I was sort of cringing, but cats in pc's are always cute. I remember my stepfather used to build pc's and I was suprised he literally let our cat walk over the pcb's and I always thought it could short out the electronics.
you are correct in thinking the connection to the usb header is for bluetooth, as far as I know PCIE x1 can't transfer the signals needed for it as well as wifi
That goes on my nerves when somebody says "nobody needs CDs anymore"... And here I am boasting a blu-ray drive, and I got a SFF PC with a DVD drive as an HTPC in my living room (collection of roughly 250 discs!), AND the PS5 disc version. Because we wanna OWN things! Not depend on some sh!tty company that can remove my "ownership" for "licensing" reasons! And I need to be able to install the driver when my PC is not near the router! Everybody needs CDs! Wake up people!
I have the earlier model of this. I am on optic fibre. My W-Fi speeds are as high as my ISP allows on my plan - e.g. 500Mbs down / 35Mbs up. That is with the router being downstairs and through a brick wall. Ethernet would give me the same results - because that is my plans speed cap. Don't know why your results were so poor. A comment for others watching this two years on. The Asus cable connects the card to the USB plug on the motherboard. I found it would not work when plugged into a USB socket, in needs a USB2... But I have the previous model. Superb card. Tip on the Blue Tooth. A lot of folk have had issues with lag on sound putting voice out of sink when watching videos. Uninstall the Bluetooth driver and let windows install one downloaded from Intel. Problem solved.
im more interested in recieving signals with distance and walls. i got this problem atm that my computer doesn't take the signals as well as other devices at home and i use that tp link one. i think my wifi gets resetted too sometimes or something because all of a sudden i see my computer shifting to plane mode and back to wifi, very strange... i also wanna reinstall drivers but they're same dated drivers i still have from 2018. latest drivers are from 2018...
@@CablesTech No problem! I started looking through several videos knowing that most of them would be garbage compiled stock footage with a robot voice and affiliate links but then I found this video, a rarity! Thanks for not being useless like 99% of the other “reviews”! Thanks
you know the pc build is good when it's cat approved
I'm like what is this comment talking about, then I look up and ......ahh yes. Glad it checked out with kitty. 👍

Awesome! Would have liked to see the installation though.
BRO THE CAT IS LITERALLY STANDING ON HIS GPU AND HE DOES NOTHING AHAHHAAAHHAHAAH😂😂😂
Don't worry, the cat knows what it's doing, it was politely and carefully nudging it down a little to show him that it's sagging

Had to hit the like button immediately just based on the cat alone. Sweet build tho.

Thank you cable
What router were you using is another question cause you'd get a better throughput with a corresponding 6E router to that 6E Nic card you used.
That's a good question, and I can't disclose the router, but I can say it does, in fact support wifi 6E
Thank you!
