Small correction he also sent dio back in time cuz springtrap can’t teleport people he can actually move people through time.
As someone who’s favorite fictional villains are both Dio and Springtrap (as well as Tricky, which lets be honest would fit in this battle just fine given his connections to both characters), you honestly have no idea how happy this video makes me.
Given both of their skill sets this is genuinely such a fun matchup, so fun in fact that you could quite literally forget the obvious stat stomps and still be satisfied with the interactions itself afterwards.
Like, Springtrap using his illusions to counter Dio’s timestop, the phantoms and the world attacking each other even though by the rules of their series probably shouldn’t even be able to interact with each other at all, to William Afton hijacking the GODDAMN ROAD ROLLER?
This animation is honestly a service to both franchises and their communities, I’m glad you reflected both of these maniacle geniuses intellect in battle.
I like how Springtrap didn’t even necessarily “win” nor did Dio exactly “lose” either, Dio is simply too intellegent to fall for Springtrap’s tricks, and Springtrap is smart enough to know Dio would’ve killed him him if not for his abilities at his disposal.
This matchup does not deserve to work as well as it does honestly, there’s like WAYYY too many connections for a videogame series about killer pizzeria animatronics and a fucked up bloodline.
And my biggest surprise was definitely the use of the ROA sprites.
I don’t know why, but I always had this belief that rivals sprites wouldn’t really work that well in sprite animations since they’re already heavily animated, but you proved me wrong just by using a little bit of creativity.
You summed up the enjoyment of this animation perfectly. Something that could’ve easily been a, haha Dio one shots Springtrap cause he’s way stronger, turns into one of the most creative sprite animations I’ve seen in a while.
One could argue that springtrap did win this one since he just dropped dio in front of ichigo, luffy, and zoro. No way that goes well for dio. Indirect win but a win nonetheless. (I am aware dio stomps just thought it was a fun point)

@@gamercentral2417 I wouldn’t necessarily say every animatronic gets one shotted. Though you admittedly have to get very specific to find any animatronics that actually match or even surpass Dio.
How did Springtrap teleport Dio? Saw the theories about him on Game Theory but never got into the game myself
I like how Dio being surprised Springtrap could see stands was its own little moment.
Thinking about it, doesn’t fire and heat weaken the soul metal shit that Springtrap is made of? Maybe that’s why Dio was about to win immediately after the explosion.
Yup. Fire and heat can burn away Remnant which is the thing that makes him immortal.
@@A-1412 yet for some reason never works on William, he survived the first fire as “dark Springtrap” and later in fnaf pizza sim he survives by putting his consciousness into a chip or something to become Glitchtrap. Why doesn’t fire work?

William endures only agony, a lot of agony, which replaced William’s entire Remnant
Agony has a healing factor that can restore the entire body if given enough time. Agony also increases the Strength of the one experiencing it.
The problem with agony is that you can only get rid of it with positive emotions, which William does not have

After William escaped the UCN, he created a new body for himself called Agony and William named himself Agony.
As for the healing factor, William's arm began to slowly recover. Scraptrap was missing one of his arms, but after the events his arm became overgrown with flesh covering the bone.
in the books they said how to destroy agony, that positive emotions can destroy agony, there is no other advice

I feel like with DIO matchups they're at their best when You go all out with both characters and take everything into account, I have a similar feeling to dio vs skeletor

the win condition doesn't always mean 'kill'', its either knock them out, have the last hit/combo, or BFR.
Springtrap can react to Dio's the world punches and can create illusions see souls as well so he can see Dio's stand
Furthermore Springtrap can just send him away via agony and has so many counters to Dio's attacks I can go into detail if you would like to hear more but listen to me when I say this result is accurate but Dio puts up a AMAZING fight ngl

I didn't like the thing OMN was replaced with, personally, but this seems pretty good. The animation is solid and it doesn't beat around the bush with anything else.

i saw the un-edited fight on Twitter and hoped to see the full fight, this did not disappoint i can tell you that, its really awesome and i really enjoyed that you made Springtrap have these cool abilities by giving him his Glitch powers from Princess Quest and made him a summoner, overall 10/10 animation i love it 👍

Okay, I know this is a fan made of One Minute Melee, but I really missed this show myself! I was really attracted into it before I see Death Battle and DBX! The sprite animation was awesome aswell! Seeing how Springtrap overpowered Dio & won the battle (somehow) was awesome! Nice job! Keep it up!

I had a friend link this to me, and I assumed it was an official match, so the way the winner conclusion was delivered practically filleted me, GOD.
But my own goofiness aside, this was some excellent stuff. I love how IMMEDIATE this just went, and how you were able to make a match up that feels as goofy as "JoJo vs Five Nights" just. Work? And Go So Hard???
I cwn't think of a fight I'd wanna recommend, because you got some cracked talent, and I'd love to see whatever you make next. Easiest sub I've made in a while here.
Seeing The World punching phantom animatronics is something I never thought needed but now I deserve it
One thing I don’t see mentioned enough is the amazing choreography in this fight. You can tell how much attention is put into it.
The way Dio fights is quick and overpowering. Showing his distinct physical advantage over the much less powerful Springtrap.
While on the other hand, William is smart and slippery. Using every trick he has in his book to get around anything Dio throws at him. The ability to see his stand (I’m not sure exactly what that’s in reference to, but uh… I guess there’s probably something in FNAF that let’s him see things related to stands?), illusions to prevent himself from getting hit and to counter the time stop, possession of electronics, and a bunch of other abilities. It’s always fun to see a unique type of fight like this that isn’t just two ragdolls trading punches all willy-nilly.
My only concern is that I’m not sure how to feel about Springtrap winning this? I mean, I’m more of a FNAF fan then a Jojo fan, so I’ll take it. But like, only one of these fighters got split in half and seemingly knocked out at the end. I know Springtrap was the one to teleport Dio, but I don’t think that necessarily gives him the win.
I love the fight it was entertaining, the ending makes sense that Springtrap would want to be away from DIO however to make him the winner threw me off. Was it a ring out fight if that's the case? This is the only issue I have. Great video 7/10

Love how Dio hits the steam roller with his elbow, just like in canon, even if he’s not necessarily using it to crush anyone.
Both are the main reasons for the troubles in the first part, no present but their consequences are present in the second part and they return in the third part.

I know I'm a bit late, but what a way to start off this series. As tough as he is, realistically Springtrap probably wouldn't stand a chance against DIO, even if you included all of his material, which you did. But they both kept on fighting, right to the bitter end. I can't really describe the best parts myself, but what I'm trying to say is this is amazing!
I am curious though, when did Springtrap ever use a giant hammer?
Also, I forgot to ask. How was Springtrap able to teleport DIO somewhere else at the last second? When could he do something like that?

Second, not only do I not know what you're referring to by 2022 William, but I also haven't read through all the Fazbear Frights stories yet. I know how the general storylines go, but I have yet to read the rest personally. Think you can be more specific of what 2022 William you mean, as well as what Fazbear Frights and where to find the Agony form you mentioned? If it isn't too much trouble. I'm just still confused about some things.
Also , I know the sprites are Mugen, I wasn't talking about them at all.
@@russelljacobsen8751 2022 - William, when he was a canon glitchtrap, now glitch trap is rewritten and can be a Mimic.
As for the mugen, the hammer is a special weapon.

Agony is all of William's anger, combining many mechanical parts into one body.
agony can destroy buildings, has the ability to infect things and is extremely difficult to kill, the very durability of agony is also somewhere at the level of a building, but its survivability is extremely high; For complete death you need to destroy all its parts
