Thank you for the video! Don't u know by a change whether it is possible to connect ethernet cable to my mobo and share internet via hotspot using this wifi card
I'm going to be honest, I don't know the answer.
I have it and my speed was the same so idk if it was a W and I don’t feel like it made a difference
You could already be reaching the maximum speeds provided by your Internet Provider. If you are already reaching the maximum speeds, you don't need to upgrade. Unless you wanted to upgrade to a wifi card for distance & Bluetooth purposes.
Hey
nice review, but I went for ub500 usb nano
btw what's that fan for cleaning dust from pc?
I bought this one. It's a little on the pricier side but it comes with a larger battery capacity. You can definitely find cheaper ones but I really like the one I bought. Can be used as a vacuum too!
a.co/d/fGAU4jk
but which MB has this type of connection extra slot , and also is it better to have pcie or pce ? , is this a ATX motherboard?
Yes the motherboard in the video is an ATX motherboard. You can still use the wifi card in a regular size pcie slot.
My desktop already has bt5.0 and wifi, but I want to upgrade to this card, hoping to get better connectivity for bt devices and maybe better range on the wifi. Do I need to disable the installed software in device management or something or will the software download do all that? Also, how do I do that?
It will default to the wifi card once drivers are installed. I myself have built-in Bluetooth and wifi and it still default to the wifi card
@@theavidconsumer Thanks for the information. I kinda thought that because I've watched several vids and they don't mention anything other than just downloading the new drivers, but there have been comments saying you have to. Anyway, thx.
@@raincadeify No Problem! Also thanks for question! I'm sure other people will find this comment useful!
Hi. Your speed test show 509/10 Mbps in wifi what is the speed that your ISP provides you ?
@@66longinus The ISP plan we have is 500down and 10 up. Though we actually get about 582 down if directly next to the router
im interested in this even tho im mostly fine with ethernet but we sometimes have lan parties and thing like this could make it whole lot easier also I want bluetooth too
what is the chance in the world that I need wifi card, start looking review of what I've choose, found your video and figured out that I have the same mother board, video card and JBL speaker? ))
WOW, now that is something new! XD
What are the odds of something like that!

thank you
Do we have to have bluetooth on our PC to be able to benefit from the wifi connection of this card? and if not, then does this card give us bluetooth or is it just bluetooth compatible? Plsss help meee
Yes, it will add both bluetooth and wifi capabilities to your system!
@@theavidconsumer thank you mannnn 🙌
Where should the connector plug in to the motherboard
It should go into a USB Header. You can search it up online or on your motherboard manual
We’re do you install the drivers ?
Can be found on the TP-Link website by searching for the specific model, you will find the wifi drivers aswell as the bluetooth drivers.
Should I get this or the archer tx3000e
@@asilva2 The TX3000e performs slightly better but the TX55e has better Bluetooth. Personally, just pick the more affordable one.
@@theavidconsumer Do they have the same range tho? My routers on the opposite side of the house im tryna find out which one will reach it better
@@asilva2 From what I researched. The TX3000e has a better antenna design allowing it to have a slightly advantage in range. So if you want the best range, I suggest you go with the TX3000E
what is that air blower you are using? is that self refillable?
It is a rechargeable electric air duster and vacuum in one! A little on the pricey side but it has suited my use case well. If you want to pay once and never again I highly recommend it! 👍👍👍
Though you can definitely find something cheaper but ultimately up to you!

Yes, this specific wifi card will! It comes with an additional cable for Bluetooth capabilities! 👍
Upload - 10 mbps? Is it your provider limitation or the card?
@@IvanMaksimov Limitation of my ISP. Thank you very good question!
Which one better wifi card or usb dongle ?
Dedicated WiFi card 100%
Better Latency & better performance/stability
Can I use this card with Gigabyte Aorus Pro V2 motherboard?
Yes, this will work with that motherboard; just make sure the system has an extra PCI-E Slot available for the Wi-Fi card to occupy.
@@theavidconsumer Thanks buddy, I'll get this.
Thank u for this video! I was debating between this card and the wavlink ax5400m card and this one looks much sleeker and seems to work great. Great video and u deserve more subs 🩷
Thanks appreciate the comment! Motivates me to make more content!
Hey I wanted to know if it matters what kind of Wi-Fi you have to us tp link bc I have spectrum and I don’t know if to link will work with spectrum
Should work! And don't worry if you have any issues you can always return! Amazon has great customer service!
what is the difference between this card and archer TX50E?
The TX50E is older and the physical size is slightly larger. As for price I'm not sure why the TX50E is more expensive when the TX55E performs better. The TX50E uses Bluetooth 5.0 while the TX55E uses Bluetooth 5.2.
How is it with the controller stability
Currently using an Xbox One Series X Controller and I don't notice any delays or lag in-game. Plays as if it were connected to the computer by cable. No distinguishable difference to me.
Also makes gaming an enjoyable experience on my living room pc to play Skyrim from the couch.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 😹
Also wanted to ask what kinda blower is that
Asus ax 3000 is good or tp link ax 3000
Hello, i am very uninformed regarding this argument so this might sound like a really really dumb question, but looking at the amazon it says its compatible with 5gb connection, and i have a 4gb one, so will it be compatible?
Do you mean WiFi 4 & WiFi 5?
what's that blower? thingy?
It is an electric duster that I bought on amazon. There are cheaper options than the one I listed, but the one in the video is a great, long-lasting option. Battery life is excellent for the duration of use! Though, I think you could get away with using a cheaper option!
Would these Wi-Fi cards work a motherboard that doesn’t support Wi-Fi and stuck on cable only? I got a Msi pro z690 A
Yes, it will work. You will need to make sure you have a pcie slot available. When installing, make sure to leave ethernet cable plugged in in order to download and install the wifi card drivers. Once you've done that, you should be good to go! No more cable!
Does the CD include all of the drivers needed for the computer to see and use the Wi-Fi card? I am thinking of getting one of these.
It will include the basic drivers to get the wifi card up & working. If possible, I recommend updating the drivers to the most recent or installing drivers directly from their website .
Can you shake that camera even more?
@@BubuRuzu Sorry I know 😭. It is getting better though. At the time of recording I didn't really think it though. But appreciate the criticism. 🫶
do we know if this wifi adapter is compatible with a amd cpu?
It should be compatible with both AMD & Intel platforms. As long as you have a PCIE Slot, you should be fine.
can i use the wifi things on my motherboard instead of the card?
Yes, if your motherboard has built-in wifi you can use that aswell.
@@theavidconsumer ok sweet

Yes I did! Did you like the build? Also I have a new system right now, if you would like to see the new build feel free to watch the more recent video!
can i download the drivers before i get the wifi card ?
Yes, you can download them to the computer or a USB Stick to have ready before purchasing the wifi card.
i got that card and on my wifi 6 network the download and upload is 45/45mbps when i pay for gigabit. im on the 5g band and itshowsa send/receive of 1000/1000. i expectat least 150-200 over wifi but im not even getting that.and i got both antennas on. can u help?
edit: mines the tx50e but it installs and looks alot like yours.
My recommendation would be to go to the tp-link website and search for drivers regarding that specific model. Install the most recent drivers and see if the speed has improved. If not is there any obstructions between your computer and router?
@theavidconsumer I did that and it didn't work, but I messed around for a bit after uninstlaling the drivers completed and it works fines now. Been dealing with this since I got it and idk why it works now lmao
@@tubelesstrippin yes, Uninstalling drivers can work too, it will basically have the computer reinstall drivers again which sometimes fixes the problem. Glad you got it figured out!
Is the cable for bluetooth?
Yes, cable is intended for bluetooth
What's the usb cable used for?
It's a cable that connects to a USB Header on the motherboard. It's for the bluetooth capability.
Damn, I've just gone from 45mbps ethernet down to 21mbps using this same card.
Try reinstalling drivers or repositioning the antennas

do you get any packet loss/lag when playing online games using the adapter?
No I did not. I didn't notice any lagspikes or stutters due to wifi connection. I think it really depends on how stable your router/wifi speeds are. For the most part I haven't had any issues with Bluetooth or wifi when playing games like Fortnite & Call Of Duty, it has all ran smoothly! 👍

@@_bleufort_4715Router is upstairs but if it were on the same level it is about 18 to 20ish ft away.
