Today is about slowing down. After you slow down, observe. What's going on?
What is it? Because whatever it is. It’s okay. It’s all part of the process, baby.

Exhale day 13🎉 the more I practice yoga, the more I learn it’s not just the body that needs to work out or have rest days, but the mind as well. The more I meditate, the quicker I find peace, and stillness and calm my mind, these are tools that I’ve started to use in day-to-day life, along with Adriene’s voice popping into my head and reminding me to come back to my breath, they help to ground me and to take a few seconds before I carry on. Thank you, Adriene, for this practice my mind needed this rest, as did my body and for the reminders to come back to my breath. 💖🙏🏻🧘🏼‍♀️

This practise was special to me. I’ve never cried during yoga, but now I found myself crying when we connected from the crown into the body. I felt I let the love from around me to reach my heart which I have never dared to allow before - now I felt loved and safe ❤ This brought up other feelings and I felt overwhelmed for a time - but connecting to the ground these feelings found a path and I felt relieved and lightedned.
I want to thank you, Adriene, for the November 2022❤ from the bottom of my soul and heart. You have had my back for a time now and for that I am very grateful ❤

I suffer from depression and anxiety and at present, I’m in a very suffocating environment at home, so there’s so much to do but never enough time to focus on it all, least of all myself. I was able to take some time out though for yoga and meditation and my tears just bubbled up. I feel lighter, even if the problems are still there. I was able to find time for myself, no one else. I’ve never cried during meditation until today. With all the chaos in the world right now, I chose this video. I felt the need to meditate rather than the need for what your other videos offer me every Saturday morning. I dropped into deep meditation about halfway through and once that energy rod connected from the top of my head to the earth below, tears gently started and I cried. I’ve been so strong for everyone around me for weeks. It felt so good to cry. Thank you Adriene 🙏

This was a tough one for me today. Meditation doesn’t come easy and I’ve been experiencing a lot of pain and discomfort in my back and neck for some time now. It was hard to not get distracted by it, kept pulling me out of my focus. I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to do the full 17 minutes but I persevered and was surprised when I got to the “one more minute part”. I’m hoping this months meditation focus will help me to detach a little from my pain and help my body not go into panic mode as much when it flares up. Thank you, Adriene, for all you do.

Adriene’s guidance and gentile voice allowed me to imagine that the line down my spine took on a healing glow and surrounded me, grounding me to the earth and the sky. My divergent thought’s melded together and resolved to acceptance, forgiveness and calmness. This emotional release was quite unexpected, but the unexpected can happen when you open to the possibilities.

I realised that I was starting to become incredibly jittery and restless and had the feeling that I was on my way to a panic attack, which I haven't had in years. I've managed to control my breathing when I was about to have them before but this night it felt very near, like I was about to lose myself a little. So I came here, in hope of calming myself down, taking control of my breath and dont let my thoughts waver me to a place I dont wanna see myself be at. A video later and I'm able to write this, thank you, even if I did I myself, this guide certainly helped, Adriene, love from me and to anyone else reading this.

It's been a long while since I meditated, it's hard for me to make myself do it, but when I use your calendar every day, it comes naturally. I needed that, I feel more connected, rooted in my whole being than ever ❤️ I also got a reminder how truly precious and important meditation is to me. A few tears even visited my eyes. Thank you so much!

Todays practice was just perfect , I haven’t meditated in a while so this was such a nice reminder of how amazing meditation is for me , and by the very end with Adrienne’s visualisation of the string from the top of my head to the earth just gave me this extreme gratefulness for the earth and what it provides us as a source to survive by the time I opened my eyes I knew I went very deep into that gratitude which was amazing ❤ root day 11

Feeling lazy to get out of bed today. I might give myself another hour of sleep on this Sunday morning. This came in right when i need it. Getting ready to do it in bed and i know it'll be enough to wake me up to the rest of the day. Adriene coming to the rescue yet again giving us yogis a tap on the shoulder, a bro fist, and a wake up call that we've all got this despite the chaos going on inside our heads. Thanks for the soothing practice Adriene. Much love. Namaste.

  • @FreyaHatfield

This isn't on this months calendar (delight), but it's what my body and mind needed today, along with my practice yesterday that also wasn't part of the calendar. I felt a peace I haven't felt for awhile, a calm that I've been missing and a realignment I didn't know I needed until I fell the quickest I've ever fallen into a meditation. I had thoughts pop up briefly, but as soon as I was grounded they vanished and along with them so did the feelings attached to them, feelings that I thought I had let go off months ago, hopefully now they are gone. Thank you, Adriene, for creating this space, meditation and community where speaking about a practice is so easy to do so openly without any fears of judgment, but a knowing that whoever sees these comments may be feeling a similar way or may find something that helps them in someway, you truly are a bright light and are always there it may not be in person, but these videos come pretty close to that. 💖🧘🏼‍♀️🙏🏻

Adriene, I need to tell you that I started this practice on my mat on 2 cushions for comfort but even then before half way through, as always, I get pain in my upper legs which seriously distracts from my meditation. It’s an arthritis thing and it really spoils my concentration. So I stopped the video and moved to my sofa where I can sit up tall almost pain free and enjoy this practice with you. In future when a meditation practice pops up I will do it this way and not try to persevere on my mat. After we finished today I feel an awesome calmness as if you have slowed down my busy life ! Thanks Adriene, much love 🧘🏼‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️🙏💞

I couldn't sleep without waking up stressed and crying. I came across your channel couple days ago. Thankyou for giving me a ray of hope. I am doing yoga everyday seeing your videos. My own experience in the first week is that I am not waking up from my sleep and getting a better one then before. I feel very good after I finish the session and I will continue yoga with you. Thank you Adriene. This week I've had a somewhat scary chest infection that's made it incredibly painful to breathe in. My daily practice has made me more aware of my breath and this was just what I needed now the pain is starting to ebb away. At this point I should also say I'm massively grateful to be able to access the healthcare I needed to treat it (and free here in the UK). For the time when it has been scary having tests, not knowing what was wrong and managing pain, it has been so helpful to return to the breath practised you have shared again and again. And so I'm grateful to you for sharing and also this was the perfect way to ground me back to feeling more secure. Much love ❤️

@@sarakennelty4914 aw that's so lovely 😍 I did start young with my grandaughter as she has always stayed with me while her Mum is at work. We did this deliberately by working opposite shifts to each other so little one never needed to go to outside child care. This meant even as a very small child she would see me get out my mat. Then she would try to copy as they do and eventually I gave her an old mat to play with. Then this birthday she turned 11 and wanted her own proper mat and my heart just soared. She doesn't always want to do it on a daily basis and sometimes she just flings herself about on her mat, but that's ok, she's still only little and if she gets a little joy from it and some tools to help her as she grows up and encounters all the stress and problems life brings, then I will be happy 🙏 I almost burst one day when I phoned and my daughter said that grandaughter had gone to sit in the car to meditate because it was raining and she was cross about something. I so wish they would teach these little things at school. Anyway, its 5am here and I have Nurse visiting at 10am so maybe should try for a few more hours sleep lol. Lots of love xx
