- I saw this hammer drill at a scrap metal shop and bought it at the lowest price to get its internal parts. Looking at it in detail, I think it is still more useful than removing the parts. Of course, I decided to convert it from electricity to batteries power tool. Although it is not very pretty, it can work just like any other hammer drill. I'm really satisfied with this achievement.

That shaft you bored out on a drill press is definitely concentric and not going to fail immediately under stress.

The Ingersoll Rand 114GQC Air Hammer ruclips.net/user/postUgkxqqoaX03nrziKwF7Bjjcc71YzLEleMvOS was just the tool I needed. I Use it to remove stuck bolts. If held at the right angle you can cut slightly into the bolt. Then turn the air hammer to where it will hammer the stuck bolt to unspin the bolt. Given a little practice it works great. This air hammer gives you the control needed to get the job done right. Very powerful yet still does not seem to have as much vibration as other guns I have used. One of the best I have gotten my hands on.

That was incredible!! That comparison was really surprising although it must be emphasized that You used a 18v to 6Ah battery in the modified drill and in the Makita you used a 16v to 3Ah battery and it is something to be considered by watt's law but fantastic, I loved that modification 👌

Widzę tu jeszcze jeden problem jak zakładasz ten stary wentylator to musisz zdemontować ten na silniku brushless ponieważ one będą działać przeciw sobie tworząc z jednej i drugiej strony podciśnienie w efekcie brak chłodzenia stojana silnika i jego przegrzanie bo potrzebny strumień powietrza i wentylator tylko z jednej strony!

How you can ensure that the motor won't spin around the extra piece what you added? 13:37
That’s the first thing I thought too. The press fit looked tight, but it needed some kind of anchor to ensure it doesn’t eventually start spinning around the shaft.
The correct tolerance fit would make sure that never spun. Many pillar drills have chucks that are just interference fit.
Thermal expansion after the first use should "weld?!" it.
