  • This video will show you step by step the process of converting a rotary hammer drill from AC100V to DC18V power tools. The original tool is designed for AC 100V power source. The problem with this power tool is that the switch is broken. It's hard to find that part in our country. One more thing is the power source, I need to use a 220V to 110V converter to run this tool. Cordless is easier than corded power tools, which is why I decided to convert this tool to a cordless power tool.
    Components list
    DC Brushless 18V
    -DC 12V: no-load current 1.55A no-load speed 12500 rpm
    -DC 18V: no-load current 2.25A no-load speed 18800 rpm
    -DC 21V: no-load current 2.75A no-load speed 22000 rpm

    I hope you find this video useful and enjoy it!
    Furthermore, I am happy to receive feedback, suggestions to improve myself.
    !!! I'm sorry for the mistake if I did in this video !!!
    Thank you very much for choosing to watch my video!
    Have a nice day

    The Ingersoll Rand 114GQC Air Hammer ruclips.net/user/postUgkxqqoaX03nrziKwF7Bjjcc71YzLEleMvOS was just the tool I needed. I Use it to remove stuck bolts. If held at the right angle you can cut slightly into the bolt. Then turn the air hammer to where it will hammer the stuck bolt to unspin the bolt. Given a little practice it works great. This air hammer gives you the control needed to get the job done right. Very powerful yet still does not seem to have as much vibration as other guns I have used. One of the best I have gotten my hands on.

    Hahaha!
    I am from India. Seeing the title of the video and watching the conversion of the Drill I remembered an old saying in Tamil a language spoken in the Southern part of India. When translated into English it is something like this, "Asking for the direction to a Town to which you never ever want to Go".
    The appropriate title would have been, "How to waste your time and money".

    По всей видимости мастер на этом видео не знает, что родному коллекторному двигателю без разницы какой ток на него приходит, переменный или постоянный. Мощность на родном двигателе конечно была бы на 30% ниже... + Жёсткости конструкции на червяке якоря, не будет, узел конструкции будет страдать от вибрации и развалиться

      @rostikpetrochenkov6451 2 года назад +3

      Согласен, конструкция так себе... Мотор на 1 подшипник установить и вибро резинки вообще жесть... Зазор над кнопкой это жесть ибо пыли там будет куча. А светодиод вообще смешно смотрится ибо бесполезный, к тому же юсб разъем вообще не в тему. Магазинные современные перфораторы с аккумулятором дороже значительно но и в разы мощнее.

    Good job. I think a failure point may be where you drilled out one shaft, and pressed the other into it. After a while of hammering, I think one shaft will begin to slip, inside the other.

    Nice, but I think that over time the drive shaft form the motor will begin to slip, where you pressure fit it into the old one. I would have taken a small metal file, filed a grove in the shaft and inside the old one, and used a small metal pin to make sure it doesn't slip.

    • @A96Z86

      if it slips, would it end up creating enough heat to friction weld?

    • @KyleRepinski
      @KyleRepinski 2 года назад +1

      I don't think it's really an issue considering it was that good of a press fit, but I would've liked to see some red thread locker or stud holder put in there for extra insurance

    Hey.. I have that EXACT model drill (@ 220V) :)
    This is the coolest design - looks like a gun from Judge Dredd.
    I believe this is the 1st model 'BoschHammer'. Also the only model ever to have HAMMER written on the chassis.
    (And, If I'm not mistaken, the only Bosch 'green' to have the BoschHammer name.. I think they moved the name to Bosch Professional (blue) after this one)
    So it's a historical unicorn in the Bosch universe :)
    Very good drill. Still works perfectly (I did change the grease to better grease, though. LucasOil Xtra Heavy Duty. I do that to most of my tools (: Better adhesion at high temperatures)

    • @iggysixx
      @iggysixx 2 года назад

      Maybe interesting to know;
      The 220V version is also 420W.
      Higher voltage, but less Amps
