The Ingersoll Rand 114GQC Air Hammer ruclips.net/user/postUgkxqqoaX03nrziKwF7Bjjcc71YzLEleMvOS was just the tool I needed. I Use it to remove stuck bolts. If held at the right angle you can cut slightly into the bolt. Then turn the air hammer to where it will hammer the stuck bolt to unspin the bolt. Given a little practice it works great. This air hammer gives you the control needed to get the job done right. Very powerful yet still does not seem to have as much vibration as other guns I have used. One of the best I have gotten my hands on.
I wouldn’t say it as the gerabox was not fully restored. Only cleaned and grease changed. And in my opinion the concrete test result was not that good. The drill with this diameter should go into the concrete twice as fast. There are o-rings in the hammer assembly that MUST be echxanged in order to restore the gearbox properly. Author of the video did not even find it. Instead he focused on paiting the housing. Give me a break.
Great Job Sir. The LXT Series isn't that old.... Nice tool. Great job restoring it. Those are not cheap. Great tool to have. I'm sure you do this, but for other viewers.... As you start to collect Makita batteries (or whatever brand you gravitate towards), start NUMBERING the batteries right away. Get a label maker, mark them 1, 2 3 whatever... And the DATE it was new.... when you have a pile of batteries rolling around in your truck, or your home shop, or both, and all the sudden you have a "bad" pack, that can be a real pain in the keester, if you can't identify it, and pull it out of rotation....
Please, do not solder wires and then insert them into screw terminals. The solder deforms over time and actually “flows” away from the terminal causing the connection to become loose and unstable. This can lead to arcing and potentially a electrical fire. It’s better to screw the terminal down onto bare wire than it is to solder. The proper way to do it would be to use a wire ferrule that is crimped onto the wire and then inserted into the terminal and tightened down. Ferrules keep the strands of the wire in place and provide the best connection for screw type terminal blocks
Nice job. Not everyone, will show they're results with real testing after restore the tools. But I heard Makita not good at this days. What do you think about that?
I have the same one. unfortunately it doesn't work well. after 10 seconds of operation, it starts to overheat and loses strength. it overheats in the area of the brushes and brush holders. what could be the cause? gearbox and hammer already one disassembled and the grease changed, but overheating continues.

Oops i do this alot
Yes you're right. Tin is a soft metal. If you want to do it better, use a crimping tool.

Great job. Why do you open the screw manually and then start the screwdriver??
Thank you! I open the screw manually and then start the screwdriver, because I want the video quiet.

Really super
ah, the 3ah batteries... they were the most popular for a while, we had them around 2012
that's awesome
Best bro...
What spray did you used for plastic housing? Some clearcoat? Satin/matte/petrol-resistant/for plastic?
It is flat clear spray.
I have 2 of these, one 2008 never used, the second 2017,in the work
Nice job. Not everyone, will show they're results with real testing after restore the tools. But I heard Makita not good at this days. What do you think about that?
I don't know about new tools, but all the vintage tools are good.
По ходу, можно было просто щётки поменять... 💁♂️🤦♂️🙆♂️
Nice
Gratidão GearShow!
De nada
🤩
That's a dirty rotary hammer! Let's make it work with Makita batteries... Oh, shit, it already works with Makita batteries, nothing to do here...

เรียนถาม ใช้อะไรฉีด ก่อนลงแว๊ค ครับ
เป็นสเปรย์ใสแบบแบน ผลิตในไทย
@@gear_show ยี่ห้ออะไรครับ
what problem did you have?
💯👍

the new brushes have changed and I had to change the brush holder because the old one melted from the heat
It might be the armature problem. Please check the armature. If the problem still not fix, you can check the switch.
👍
20:45 wrong side ring spring. it is absolutely impossible to do this. an inverted spring will damage the oil seal
