Because Android 17 was absorbed by Cell and Piccolo was offended by his lips so they couldn’t show semi-perfect Cell due to the fact that others could be offended as well.
Maybe beforehand cell already absorbed 17 and this was when vegeta was flying to kill semi perfect cell but because he fought shadow the hedgehog cell absorbed 18 in the meantime.
Because there was probably no sprites for the Imperfect form at the time.

D'Realitz Kind of a waste of a "bonus fight" in all honesty. The animation time could've been put to better use for a more interesting and suspenseful OMM. I feel like these battles are just pointless if all they do is just show bias in them(Kenpachi vs Oni)

Branch to be fair, vegeta can most likely destroy multiple solar systems in his base form, currently, if not more, so if anything, they weakened vegeta
+Death Shadow They didn't weaken him at all. The Vegeta in this fight is the much weaker Android Saga Vegeta, who had only just gotten Super Saiyan.
Meanwhile, the Goku who "fought" Sonic for April Fools' was from DBS.
Despite what most think, Vegeta may be able to kill shadow in base form but Super Shadow can obliterate galaxies, is completely invincible, and can infinitely rise power with the chaos emeralds. And the only reason the games have a ring limit to the super form is because it needs to be challenging. but in the comics (which are canon) it's been proven that any character can sustain a super form for weeks on end. However in this instance shadow probably didn't have the emeralds on hand and if he did, he didn't have enough time to use them because it's a one minute match with no analysis. Super forms in sonic are far more powerful than Super saiyan in dbz but using only game logic, super forms for sonic are useless, but using the comics as a factor makes them godlike. Just saying. In the scenario death battle presented Shadow would most definitely meet his end. Same with this. and please for the love of god, stop the edge comments! If i used guns all the time, had a deep voice and was constantly pissed because my best friend died right in front of me would I be edgy? and being pissy and angry all the time like Vegeta isn't edgy either. Both Shadow and Vegeta have shown numerous times were they smile, and cry so I don't see any edge. And let's be real here, 50 seconds isn't enough for Shadow to kill Vegeta without the chaos emeralds in most instances.

Was this really even considered a battle? I'm pretty sure 110% of everyone who watched this knew vegeta was gonna win.
Well Shadow wasn't given Super form, Or Dark Hell form, So this was an extremely unfair fight, Give Shadow Super form, And even get him into Dark Hell Shadow, And Vegetable would have been toast.
Though, Vegeta has Super Saiyan God Blue, which kinda %50 makes him universal. 2nd of all, if you haven't seen Death Battle Shadow vs Mewtwo and according to the Sonic Universe, Shadow does have a Bad Memory. So if that happened in a battle between Mewtwo again or any other saiyan in the Dragon Ball Universe, Shadow would be crushed. Again, he has a bad memory.;-; There are many reasons why Vegeta is stronger than Shadow. Shadow's Super Form is the same power as Kaioken or a Super Saiyan. Dark Hell Shadow is like Power Leveled Super Saiyan 3. None of Shadow's forms are near Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan(Super Saiyan Blue.) This gives Vegeta an upper hand for this battle. Many more reasons why Vegeta can defeat Shadow easly.

Wario loses to Shadow, because no, he can't keep up with Shadow's speed (Let alone time manipulation via Chaos Control), and while he's far more durable in base, Wario-Man is not invincible and is totally outclassed by Super Shadow.
Neosonic97 but wario is still smarter, ( he fought bomber man to a stand still, built a teloportor in seconds, he has clones that can fight for him like doctor doom did) stronger (lifting dinomighty is a better feat than the tug of war feat shadow did) and its the closest Mario vs sonic matchup you could do.
I don't mean he's faster I mean the gap between wario's speed is close enough to fight back, ( his max speed is him running over oceans and escaping a pyramid in under a minute) unlike Mario or Luigi

+average person Super Shadow can last as long as it wants while Wario-Man can last as long as the onion is in the stomach.

Well you clearly don't realize that Shadow could have won this if it this was a serious match. Shadow's Chaos Form and Super form would have ended Vegeta. Super Shadow has invincibility, infinite power, infinite speed and can become equal to anyone's level. Super forms are the most logic breaking forms in the Segaverse. Super Shadow is equal to Super Sonic. Base Shadow how ever is far more powerful than Base Sonic. Base Sonic needs a power up or a chaos emerald to even the odds cuz his only natural power is speed and that alone won't beat Shadow. Shadow also could have used Chaos control with out the emerald due to his unlimited connection to the Chaos force. Something only he and emerald guardians have.
1.I like the Sonic series more but there is no way Shadow could beat Vegeta regardless if he was serious or not.
2.The super forms in the Sonic series grants invulnerability,flight n enhanced everything else but the form cannot last n the DB characters have gotten much stronger.
3.Ur right Super Shadow n Super Sonic r equal but in their normal forms how is Shadow stronger than Sonic? n i see this comment alot but no one has ever stated how.

tatsunoko98 You are right the chaos force is in the comics. But the games are not the main canon. In fact Sonic is just mascot character. So anything can be used. Plus the comics are more consistent due to story not being limited by game play. And yes Super forms can last. Again Super Sonic last for weeks on end in Sonic Advanced. Proof right there. And Shadow is confirmed being able to use Chaos control with out emeralds due to the chaos force. And Shadow never needed power ups to match Sonic. In fact Shadow fought Sonic with just his powers alone and Sonic needed power ups to match him. Sonic is no where near the level of power, strength and durability of Shadow. The only thing he has better then Shadow is speed. Shadow admitted he can't out "run" Sonic but Sonic admitted he can't out "fight" Shadow. Shadow is the most powerful of the main cast. Not physically the strongest but by far the most powerful. Shadow is stronger than Sonic by far. Plus he is smarter and a better fighter and has killer instincts. Also Super Shadow will still out match Vegeta cuz again Super forms can match any level. In the comics it's confirmed Super forms can even match Omnipotent beings. Super Shadow is capable of the same feats. So again you can't just go by games. Plus the comics have the same stories a s the game but with added continuity to make it it's own. Plus there is a multiverse in the Sonic franchise.

Super Shadow is equal to Super Sonic but only because the Super forms have infinite power and speed and invincibility and can equal any level of power. Again I use both comics and games plus some games are no canon with each other like Sonic Battles for example. But Shadow has feats that prove he surpasses Vegeta SSB. Vegeta maybe universal level but Super Shadow is multiversal level. Remember Super forms are the most logic breaking forms in the Sonic Franchise. And again there is no time limit. Never was. Sonic Advanced and the comics confirms this. In fact there never was a time limit in any Sonic game. There was collecting rings to keep the form going but that's not a time limit. And in Smash bros the only added a time limit so the form wouldn't be broken. The collecting rings was only put there cuz due to the forms invincibility they had to make you collect rings so the level has a challenge. Geez get you facts right.

Archie sonic series is way more powerful than anything in DBZ so no they aren't infinitely more powerful. I'm not a sonic fan nor read the comics but I have read their feats and they are above DB. People right now are on a hate bandwagon with any sonic vs DB character. Even this channel seems to have a real hate on for any sonic character for the amount of times they have lost. And no this battle isn't done by research, it's done by the creators pref on who he wants to win. You can tell he is a DB fanwanker the way he has them win all the time.

People often say that this was probably the least biased fights ever, take time to remember that, this was made in 2016; a time where sonic had YET AGAIN become the punching bag of the internet because of Sonic Boom. An easy way to get popular online around this time was by doing something relating to bashing Sonic or any of his friends in any type of way. Plus, Shadow never took off his inhibitor rings, or ever actually used any of his Chaos moves aside from Spear at the start and a singular chaos control, not a single actual chaos blast or powered up chaos spear. This was a snack for my eyes don't get me wrong, but still. I just thought I'd point this out.
