I’m on that same journey of wanting better mobility and strength. I have never ran a mile. So for the past few weeks I’ve been training to run one. I have also never done a cartwheel or a handstand and I just think it would heal my inner child so much to feel that freedom in my body. Because I too have been big my whole life and have talked myself out of certain things that now I feel empowered to try. So excited to be along in your journey too!

Thank you for your flower story. I’ve been having a hard time with seeing the way love can be portrayed in movies and social media and it gets me down sometimes and that just made my heart feel really comforted and happy. Also you are giving me the motivation to get back into sourdough again. I had to take 3 rounds of antibiotics and have had a lot of stomach issues because of it and I want to get back into taking care of my gut health.
Girl I am the same, I have things that I like that I just keep for myself. I don't need anyone else to like them to make me appreciate them.

I'm definitely on a similar growth path. I'm finding myself doing señora things now. Like, I'm a whole ass plant lady now. My house is full of plants, but I've learned it's what makes me happy 😊.

As for goals, I set less body goals and more activity goals this year. I’m doing pretty good! I wanted less screen time and to get back into cross stitching.
As for the pans, I agree. I have Always Pans and I swear the internet has made me scared to ruin them so I hardly use them!

I feel the same way you do about Spanish, but for French. Grew up speaking French and English but moved away from my home province and haven’t needed to use it on a daily basis for over a decade. I can still understand 100% but my fluency is probably at 70%. I forget a lot of words and sometimes conjugation escapes me 😅

Girl I get it!! We all want to see our iwn strength. Today my daughter asked if DAD could move a box of hers to the top shelf of her cleat and I picked it up lifted it and placed it and my daughter was thrilled to see that her mom did that! It was great! For her to tell me I was strong was wonderful!! I get it!
I am late to the party…. But goals… I made a goal to walk 500 “intentional” miles this year… (not including everyday walking, only “go on a walk” miles) and I too am on a mobility journey and I will tell you Nourished Natasha on RUclips (yoga) has been a game changer!!!

Violin is alto clef and cello is bass clef! Piano uses 2 clefs: treble and bass. Piano is the best instrument to learn music theory and ear training !!

I started a small little Etsy business 8 months-ish ago and my goal this year has been work harder and exceed what I’ve had done in 2023. So far I’ve been doing that so excited to see what’s to come. So funny you were talking about your flowers drying is art because that’s exactly why I started my business 😅 I love dried flowers so I started making jewelry/accessories with them! ❤
Ooo Nahla should definitely learn the Cello to get to the piano!! Knowing both bass clef and treble clef for piano will help a lot! I played clarinet in school then taught myself a little piano and I wish I understood bass clef more to use my left hand on piano

I cant wait for gardening season either .I just turned 50 2/2 but i started my goals in Jan not like a resolution cause i never keep them but small goals . I got a treadmill at my age you need to more move .lol Love your bread and i love to make it home made too but i need one of the razor things i just use a regular razor and try not to cut myself...lol

Yes the piano has treble and base. She already would know the placement of key (line space) on both… very helpful. I started out learning piano when was 10 yo and played all time till mid 20s. I’m 47 now and have a piano fund that been saving on the back burner because I want a piano in my house … might be a 50th birthday gift to myself.

ETA: the flower story was so sweet! I think a lot of us are on the same growth path this year. Nothin crazy town banana pants, just "small" things that will improve our overall happiness/mental well being (and physical too, sometimes). One of my goals last year was to do the splits. I used an app called Splits Training and it worked!
Well, that settles it. There really IS an app for everything! 😀

You are meant to turn those loaves out of the banneton then score the other side. I'm not sure if you did it the other way on purpose cause you were out of parchment paper but just wanted to mention it! I imagine you'll get a better rise that way too cause the top of the bread (that is in contact with the liner) stays moist, so it has less resistance.

SARAH!! I got on Ww because u talked about it, I just had my 4th baby, and I am ready for my post baby era body. It has gone SOOOOOO well and it hasn’t been difficult really at all. I have stayed consistent and strong and I’m so proud of myself. After a month I’ve lost 15lbs. Thank you for that. Thought I would share cause of you talk about goals. Still have 50 lbs to go but I’m well on the way!! 😊

Love watching you make bread. I am finally moving somewhere where I will have enough counter space to make things like bread and I am so excited to get started. Aww LG was so sweet for doing that.♥️ I always think man I wish I knew how to pour resin or make candles when I have dying flowers because they look so pretty. Funnily enough I’ve never been able to do a cartwheel either I have super weak wrists. I’ve been strength training for a while so I’m hoping eventually to get better. I don’t know if this would be too much, but regarding working on your Spanish, what if you did a “cook with me” video / series highlighting your favorite Latin recipes and talk us through it in Spanish & English, for example your Cooking With Claudia book. I’ve seen some short form creators do this with Makeup tutorials it’s opportunity to showcase nostalgic recipes & Mexican culture. 💖
