With researched feats... well... it's not pretty. SAO Kirito, OSSAO Kirito, and UW Kirito would wreck guts, canonically, OSSAO > SAO > UW, and I'm using purely UW Kirito feats when I make my statements.
Strength
Guts was able to easily cleave multiple sea creatures that could level buildings, Guts City Level
Kirito could easily deflect a blade from the Administrator of the Underworld who easily flung Alice and Kirito earlier before Kirito went all out, Alice has a sword the weight of a boulder and a full suit of armor, and Alice guarded it with her sword which is capable of completely leveling a forest with ease. Kirito Large City - Mountain Level
Speed
Guts can keep up with lightning... Massively Hypersonic
Kirito was able to match Fanatio's Light speed attacks with his Night Sky Swords special skill, and Kirito also accelerated the underworld to go over 5 million times the speed of time passing on earth, making Kirito over 5 million times the speed of light when extracted from UW.
Durability
Guts was able to survive multiple lightning bolts that could nigh incinerate apostles, Large City Level
Kirito was able to survive an attack from Administrator and walked it off despite her being the most powerful entity in the underworld, City Level to Mountain Level durability. (And Kirito can easily heal this, and gained near immortality from eventually becoming the highest administrator in the underworld (besides maybe Alice, never got answer for that.))
Stamina
Kirito survived 200 years in underworld despite the fact that you're supposed to eventually die of aging (and the only other person who bypassed this rule was the original administrator of the Underworld who found a way to make herself immortal (unless attacked by someone like Kirito who had spacial manipulation that bypassed her general immortality)) no contest... Guts has gotten tired before, Kirito lived for 200 years in the Underworld...
Yeah... Kirito's Sheer speed already lets him kill guts with ease...

Kirito was saved from death multiple times by outside forces. Guts simply survives situations that he logically shouldn't. This is the difference between Deus ex Machinas (What Kirito gets) and Plot Armor (What Guts gets).

Gutsu doesn't need berserker armor to defeat Kirito. Don't be fooled by Guts' size, he is very fast. He could get through the window without being noticed by the old man standing next to him. And he fought with a sword so quickly that Rickerd, who was also a warrior, could not follow his movements.
Don't use favouritism when determining who would win. Being FTE is irrelevant for Kirito.
Maybe you can actually provide some good arguments for why Guts would beat someone like Kirito now?

@@easdghbrwhthttjjtjtjjt7831 Biggest and strongest argument for Guts winning is that he's far more of a combat veteran than Kirito can really dream to be, especially in terms of "last ditch effort" type of wits. Doesn't matter if you've got him already strung up and arms pinned, the moment he sees ANY potential weakness, he's going to flip the tables in a heartbeat with one strategic counterattack/maneuver. And sure, Kirito might be a quick thinker at times, but he's still only got like a couple years or so of experience in comparison to the 2-3 decades Guts has. And that's not even factoring in the sheer difference in physical capabilities that they have (which, sure, is prone to being muddled cause video game logic, but Guts has been confirmed to swing his 400lb sword faster than the regular eye can see for an extended period of time, which puts him at minimum on par in terms of reaction time/speed to Kirito). And where Kirito can semi-resist death for just a bit, Guts has repeatedly resisted such feelings while still somehow putting up a fight, so he's got a superior amount of willpower and overall tenacity by comparison.
Short answer is that Kirito doesn't exactly have enough in terms of advantages to help bridge the sheer experience gap between the two fighters, so he's much more likely to get his ass handed to him more often than not. Two swords and a fast reaction time can do a fair bit, but pitting that up against someone who's used to taking on foes who make his physical prowess and durability seem like that of an ant isn't going to end well, because regardless of similar the game might make them in terms of damage/strength, he still holds the edge in every other category.

I think it would have been way better if Kirito had to develop his own skill instead of using the system for the previous game to back him up. Seeing him actually develop skill would have made it more interesting.

Nah, Guts just has a hell of a lot more plot armor: actual fact. Kirito shows one instance of plot armor during the Aincrad Arc and that's it- Guts shows it

Kirito would put up a decent fight but still lose, though. Ignoring plot armor on both sides, Kirito just doesn't have the strength necessary to beat Guts and his speed advantage is nullified by the Berserker Armor.

There's a huge reason why Guts beats Kirito.
-He's struggled and always was since he was 9
-The Dragonslayer has killed gods and destroyed a dragon made out of crystals
-The Berserker Armor allows him to take up more damage than Kirito could dish out.
-Guts' development is much better and realistic.
-Both have fought gods, but Guts had taken it far more than Kirito and won.
And sure, he's far more worthy of the title "Black Swordsman". FACTS.

I don't doubt that he'd be able to surprise Guts and catch him off guard, even in the middle of a fight, but in an open fight, he wouldn't last long

OSSAO is in the real world, SAO would be the game, and then UW is... weird... it's like accel world, it's not necessarily a game, it's an acceleration of sorts... and Kirito managed to not only become FTL within the system, but then he also accelerated the system so fast that time passed 5 million times faster in the game than real life, (just run the calcs, the reason I know this is because Kirito spent 200 years in the Underworld with Asuna, but when they returned back to the real world only 20 minutes had passed.)

Kirito's body is kinda irrelevant what with being a video game character. Comparing him to actual physical humans is impossible. Guts functions on physics, Kirito functions on stats. Considering that, they shouldn't've even been capable of harming eachother. Under SAO mechanics, just swinging a sword around does virtually nothing. you only take damage from sword skills (preset moves, the glowy stuff). Under actual physics, Guts cannot be harmed by ones and zeroes. Stalemate.
Side note stating the obvious here, Kirito outside of VR is a decent swordsman. The VR tech has what's essentially Assassin's Creed's bleeding effect, where experiencing yourself doing certain motions in VR commits them to your real-life muscle memory. But "decent" is about it. And he's physically unremarkable. Far weaker people than Guts could beat him effortlessly. Post-Aincraid-arc would be a different story since his pure skill irl becomes retarded during it, but even then I'd still give Guts the win.
Edit: Side-side-note, if Kirito is *given his ingame feats in real life*, so he can actually fight Guts, I'd unfortunately have to give Kirito the win. He's *a video game character*. Guts may be insane, but Kirito is outright broken. Mach-speed movement, unlimited endurance, coming out unharmed from terminal-velocity drops, beyond-peak-human reaction time, healing factor that no-sells bisection, etc... His swords are both heavier than the Dragon Slayer on their own. It's no contest, Kirito curbstomps.
