Interesting -almost exact design to the Tlyard unit but a lot more expensive. Why is it that no one mentions the back once installed has a huge hole and the screen wire harness and the bare chassis metal are now completely exposed?! I find this omission on the podcast suspect - to me this gap in design is not cool at all and certainly does not represent the original modern design…it’s like the designers/engineers decided to leave out a panel back there or even worse could not figure out how to design a single panel that would cover the device and keep the original look…. For this issue alone I’m not buying the other unit and will likely return this one…. Other people may find it’s okay as is and that I’m being nit picky.
@@northerntesla if you go to the passenger side look under the screen; no real effort required. Hole is above the flimsy air temp monitor tile. You can see the black Tesla power and screen cable harness, the hole and even the Tesla aluminum chassis with soldered areas - all right from the passenger seat - just look with your head almost touching the glovebox cover.
Be very leary of ordering from Hansshow! I ordered and paid for the newer V3 30° left-right & 15° up-down swivel mount and they sent me the old left-right model and have been very unresponsive and have not refunded me for their error. Almost impossible to deal with for customer service. At first I thought it might have been an honest mistake, but after their total lack of any good faith attempt to rectify the problem I am beginning to wonder. I ordered a $203 CCS adapter in the same order and that came looking used in an open box. They promised a partial refund on that too and never delivered a thing. BUYER BEWARE.
Love your video! Do you still love it? Also, with it on, does it affect the air flow? Anything else that you didn’t mention in the video?
Bloopers were funny :D
Thanks!
All of the videos I've seen show the phone flap closed with this thing. Can the flap not open all the way?
Yes it does. You just have to straighten the screen flip it open and then feel free to tilt.

Where exactly is this hole you mention? Hansshow has a bracket that covers the entire unit. Could this be exclusive to the Tlyard version?

Does anyone make a model that doesn't lower the screen?
I haven't seen any yet, Hansshow is one of the better ones in that regard. I'll be testing out a few other versions in the future so stay tuned.
