It is their job... I would be happy to make videos about races, but racing, working full time, and living alone is kinda difficult combination.
I suspect 95% of this video is pre-made as most of it is not really about the race but about everything around it.

Luckily there wasn’t a sprint this time like Unbound. Imagine getting sprayed in the eyes while in full sprint and a pile of photographers just a few feet passed the finish line
yeah they so obviously want to make this the F1 of biking, so might as well get the podium shower like lando norris.

Not her fault, what was she supposed to do, let that opportunity go? If anything, it’s annoying that men riding for a completely insignificant position have too big of an ego and won’t let the top women do all the work.
Unbelievable how fast you got this out. I purposely avoid seeing the results so I can watch this as "live" and it's so well done that I just don't understand how you get it out so quickly after the race. Great job everyone!!

The amount of drafting off men in the women’s race is ridiculous
Yes, unfortunately. Nothing prevents it, so right now there’s no foul. But it’s definitely tainted. Give them their own race-only way to make this equitable.

Yeah, I don't fault Sophia for doing it, she like many of the other women have asked that it be disallowed, but it definitely has a negative affect on the outcome.

Where's the race coverage? This is a video "about" the race.
What a great video. Loved the insight into some of the racers and the women's winner made me choked up. Seeing Kimo in the heli was so cool! I've ridden TSR in Scottsdale with him on a number of occasions and he's a really great guy. I had a blast washing bikes with the crew from Muc-Off on race day and celebrating with all the folks who came in well after the big hitters. In my book every rider there was fantastic!

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I'd love to see this video done in two parts. One as a race recap only and one that interviews the riders and tells their stories. Both are important aspects but I found myself skipping ahead a lot to see the actual race. If it were a second video I'd go watch those interviews but not in this format.
What a shame that you don’t show the clip of me before crossing the finish line saying how horrible it feels to do what I did to Michaela and how deserving Michaela was of that second place.
I have been begging you for no drafting rules and I really hope the way I was able to close the final gap with a help of a guy makes you realize how badly the women’s field needs this rule.
Additionally, you could have also included the emotional moment with Melissa and I. That moment, regardless of who it was, deserved to be shown. Women supporting women ❤

I like the behind the scenes stories and the race coverage but can they be separate videos please? Combing them takes away from each separate thing in my opinion.

I liked watching this - I was a spectator once years ago - fun times. I wish Lifetime did some work on the 'grunts' at the back whom just do this race to challenge themselves to attempt to finish. Heartbreak for those whom get pulled from the course as they are behind time. Great race.

I've been watching a lot (probably too much) cycling coverage lately and one thing I think would be cool next year, would be to see some sort of banner at the top that showcases where riders are in relation to one another. I know there isn't a Peloton, but riders do tend to ride in packs and that type of thing really adds to the coverage. And one element was added (I think this year) to the TDF was that the banner section with the riders on screen was highlighted. It makes it easy to know that the current visual is of a specific rider (or group) and that the rider is in second position, etc. - I know the TDF has a crazy budget, so I understand if it's too much to implement, but it adds so much to the coverage imo.
And if you want to have your SBLI sponsor next to that banner the whole time it's more screen time for your sponsor (it may be easier on the eyes than the SBLI logo animation displayed 6x).

34:57 - the rider is reaching for a gel, clearly starting to struggle. Get the broad brush comment out - maybe they need to consume 100grams of carbs per hour and going up hill is easier to eat than 50mph downhill.

Marji Gesick.... 100 miles in Michigan, bring your best effort.. it may not be enough, just to finish, Maji Gesick makes Ledville look like a gravel race !!
The vibes of Leadville and Marji are completely different. Leadville wants you succeed everything from the riders to the fans want you to earn that buckle. Marji wants you fail and the revel in that result, that is fine because that is what Marji is about. I will say that no one ever suffered altitude sickness in the U.P. and l have never met anyone telling me that Leadville isn't tough enough wearing a Leadville buckle.

IF sophia comes out and states that she felt michaela deserved 2nd because she rode by herself and sophia herself drafted the last part back on - they she WHY did she attack michaela at the end ~ that was the suckiest move; & by her own admission she feels like she didnt deserve it, but i guess the "prize money" is money in your pocket, and empty words are cheap!
