Is that hub something I can add to my computer or is there an easier way for me to hook this up? Thanks for any help and advice you can give me
the motherboard connection should be standardised so you can get something like this www.amazon.co.uk/Rivo-Motherboard-Extension-Converting-Connector/dp/B07Z89SBVY/ref=sr_1_9?crid=1OMKMTQ9M3ZUF&dchild=1&keywords=internal+usb+splitter&qid=1617226854&sprefix=internal+US%2Caps%2C159&sr=8-9

just so u know u can also change your Internet Router settings and make it so you can separate the 5ghz and 2.4ghz wifi signals that way u can just connect to what one you want i fined this much more useful and it works across all devices + 5ghz has more speed and the 2.4 has better range so u can just pick what one to connect to depending on what your doing
yes that can be really useful depending on your needs
Do you need the cable in order to get wifi?
No just Bluetooth
Is this wifi card a good choice for a gaming pc?
yes it is
Thank you sir !!! Simple instructions.
You're welcome!
My four year old AS Rock X99 motherboard came with BT 4.0 installed and I just want to upgrade to BT 5.0. The Wifi works well enough.
QUESTION: Would I do well to replace the module as opposed to simply plugging in a BT 5.0 USB dongle?
ALSO, Do I need to uninstall the current BT references from the Device Manager before installing the new dongle? Thanks
you should be able to first disable the onboard one then reboot and then shutdown and add the new usb one
@@mikesunboxing Thanks for the info. As it turns out, All I needed to do was go to the basement, find the motherboard carton, open it, get the two small antennas I had never screwed onto the back of the PC, attach both of them and whammy... lots of sound in my new Soundcore earbuds.

Im building my first pc and have the Gigabyte B550M DS3H mATX and im going to put my gpu in the pcie x 16 but i do not think there is enough space to put the wifi card in the pcie x 1 slot underneath it is it possible i can out it in the pcie x 4 slot under the pcie x 1?
Yes that is fine
Hi Mike , i want to connect my ps4 controller with my pc but the bluetooth dongle i get only lasts a few months every time and needs to be re-plugged to another port . i found the above mentioned card in my local market , should i get it . will it solve my problem ?? . your response will be greatly appreciated .
it should be fine, not sure why your other devices are failing so quickly
I have the same card but how do I get it to grab wifi from the card instead of my motherboard from control panel
if you have multiple devices for wifi / ethernet you will need to disable the onboard ones in the bios or device manager
hi! im planning on building my own pc soon and i am worried that my gpu wouldnt allow a wifi card to fit since i have a smaller pc case (lian li o11 dynamic mini), should i consider this a problem or should i be fine?
that should be fine in either matx or atx mode in that case
On my motherboard it says JUSB1. Would it be fine if connected the usb cord to that?
if it is the 9 pin or 5 pin usb standard that will be fine, if you are not sure join the discord and we can get into more detail
are internal card better than usb dongles for bluetooth? I play on steam with a dualshock 4 and it sometimes lags or drops. There must be a definitive device that isn't shite. Microsoft has their own dongle which work flawlessly. The PS dongle isn't great I hear
usb dongles allow better extension away from the case and shielding etc
@@mikesunboxing yeah I gathered that would be a factor. I don't know of ots the Bluetooth standard vs what xbox uses, but its always noticeably worse using a dual shock with any dongke I've tried. Frustrating.
I got the same exact network card. The only problem I run across is that my computer has 11 pins vs the 9 pins for the adapter. Any solutions or recommend a different card ?
USB headers are only 9 pin, not sure what the 11 is? Maybe a TPM port or something, let me know what motherboard you have and i'll try and come up with a solution
@@mikesunboxing It's one of these Lenovo I470MS or 3168.
My extra pcie slot is right under my gpu. As in right against the bottom fan of the card. Im kind of scared it could suffocate my gpu. I have an mATX mobo so thats my only extra pcie
i would get a usb one then to be safe
how do I know if the bt can connect to my mother board
All you need is a normal internal usb 2.0 header the 9 pin one
How do I get the Bluetooth to work without the disk driver. I don't have a disk drive. And I don't see Bluetooth in device manager.
did you plug in the USB cable?
@@mikesunboxing The white part that goes to the usb pins? i installed it 2 pci slots down from the graph card.
is it possible to install in full size expansion slot
Yes it with fit in a 16x slot
So I have it installed, downloaded the software "BT........Win10" and Im in "Device Manager." The Bluetooth is all good. When I go to "Network Adapter" in the tab I dont see an option for "Intel (R) Dual Band Wireless." I notice "Realtek PCIe GbE," "Wan miniport", etc.. is mine defective or something?
Nevermind! There is two application at install in the CD! Thanks for a wonderful video! 5 stars lol!
Thanks! And glad you got it sorted :-)
Can i use this to just have bluetooth to have a ps4 controller on pc? would it force me to use wifi istead of ethernet.
that is fine you can use the wifi or ethernet, windows 10 and 11 will default to ethernet if plugged in
I bought this network card, however, there is a yellow light emitting from it after inserting. What does that mean?
not sure not seen that? is it just a power led?
Thank you for your help mate
No problem 👍
the smaller pcie port is covered up by my graphics card.. do i have to give up on this device? (for reference i have a gigabyte b450m ds3h)
Is there a larger slot at the bottom you can use
Does this card have to have the bluetooth connected?
no the USB can be left disconnected for wifi only
I have the exam same blutooth and wifi card but on my motherboard, I can’t find a USB-1 to plug it in. I have MSI Tomahawk B550. Please help
there is a usb 2.0 header at the bottom of the motherboard
the bluetooth usb isn’t firmly sticking into the usb port slot any help
not much can go wrong there, just make sure the blank pin matches up
@@mikesunboxing an hour after posting the comment i successfully aligned the port it took a while though but everything is working
I’m not sure if this is a dumb question, but will this card work with an amd Ryzen 5 3600 cpu?
As toh said it is motherboard dependable not the cpu
all of the drivers on the disc and web site are for windows,i am running Zorin 15/linix be the y/fi seems to work just fine.
cool nice to know
hello, i’ll get a motherboard with wifi and bluetooth.. will i have any problems if i’ve got both of them working at the same time? what should i do to be sure? thank you
they are often two separate controllers on the chip so using both at the same time is fine

Is it really that big of a deal if you already put it in the top one? I didn’t want it so close to the fans of my graphics card.
put it where you like as long as it works and doesn't impact anything else

Hello There! Could you help me please? I have bought a Gaming pc with no Wi-Fi Alpha Sync mother board ASUS Prime B550M- K, So is that Wi-Fi Card compatible with my motherboard and windows 11 home ?
yes looks like you have pciex1 slots available and a usb header for the wifi, but might need a splitter for the usb header if there are already in use
@@mikesunboxing Thanks a lot, do you think you could help me by video call how to fit the splitter ? Or do you have any video showing that could help me?
@@mikesunboxing Which splitter do you recommend me to buy could you post a link from Amazon please?
I found the video and I would like to know if my motherboard supports the card
maybe let me know the board, but most boards made in the last ten years should be compatible
The motherboard is A320M-A PRO MAX AMD AM4
I can't find any usb slots for the bluetooth cable to fit in what do i do
if you have no slots you cant use it what motherboard do you have?
I bought one of these which came with the antennas wires loose, after hours of troubleshooting I opened it up and connected the wires but the Bluetooth is awful, disconnects, delays, robot voice. It might be a defective unit but it sucks.
might be worth looking into returning it
I don’t see my WiFi card in network adapter. Any suggestions on how to fix that?

a usb splitter cabler will do it or a USB PCie card

I followed this video to the letter but when I came to plugging into an internal USB port, there was only 1 installed which was being used for the mouse and keyboard.
So I bought a 9Pin USB Header Male 1 to 2/4 Female Extension Cable Card 9-Pin USB HUB USB 2.0 9 Pin Connector Adapter Port Multiplier which gave me an additional 3.
However when I checked control panel>Network and Internet> network connections after installation, Bluetooth network connections and Wi-Fi are not connected but mouse and keyboard are working as per normal.
Any advise please.
the internal header on the motherboard should be a 9 pin connection, i'm not sure how you have plugged a mouse and keyboard into it? maybe send a pic to out discord chat and i'll take a look
@@mikesunboxing Hi Mike and thanks for your response. As I mentioned in my previous comment, there was only a single USB port fitted to the motherboard which was already being used for the mouse and keyboard.
I learned this by unplugging it which resulted in both the mouse and keyboard no longer functioning.
So, there was nowhere left to plug the 9 pin plug you mentioned.
As a result, I bought an adaptor which gave me an additional 3 internal USB ports, one of which I plugged the bluetooth cable into and another I plugged the original cable for the mouse and keyboard into. www.lazada.co.th/products/i2248336442-s7513743232.html?urlFlag=true&mp=1&spm=spm%3Da2o4m.order_details.item_title.1
The mouse and keyboard are working fine which indicated the adaptor is working but the wireless and keyboard are not working at all.
I've used a ziyituod wifi card but I don't get that option on device manager. the bluetooth is working well so I dont think its got anything to do with how I installed it into the motherboard :(
