster YOU never expected. John:3:16.
@Moderator Hater can they even get wildfire insurance? My guess is they aren't covered because it was an act of god. That's why there's always a rush to find someone to blame and usually the arsonists don't have a pot to piss in. Add in the fact they have not managed their properties to help prevent this, I'd guess the insurance companies will be giving the middle finger salute. The federal government has been on California for decades to change their management practices, at some point enough is enough. Maybe the state will bail them out? I know taxpayers shouldn't be footing the bill but 90% of the time we do. Federal disaster declaration let's the money flow... Is rebuilding these multi-million dollar mansions wise use of federal or state disaster funds?
Fuck it. A shit load of millionaires homes got cooked, let 'em burn. Did they or have they done anything to help those whose homes were lost in previous fires? I sincerely doubt it.neighbor hood of hard working, just trying to make a living my heart would feel different. And yep some insurance companies are going stir crazy right about now.
Sounds like a campfire. Looks like Hell
Maybe God is showing us where we are going
Something tells me some insurance companies pissed someone off.

Imagine spending all that money on a house just to see it burn

Was the view worth it?
Need fireproof roofs

😢😭💔Oh my gosh those poor firemen and owners of those properties!
the bravery and pure strength of firefighters is beyond me especially after going through basic firefighting training through the maritime institute... unbelievable bravery. so grateful for these heros.

This was a 50 x 50 fire. There is no excuse for this not being contained.
Why didn’t do back fire on that hill?
Weird how only the houses are burning and not the foliage.
DEW
Why are the houses burning from the inside out and the trees are not. Kind of odd don't you think.
DEW
Insurance cancellation. Notices will be sent out to homes in brushfire prone areas
So this started at a homeless encampment?
News mentioned fire started along the trail...are homeless camps anywhere nearby or derelict power lines?
There’s no homeless in Laguna Niguel. They ship them all out to North Orange County cities like Santa Ana or Anaheim.
No it started next to a water treatment facility.
Wow! 🇨🇦
..some seriously DEAD SOULS in this thread.
If you rebuild there put in "Fire Monitors" on the cornerstones
Looks like these expensive houses are made of paper instead of bricks and steel.
This is what happens when you do not use brush management I do not feel sorry for those tree-huggers LOL Nature's brush management
Orange County Register misspells Niguel, amazing.
Hey, they're all staffed with "immigrants" now. What else would we expect?
This is crazy.
What a miserable place to live

Those weren't their only homes...
If I hadn't been treated as subhuman by rich people my whole life, I wouldn't be enjoying this so much.

@@ArtMonkey5150 Yea sure. They vote republican to show how non political they are.
This is an inside government job. Who's houses are those? Houses burning like this not-normal. Couldn't deceive a child.
check out the melted cars in other videos with palm trees and other plants nearby untouched, same as Paradise, CA. DEW all the way.
Time to get a real fire dept
I don’t really care…do you?
👏🏽👏🏽👌🏽💪🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽
This is one of the richest areas in the country, if this could happen to them it could happen to anyone. Anyone that lives near a fire zone

I suppose taxpayers will be footing this bill too? Start managing your properties to prevent this crap!

Grabbing popcorn and ready for the conversation between these white people and the insurance companies.
