Girl I LOVE my career…I’m in medical billing, I work from home, and it’s a dream come true. I went through a medical billing program 20 years ago but a lot of healthcare systems now are willing to train the right candidate. I work 6am-2:30pm, with an hour lunch break…on my lunch I can cook, I can nap, or I can journal, read, or whatever I want. It’s beautiful, it really is…I’m very, very lucky ❤

The black bottom on your tomatoes is called “blossom end rot” and is usually caused by inconsistent watering (either at the fault of the gardener or during periods of heavy rain/drought). Often, the first round of tomatoes will have this - just cut them off (so the plant isn’t still trying to ripen them) and let them continue to grow.
Yes, all those things flowered and bolted/“went to seed” (your lettuces that have grown into a “tower” also probably taste very bitter and are bad as well). In the future, try to pluck flowers off when you see them forming and you can prolong the growth. Things go to seed when it gets too hot outside - nothing you’ve done wrong. I’ve never had luck with cilantro here in the Midwest, but try again in the fall when the weather is cooler.
Cucumbers struggle in the heat too - when you see them start to get wonky shaped/misshapen, they’re probably bitter and gross. You can make pickles or something with them to help get rid of some of that bitterness.

About the dried mangoes...WARNING...I went on a kick where I ate a lot of them for about 4 months. I ended up with 8 cavities in between my teeth. A lot of folks who eat dried fruit recommend eating celery stalks right afterwards or making sure she's REALLY flossing her teeth because it can cause a lot of damage. Don't be like me. lol.
Okkk wait… this actually makes so much sense? I didn’t have my first cavity till I was 18… I only had 2 by the time I was 24, in a year from 24-25 I had 7 cavities!!! Nothing changed in my dental hygiene however I did eat tj dried mangos every single day. Hmmm now I really am curious is that’s why…
And it can also constipate you unless you drink lots of liquid!😢
I became a licensed esthetician right before covid…I haven’t fully worked as one yet, but trying to get to that point. I love being able to help others feel good about themselves and I’m at an age where I just want to be happy with what I do.

I'm really familiar with what you are talking about-- what is life??? I started to feel that way when my kid was in fourth grade, and was going to be at the middle school for 6th. I was making plans, psyching myself up to get a jobby job again, etc. Then the pandemic hit, I went into a very long depression, and I'm only now starting to feel like I might be ready to do something. And he's going into 8th next month.
I'm not sure what the answer is, but it's all normal and part of maturing and the next season of life. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do, and what you decide is your next step! xoxo

I work for the Tax Office in my county. We do collections of taxes for businesses and we do titles for cars truck boats and so on. I like it and the benefits are great! It’s a new job for me, a lot to learn. I’m grateful for it! We have a lot of holidays! 😊
I work a hybrid schedule (at home and in office) for an addiction rehab center as a data specialist and I love it. I was able to pick my hours, 6:30am to 3pm. On my lunch break I can run errands, work out or take a nap even. It's really great. But it took me 6 years to get to this point, had to work my way up. I think finding a job you love doing is a rare thing for a lot people.

I bought that Boars Head Carmelized onion cheese a while back and made the best grilled cheese sandwiches ever!! Sour dough bread, lots of butter and just that cheese. So good!!! Paired with the Pacific creamy tomato soup, yum!

im a process engineer! i went to school for chemical engineering and graduated May 2022 and got this job in minerals and mining in October 2022! i like what i do (don’t get me wrong, i do have days where i want to pull my hair out) but i get to be hands on, travel, and learn something new everyday! very lucky to be 23 and have a career i enjoy. you have been a huge inspiration to me and have made me want to work hard and be able to support myself and the ones i love! can’t wait to see more gardening and baking adventures!! sending you all my love and good vibes❤️🌱☀️

I work for a start up salad drive thru for the last 5 years! I’m basically a project coordinator for their new store openings! I handle communication with each department leading up to the training and actual opening day of each location. I love the teams I get to meet and the traveling! But I also have been having the itch for something new.

We bought two packs of marigolds a couple of months ago and they took off! We didn't do any veggies and planted them just to keep wasp away from our pool. I'm so surprised that it actually works! We took out two giant bushes that were always covered in wasp. Our marigolds are just crazy though! So big they look like a bush.

Blossom rot for the tomatoes. Add some calcium and remove the damage tomatoes. We dealt with blossom rot last year but once amended the soil and removed the bad tomatoes we has an amazing tomato harvest. Still have some in our deep freezer bc we had tomato’s coming out of our ears 😅
I like their dried Chile mangoes as well as the lightly sweetened coconut. So good!

On the tail bone side- I have Ankylosing Spondylitis and got diagnosed after not being able to do crunches without my tail bone hurting. There's a bunch of tests that can be done but most women go undiagnosed until after child birth. I'm not a doctor and I'm sure you've spoken to yours regarding it but I'd look into it. I was misdiagnosed for years because the disease is primarily seen in men so a lot of doctors rule it out right away even if you're showing symptoms.
I love my career! I'm a PA (physician assistant) in orthopedics/orthopedic surgery and I love my patients, I love my ability to be independent in caring for people. I inject all sorts of joints, bursas, tissues, etc, assist in surgeries, can tie knots and sew like nobodies business, treat fractures. Can do blocks to numb an area and reduce a fracture back into place. It is absolutely a part of who I am and I can't imagine doing anything else, let alone a different specialty.
I love my job: Sleep Technologist. I work 3 nights a week and off 4.. watch people sleep, help them with their sleep and still have plenty of time for myself! Healthcare without being a nurse. Pay is similar

I recently went from Bookkeeping to Forestry and the change is unreal. Fieldwork can get pretty physically demanding, but I'm still not as mentally drained as I was. Even on the days I'm not feeling very motivated it seems like something always happens to lighten my mood like a group of curious hummingbirds or deer saying hello. I'm basically paid to hike and camp all the time. It might not be for everyone, but it's pretty dope for me.

Just wanted to stop in and say I love the vlogs! Also, I am a Support Supervisor for a software company(I have a team of tech agents that report to me) and I love my job. Yes the pay is great but this is the first hob I've had where the company and employees are awesome.. It's not always like that though. I also get to work from home 100% of the time and they allow me to also care for my little one. I am def lucky and do not plan on every leaving my company unless they lay me off! lol
I am a financial crimes investigator for a bank and I love it. Never a dull moment for sure.

I work from home in the IT quality department of an insurance company. Am I passionate about the work? Yes. It is my life's passion? No. But working from home rather than 3 hour round trip to commute was life changing.
Try a fertilizer for vegetable plants. Normally brown spots means there is a deficiency in the soil. A fertilizer will really boost the growth. Also...clip off the veggies that are bad that you don't want to eat. That way the plant doesn't spend energy on ripening things that will just be going to waste and it will push more blooms for new ones. Loving this Era!! Happy Gardening!

I've been a stay at home mom for 11 years. My kids are now 11, 7 and 5....almost all in school full time so I've been taking an interior design university course online, part time. I'm excited to get back out in the working world...although, also slightly terrified 🤪 It's definitely a learning curve....navigating online learning, completing projects and doing the full time mom thing. I'm enjoying the change though!

Your tomatoes need calcium to fix the bottom is what I’ve been told! Also I’ve heard that sunflower seeds in your garden can be harmful to other things - I heard in your other video it was dropping seeds - might be worth looking into! :)
Take your egg shells wash them and bake them. Then grind up and put some in your plants. Free calcium from waste
