True, something weird about the Naruto series is someone like Sasuke is always getting stronger and new abilities. Picking a Sasuke at a specific point is way different in the next. Which I think they could, technically speaking, point out at which spot in the show they are using the characters so everyone can see exactly where they stand when using the character.
vasto lorde ichigo isnt even ichigo at his strongest, his strongest would be when he faught Yhwach with his new bankai, Aizen who still had the full power of the hougyoku acknowledged that Ichigo was the only one capable of dealing a fatal wound to Ywach implying that new bankai Ichigo has power comparable to Mugetsu Ichigo, who was so strong he was able to cut away mountains without touching them and without utilizing mugetsu

Ichigo is literally a death god. Sasuke, especially by the end of Naruto is also very godly, but the spiritual plains of Bleach are far larger than the Shinobi World.

He Didnt win in the sense of him using the sharingan to make an illusion to escape. As the fight was correct up until the final hit seeing he couldnt match ichigo in strength or speed he knew he had to make that split second decision to put him to sleep, but still took the hit in the end as we saw him cough up the blood. Meaning he lost but used a technique to escape as we saw that it didnt keep ichigo down for long and he woke up pretty quickly

Two things. First off, If Ichigo went under and summoned out his inner Hollow I highly doubt genjutsu would work especially if sasuke goes into Ichigo's mind and has to fight the ever more powerful hollow. Sasuke's counter to that should have been Susano, and lastly, Ichigo can win vs any of Sasuke's defenses and summons with the Final Getsuga.

Ichigo has Sasuke beat for raw power, there's no question there.
But Sasuke has Ichigo beat in terms of smart planning.
Actually Ichigo is pretty smart when fighting. He observes all of his enemies attacks. He is very observant and creates tactics during the battle just like he did with renji and Gin. (Gin being one of the most lethal captains) and renji being the most stubborn. Ichigo would’ve been dead along time ago in the series had he not been observant and strategic against byakuya and kenpachi.

@@Bob-wr4vg He does you have to change your Spirit energy flow in order to break out of Genjutsu so Ichigo could easily break out just by flexing his spirit energy or talking to both Zangetsu which is something he does all the time also Tsukuyomi had no effect at all on the reanimated Shinobi so Genjutsu probably wouldn’t even work on Ichigo at all since he’s a Shinigami so yes Ichigo destroy’s Sasuke badly

I think I know why they claim ichigo won. Sasuke put him in the genjutsu right before he landed the (illusion) finishing blow. Ichigo landed the all those attacks for real, and then at 2:44 he starts to walk over to sasuke after the big KO screen. This moment is when sasuke put him in the illusion. Sasuke was losing, so he used genjutsu to escape. I guess they count that as a loss because Sasuke wouldn't have needed to 'escape' if he was winning. ( please don't respond unless you understand what I'm saying. )

i would agree, but the uchiha use genjutsu as a tool of combat and all the times I've seen it used it was never for escape. sauske could of just as easily removed ichigos head while he was still in trance, nor did sauske use his "demon" form he had at the beginning of shippuden so its safe to assume he didn't go all out.. they used ealry shippuden sauske and early banci ichigo.. sauske had demon form and ichigo had bankai and at the time hallow ichigo was making him skitso

Sasuke: can create eternally burning flames, create a giant armored being around himself which can shoot arrows, can shift spaces (teleport), can use fire and lightning, can create illusions, and can copy techniques.
Ichigo: can shoot slicey sword thingies which can cut through things, can move faster than a person can blink, can become a hollow which can shoot incredibly op laser blasts, can shoot an even stronger sword slicey thing at the cost of all of his power, and can use his full, final bankai which allows him to have his sword break twice, then have pieces fall away to reveal that it looks just like his first sword, and do an opier op sword slicey thing.

Ichigo does not possess chakra so none of Sasuke's Genjutsu would work on him. The only hope he has of winning is catching Ichigo off guard but considering that Ichigo is currently a Quincy/Hollow/Shinigami hybrid, that's damn near impossible.
Ichigo has survived some crazy shit. The darts that Grimmjow hit him with were enough to obliterate a pillar that was about as big and thick as a skyscraper and he took FIVE of those and could still fight. In his hollow form, Ichigo crushed Ulquiorra's Lanza Del Ralempago, which was practically a hydrogen bomb in terms of explosive power.
Ichigo survived SOSUKE AIZEN'S FINAL HOLLOW FORM. He casually brushed aside a full incantation Kurohitsugi by SOSUKE AIZEN and survived Ultrafragor, commenting "Is that all you've got Aizen?".
Ichigo has done some insane shit in terms of durability, which last I checked was never Sasuke's strong suit till he got the Rinnegan. That's not counting the fact that he can move just as fast as Sasuke (he can only use his Rinnegan swapping ability in intervals) if not faster, he's dimensions stronger than him in actual physical strength (the wake of a slash obliterated a mountain) and a bunch of other things.
Sasuke's pretty damn strong, but Ichigo is literally a GOD OF DEATH. He's on a different plane compared to Sasuke. The only chance Sasuke has is hitting Ichigo with an attack before he realizes he's there. Otherwise, there's no way he'd beat Ichigo in a straight up fight.
Should also point out Kurohitsugi is stated to warp space and time. Which does go a bit beyond conventional durability.

Pretty sure Reiatsu and Chakra are pretty much the same thing (spirit life energy) so yeah it makes sense for Genjutsu to work on him.
Reiatsu and Chakra are virtually the same thing and serve virtually the same purpose. There's no reason why sasuke wouldn't be able to see him or interact with him. Theoretically the Naruto worlds laws of physics are still well in line with Bleach's so there's no reason to suggest that Shinigami wouldn't or couldn't exist in the narutoverse as well.

This fight was great and definitely one of the best animated ones i have seen! Hyun's animations are as great as ever!
I like how its early Bleach Ichigo (end of season 3) and early Shippuden Sasuke. It makes the fight more entertaining and accurate without bringing in all of their OP techniques like Susanoo and Hollow Ichigo.

this is one minute melee remember that have to always end it in some interesting way, but ichigo won, before he could kill sasuke, he got put under genjutsu(which wouldn't work in ichigo), all it did was make him fall asleep so that sasuke could get away with naruto, you even see sasuke cough up blood at the end.

This is kind of ridiculous, and _exactly_ why we *need* research on these battles. Sasuke posses the ability to stop time, shift people to other dimensions, and take control of minds in his vinicity...sound familiar? They should: *they are the EXACT POWERS Aizen possessed that made him so hard a boss for Ichigo to fight in the Helcio Mundo arc!* Now, the question to what degree they are active is a different story, but 2 things occur to me here:
1]Ichigo is a _spiritual being_ in his Shini Gami form, meaning all that power _might not_ translate on regular physical earth quite so well.
2] If were putting both characters at their peak, than tyhey _undercut_ sasuke; ichigo went into his _bankai_ form, and Sasuke didn;t even use his _initial_ demon form, let alone _Susanoo_ , which, even if it didn;t outstrip Ichigo's speed, which it _couldn't_ have, DEFINTELY works on the level of _at least_ a captain level _Bankai_ ; damn things have flames that *burn spirits!* That;s not something even a Soul Reaper would be immune to.
But again, this is all supposition... *becacuse we DON;T have any RESEARCH to VALIDATE IT!* Either way, I just don;t think this fight, or any of the fights with the Naruto characters, we accurately or fairly put through. Then again, they screwed over Kenpachi in his fight with Akuma, so...yeah.
Erm, peak version Ichigo as of now in his bankai has double swords, and can use hollow, quincy and shinigami powers at the same time. Don't follow the anime, follow the manga. Anime is for the weak.

And if they were doing that for Ichigo, then basically, they'd have to give Sasuke his Sage of the 6 Paths powers, which were powerful enough to seal a world destroying entity. Again, the research would have _made_ that plain, and showcased thepower output for both sides. June Blah . Babes, see the other part of this comment. My point is that with no research, there's no clear _reason_ other than fandom that one character wins a battle over another.

Helios Sting True enough, but just because the Naruto manga officially ended, doesn;t mean the _story_ has ended; there have been a number of added on post-close chpaters showing the lives of our Konoha kids grown up, and even Naruto's son Bolt [Baruto] has been expanded to the point of where it's now a second series. To your pont of Ichigo's power output, I agree, he's only growing more and more as the series continues.... but that's kind of an issue inherent with most shonenaction manga; beyond a certain point, the beings get so crazy amped, theoretically, *nothing* should be able to stand against them. This again goes towards the point of research; even if the limits are ever expanding, at least the _current_ full potential or a plausible projection of it is put forth in DB; without those, all we can do is _speculate_ on supposed effects andcounters for each character. A good example of this would be the _Dante vs Bayonetta_ battle.

This was pretty fair I think.
Ichigo was strong enough to completely obliterate mountains with a single swing of his sword (with the wave of it, not even the actual contact) and he's MUCH faster than Sasuke when he goes Bankai.
Bear in mind they did not make Ichigo use his mask and that's not counting his Vasto Lorde or Mugetsu form.
Sasuke in his current state here doesn't even stand a chance unless he catches Ichigo in a Genjutsu, and even then it might not work cause Ichigo has broken out of some ridiculous stuff. Maybe Rinnegan Sasuke will have a chance, but to make it fair Ichigo would have to become the Quincy/Hollow/Shinigami fusion he was at the end of the manga and he was strong enough to make SOSUKE AIZEN acknowledge he would be the only one strong enough to deal the killing blow to Yhwach, who had hacks upon hacks within his hacks that also had hacks.

Sasuke AND Madara do that in their sleep also Ichigo isn't faster than Sasuke and they are about equal with Sasuke having the slight advantage because of his eyes (watch The last battle between Naruto and Sasuke) Sasuke was always naturally fast. AFAIK Ichigo has no mental defenses, and he's not exactly a smart cookie. Rinne-sharingan genjutsu i think wins here. Ichigo is stronger, but he definitely doesn't go the whole fight without taking a tsukoyomi, or even worse, Izanami.
Mike Teddy Jiraiya explained to Naruto the penultimate way to get out of a genjutsu is to have outside interference. This allowed Naruto to get out of a genjutsu by 30% Itachi and Bee to get out of a genjutsu by Sasuke. Ichigo has Old Man Zangetsu and Hollow Ichigo in his mind. They have interrupted Ichigo in fights to help him before. Ichigo can get out of genjutsu.
Few Glow Though they are in his mind, so likely they would be hit by the same genjutsu due to how it all works. The chakra that would be interfering with the brain, if those figments are in his mind, it would be hitting 3 for the price of 1. Then izanami is just insane.
Either way, the advantage of genjutsu in this instance would still be key, just because it 'can' be broken, doesn't mean it will. Tsukiyomi is capable of making worlds that are identical to the real world, so, as ichigo isn't intimately familiar with genjtusu, yet alone the strongest of them. How would he know that his opponent simply isn't godlike? I doubt he's smart enough to realize the illusion to break out.
Mike Teddy A zanpakuto spirt isn't a fragment of a soul reapers mind, it is a separate entity that can spirituality communicate through its wielder's mind. It physical body is a sword. If what you were saying were true then Myuri would have died when he snapped his sword in Grantz. Genjutsu is manipulating a targets nervous system through their Chakra. A sword doesn't have a nervous system. Hollow Ichigo can't be affected by genjutsu.
Theres also the fact that neither of them went all out in this. It's still limited to 1 minute so they couldn't put everything in. The sharingan and Amaterasu wasn't in for sasuke, yet the 2nd bankai form wasn't in this either. The form that was in this one is only 10% as powerful as the 2nd bankai form, not to mention if he used the mask. The winner would still be Ichigo. Don't get me wrong, Naruto is a better anime, but Ichigo is just more overpowered
Even so, Sasuke can still take advantage of the small time he has to do something like Amaterasu or Kamui. Although I do see your perspective.

For all the Bleach fans that don't watch naruto, Sasuke put him under a genjutsu which is kind of like a dream/different reality, so when it said ichigo won it was still part of the genjutsu. If u still don't understand when Ichigo delivers the final hit on sasuke, it looks like sasuke dies that was part of the genjutsu, you can tell because after it shows sasuke leaving with naruto and ichigo was on the floor still in the genjutsu, this means sasuke could have killed him because he was still in the genjutsu but decided not to (for some reason) so ichigo didn't win.
XD From now on, when I watch these, I'll just guess who _should_ win, then assume that the other one _will_ win in these videos.
they usually do go for a surprise and avoid the fan favorite cleche.
but often they've got some good reasoning behind it.
In this case, sasuke couldn't touch ichigo's raw power until MAYBE when he got Six Paths powers but Ichigo has no defense against genjutsu and other ninja magic-like abilities, so the result that we got is about right.

At the end of the day, Sasuke is the smarter fighter and he has the sharingan and rinnegan which would make it so Sasuke could anticipate and counter every one of Ichigo's attacks. I will concede that Ichigo has way more raw power, but raw power means nothing behind someone who isn't going to fight strategically. Honestly, even in the current Narutoverse, Sasuke's sharingan makes him way more powerful than any other character. Like Sasuke could literally beat Saitama if Saitama had any weaknesses. That's what the sharingan does; exploit weakness and anticipate attack. It basically makes someone a master strategist as long as they have the able body and skill coupled with it.
Try this battle again with Sasuke having the rinnegan. Then ichigo would get his ass whooped.

However, had Sasuke chose to kill Ichigo, he could have, as Ichigo was completely incapacitated by the Genjutsu. So... it was really a toss in the air.

1:33 as soon as this happened I knew Ichigo was stuck in a genjutsu and had already lost. If both of them were at full power Sasuke would win. I'm not reading the Naruto Manga but I am on Bleach, with they new form he has would do a lot of damage if he caught Sasuke off guard with the Gran Rey Cero thing but then again, most of Ichigo's power rely on being up close or when in doubt Getsuga Tenshou, both are blocked by Susanoo and not forgetting the power of the Sharingan, Genjutsu (yes I know Ichigo doesn't have Chakra) and the ability to see a moment into what's about to happen, when Ichigo uses his Flash step or Sonido whatever you guys decide it is, Sasuke can look at him and burn him with Amaterasu (major floor in the Amaterasu's use there).

"This oughta be a match to remember" Im pretty sure that means that they will fight again. My personal opinion: They took a lot earlier and weaker version of sasuke, because the actual sasuke is much much stronger (But maybe they did the same with ichigo)
