I love it. The potent point that Aizawa is removing Kakashi's ability, therefore making it hard for him to get a gauge on what Kakashi can do, while Kakashi gets to see Aizawas ability several times, giving him the knowledge to counter it. Once Kakashi begins countering Aizawa's ability, Aizawa doesn't have enough knoweldge to counter any of Kakashi's abilities. Plays out really logically.
Untraced yes and also he figure out the weakness and counter it most times but he was having trouble ending until erasers eyes could no longer keep open. It’s really a cool fight and though having him erase chakra does not make sense for the most part I think it fair for this case and also without it kakashi would have had a field day with him.

Plus Kakashi got the sharingan so that means the sharingan can help Kakashi to get knowledge and to understand Aizawa capabilities/abilities after that, he can counter aizawa quirk by kicking the sand or dirt in his eyes making him blink

This was so clever and respectful of each character, plus whoever made this had some on point direction, it felt like an episode of classic naruto.

As mentioned last upload. I Didnt expect Aizawa's quirk to work on Chakra 😂. 😁👌its stuff like this that can really bring up a fun idea into One Minute Melee fights. I was rooting for Kakashi, and Im glad he won again.
The thing is, it doesn't work on chakra. Aizawa can negate Transformation and Emitter type quirks. Quirks are a person's natural abilities, therefore Aizawa can negate the specific body function that activates them. However, chakra is not like this. Chakra is a naturally occurring life force energy in someone's body. Chakra and any form of jutsu would work like My Hero Academia's Mutant type quirks which is the only form of quirk Aizawa cannot negate. He just made him be able to negate charka so the OMM would be more interesting. I knew Kakashi would win from the start.

highsquirrel firechief aizawa can stop more than transformation and emission type quirks. He can stop every kind of quirk there is, except the quirks that mutates their body (invisible girl, tsuyu, lizard girl, etc). If it is something you can draw out, it is something aizawa can "erase". If you've read the manga, you'd know that there's something called a "quick factor". It's basically the thing/gene/trait that composes a quirk. Aizawa's eraser quirk stops the quirk factor, rendering someone's quirk unusable. Chakra and quirks have MANY similarities such as everyone have their own chakra aura (the feel of their chakra), chakra being a natural phenomenon of the body (after what happened with kagura), how humans before used to have no such powers. I think it's entirely possible for Aizawa to "erase" the ability to use chakra. It'll probably close the user's chakra points since that's the only way you can use chakra. If that's the case than Aizawa can do the one thing no one else in naruto can. Deactivate Kakashi's sharingan (transplanted uchiha eyes that were given to non uchiha people have permanent sharingan)
But then, given that his quirk deactivate body functions that activates abilities, technically wouldn't that mean Aizawa's quirk would deactivate the Tenketsu points where chakra is released? (or the part in the brain where sharingan chakra is released) as those would be like quirk factors?
EDIT: Just read ImmortalEmperor's comment. I think he would be able to do that as well!
Maybe he cannot deactivate superpowers from superheros from marvel or DC or maybe stop goku or vegeta from transforming or using ki attacks.

I don't really think that Eraser Head can cancel chackra based techniques with his quirk, but anyways i agree with the result. (Also, an important detail is that they used part 1's Kakashi in order to make the fight more balanced, i kind of like that)

They don't do research like "can this person's thing work in this instance?" they only go as far as common knowledge, for instance, knowing base level about aizawa is his grapple scarf and he cancels powers, vs kakashi who is best known for his role as the squad's mentor with all of his copied techniques from the first season arcs, both going all the way into all of shippuden for superpowered kakashi and discussing how eraser's quirk works detract from this just being a fun sprite animation
Silverslipstream I think it depens more on the animator who does the fight, some of them use little details of their powers and some of the not, and i wasn't complaining the fight i was more likely asking myself and the comment section, but i kind of agree with u
Pretty sure they gave him that perk for the sake of balance. Otherwise one of Aizawa's greatest strengths is basically useless. It's kinda like the idea that in a crossover universe, different powers are one and the same.

This was actually a damn good battle! I didn't know who was going to win, but figured Kakashi most likely would because, even without his Sharingan and Jutsus, he's still a f***ing badass! Well done!
This battle has so many layers to it like how once kakashi noticed aizawas ability he used his clone as a decoy to keep his eyes on them while he went underground smart shit man I love it
And when Kakashi tried to chidori him at the 47 second mark, Aizawa deactivated it and turned it into a regular punch.
This actually raises a good question.
Would Eraserheads quirk work on powers outside of his universe? Like say if you had a kid with a quirk who shoots lasers out of his eyes Eraserhead could shut him down right? But could he do that to cyclops or Superman?
alyo dublin I’m no MHA fan, but I believe that quirks serve as a natural human function in that universe. Not sure why, but it ought to be natural if a major plot point is the main character NOT having it. Going by this logic, he can shut down any function of the human body, like, say, the immune system. He just doesn’t because he’s not a sadist. By extension, this means that he can shut down chakra, which happens to be a ‘’natural function’’ of the human body (and just about everything, I think) in Naruto. So yes, he would be able to shut off Superman’s laser eyes, but not stuff like, say, his strength. I’m not sure about the flight, though, because I don’t think anyone really knows how it works.
Maybe even goku and Vegeta's ki so that they can't transform or do ki attacks.
InterGuy584 i think it’s anything u activate. The immune system is always active without thought but quirks have to be activated. So healing factors or natural strength wouldn’t get negated but laser eyes or activated strength(Sakura or Gate Lee) would. Chakra wouldn’t get negated since it’s natural but infusing chakra is activated so that would be negated imo.
The manga said that there’s a specific gene or something in the body that’s what gives a person their quirk and the ability to use it. Aizawa’s quirk specifically restricts that gene to make it so his opponent can’t use their quirk. Based on what the manga has told us, his quirk couldn’t work on abilities outside of his universe, nor could it work on any other bodily functions.

Aizawa's Erasure in Naruto Universe would probably be able to block chakra, unabling it manifest outside of the body. So he can erase all ninjutsu and genjutsu. He can't erase a birth charimats, like Sharingan, but can lessen their efficiency. In all honesty, Gai sensei and Rock Lee would be a good opponents for Aizawa since he can't erase taijutsu.
Plus, Chidori is a form of gathering chakra. Shouldn't Erasure cancel it ?
Doctor Discord No just no 🤦♂️ They did this to make it a *fair* fight. A quirk is a superhuman ability that can be inherited genetically or manifest a quirk unrelated to their genetic lineage. Does that sound like chakra? While charms is composed of two components Physical energy and Spiritual Energy. So no matter what Aizawa can’t erase it. Even *IF* he could Kakashi faster than the eye can see and can and will speed blitz Aizawa.
@@DHworldwide185 Yes end game kakashi is faster but the main point you are not seeing is that, when the two worlds meet laws have to bend. A quirk can manifest in many ways. What Erasure does is stop the forming of the quirk. Example If he looks at Bakugo, he still sweats nitroglycerin but he can not combust it and make it explode. SO the energy flow is there but the final manifestation is blocked. So Erasure can stop the fireball from forming and keep you from walking on water but he would not stop sharingan at most he would dilute it. Kakashi wins due to his many tools, tricks and years of experience
Niloc Snave No, what *you* understand is that Charka is NOT a quirk therefore he can still use ninjitsu and genjutsu. Hell even *If* he couldn’t (which he would) his taijutsu is more than enough to take down Aizawa as you said. We don’t have to bend anything to make this “fair” it’s a death battle. If you wanted fair you should of never compare these two. A better comparison in my opinion would be Kakashi vs Asta Bull master Yami I believe.
Niloc Snave Erasure would not affect chakra at all. Everyone born with a quirk has a quirk factor , usually where the quirk activates so like tail ppl have the quirk factor in the tail. Aizawa temporarily shuts off the factor so the abilities are nullified.
In Kaguya back story we see people are given chakra and that its legit nature/spirit energy.
People in Naruto aren’t born with factors and chakra isn’t only just a power source they pull from to perform moves for example fire moves are basically transforming chakra into flames to attack. Quirks are physical abilities too that can be cultivated. Chakra can just keep growing and don’t have physical advantages or weaknesses , and its nature energy.

I really hate all the comparisons between Bakugou and Sasuke cause I just don't think they're alike aside from being rivals of the protagonists of their shows, so I hope Bakugou fights someone more interesting when his time comes up.

kakashi was trying stop naruto from the start since he got the wrong guy. kakashi was just doing his job protecting his student. he just had the instinct that aizawa would be trouble. there's no reason for him to kill aizawa over naruto's mistake.

This makes no sense, since Aizawa can only erase Quirks, but it’s still an amazing animation and I love it.
If you don’t modify his abilities to work on whatever the universe’s version of Quirks is, you basically get a nerfed Aizawa.
