I have to say, when I began watching I thought 'here we go, another of those mysteriously rusted tool videos'. However, this is the real McCoy and well worth a watch. Not only is the wrench brought back to life but now has unique, leather grip points. Excellent thank you.
awesome repair & restoration. my suggestion for the damaged rubber grip, if u had 3d printer, u could trace the old rubber grip same as u did with tape then 3d print it with TPU filament. I did it with my old GSR 120LI. u could also print plastic parts with ABS filaments. it will looks like new 😁😁😁 keep the good work & post more restoration video
Wow, I have this same impact driver brand new. I’m very impressed with your restoration and the new skin makes it look more expensive. Thank you for making this video.
Well done! I watch a lot of these and some of what you did is rare. I can’t remember seeing custom leather grips. Great job restoring this and keeping it out of the landfill!
Thanks for the encouragement. I bought it on Alibaba. The name is plastic crystal plating agent. I don’t know its specific ingredients. It is often used in car interior renovation.🤝🏻🤝🏻
Hello, I really enjoy your work. I just have a question. After you finished cleaning the electrical parts, you brushed them with some kind of grease. Can you please tell me what you used? Thank you and congratulations.
I'm not sure about the part you're talking about. I painted the rotor and stator with insulating paint, and I usually lubricate the plastic switch part with silicone grease.
There are many such rusty tools on the second-hand Internet. There is no need to create garbage. I renovate them in the hope of turning waste into treasure and creating less garbage.
How did it get into this condition? Was it stored in a bucket of mud, in the sea? 😂 Leather! Who would have thought? What a brilliant way to replace that rubber rubbish. I did not expect such a good result. I thought the rotor was a gonner.
The previous owner must have accidentally soaked it in corrosive liquids, such as salt water or sea water, and the aluminum shell was severely corroded.😀🤝🏻🤝🏻

Thank you for the encouragement, rejuvenating something that was broken. I enjoy the process.😀
You did a great job KJ. I enjoy your videos so much, I will sometimes come back to rewatch them again.

*_Never thought anyone could recover. The most incredible work of the best_*
10 volte tanto

Great job, looks fantastic. Way to fix it instead of throwing in the trash.
Thank you, thank you very much!
wow how does a person let there tools get in this condition, that's been in a pond, can't believe how you restored it amazin
Thank you for your encouragement, I will try to do better.
Well done! I watch a lot of these and some of what you did is rare. I can’t remember seeing custom leather grips. Great job restoring this and keeping it out of the landfill!
I watched all the way through, just to see if it worked! Great restoration.
I like how it's so neglected that even the plastic has rust on it. Finding tools with plastic rust is really rare
imagine the quality of a tool that can withstand this level of (ab) use and still work
This is craftsmanship! This is not an easy task. Great job
Nice restoration! But... brushiess? LOL! Also the LED was working before restoration, but not after :))
Brush, … yes !
Simply; you are one of the "BEST", and really a "Genius"👌💫✌
Thank you, thank you very much.😀😀

i was worried about all that o-rings but seems like you managed to found each one of them.
What a bodge job !!!! Also, if you watch carefully, you'll notice the bench had a slope on it !!!!
Aw didums, did someone hurt your feelings?
Cool touch with the leather.

It may be a problem with the adapter. Thank you for your support.😃

Good job 👍
Wow, Hermosa Linda Video ❤❤❤
How does it get like this in the first place
I bet it was harder to make it look used and destroyed then it was to refurbish it.
Thankyou! Finally someone who states the obvious

When he started cutting leather to shape I was amazed for the first time. When he typed BRUSHIESS I was amazed the second time. 🤣
Job done WELL!
Imagine the smell... "like it's been soaked in stale coffee, with a hint of f*cal matter and a dash of coke. The white one, not the black one" 🤣
Thank you, I've already started imagining it.😆
You’ve earned a new sub anyway 👍
Nice, but why ?
