      @@RowesRisingyou also weren’t ill and/or diagnosed a majority of your marriage. When you are ill and still have to do all the mom stuff (I’m sure Aaron helps when he can but he isn’t 100% either or he’d still be in the military) it helps to take those shortcuts that you can find to make it through the ding dang day. Plus keep all 5 kids healthy, happy, occupied and not bickering. Also, if your kids eat the bread with part store bought organic flour than that’s what you should do. Kids can be picky eaters so when you find something that works, work it. 💪🏼

    Katie,
    The person who complained about paper plates is a miserable individual. They just look for things to gripe about. There's not 1 thing wrong with it. Me and my husband use paper plates often and its only me and him. You have every right to do what you want & feel is right for your family. That's a freedom we have here in this country thanks being to people like Aaron who protect us from lots of the outside uglies from other countries. I hope you 2 continue to feel better. Thank you for sharing your lives with us.

    The paper plate haters probably go to Starbucks every day!!!
    I have to eat gluten free and my husband does not. Of course, some foods we can both eat, but I get so tired of making separate items. Your situation is even harder. We all do the best we can and I think you are doing just fabulous.

    From what I've seen from other people who grind their own flour is that you have to get different (hard or soft) wheat berries for certain baked items.
    I have no clue, I don't personally grind my own.

      @RowesRising  3 месяца назад +2

      That is correct. Hard red and hard white are for bread. Soft white is for cakes, cookies and such. Durum wheat is for pasta… those are the basics and there is a whole rainbow of grains that can be milled for different recipes. It’s fun to learn about. Thanks for watching!!

    HAPPY SATURDAY. Please...we are empty nesters now and my husband and I use Dixie plates all the time. What is the problem with using paper plates? Ignore them and then delete. WOW...What a haul, but, you guys have a big family. I am the youngest of 10 5 boys and 5 girls, and they did not have a Costco, Sam's Club, etc...when our parent's were raising all of us. Our parent's had a big garden and my mom canned, etc...Her cleaning products contained Vinegar and water. Loved our home. Thanks for sharing your heart. GOD BLESS. STTB*Shared To The Burgh

      I can’t help that I have recurring pancreatitis and hashimotos. I didn’t ask for this. My husband didn’t ask for severe pain and inflammation from his physical and toxic job in the military. We eat the way we do because we don’t have a choice. It’s eat a certain way- or suffer greatly. It’s not something we asked for or enjoy. It’s not something we are proud of. I share for those that also have struggles with chronic pain. I’m so glad you are healthy and can eat freely. I wish I could. I’m so glad you weren’t abandoned, neglected, abused, and starved in your childhood like I was. You probably didn’t try to commit suicide, or have a drug and alcohol problem at age 12 did you? You probably didn’t turn to binge drinking when your mother died? Were you beaten black and blue by your church cult leader? You probably had the most beautiful and secure childhood. So glad for you. You are probably still super healthy. So glad you didn’t have a life of hardship and suffering that led you to misfortune with your health. We all come from different walks of life.
      Why I have health struggles now- my life has been incredibly stressful since birth and my body has kept score. I had a bout of pancreatitis this week and I’ve barely been able to eat or drink anything without pain. It’s really awesome. Glad for those pizzas when I couldn’t get off the floor and my husband had to make dinner between all he already had on his plate..

      @luckylady7542 you are right- there are more food intolerances and allergies these days. The vaccine schedule has tripled injecting more and more into babies wreaking havoc on their immune systems and altering their gut biome. I have one child that had a stomach virus and bad bacteria growth in her gut that wreaked havoc in her system. So we had a year we needed to cater to her so she could eat without breaking out into head to toe itchy hives. Not her fault and she’s NOT a picky eater. But her body was reacting to everything.
      Peoples immune systems in America are crap and that’s due to a hundred different things including lifestyle choices. Hagen has never had any vaccines- yet she is intolerant to peanuts, avocados, and a few other foods- those allergies mostly come from vaccines but not in her case. It’s not always black and white. My kids are all very healthy- aside from being dairy intolerant as babies and the “anthrax like “ bacterial infection in my daughter’s gut. Save your judgement- you don’t know peoples back stories. My life of trauma has resulted in health issues for me. I’m doing my best to give my kids a good life so they don’t suffer like their father and I do.
      Picky eaters? Not my kids. But I tell you what- I’ve had other children come here that refuse to eat my made from scratch food that my kids love, because they live off processed foods. My kids refuse to eat store bought bread those kids prefer. To each their own. My kids are raised well and they don’t get to choose what’s for dinner. They eat what I make. And aaron and I eat different than them. Aaron eats different than me. My kids all eat the same. 💪🏼

      @luckylady7542 thank you. My oldest had an adverse reaction. We have MTHFR gene mutations which increases the likelihood of adverse reactions so we made choices for our family based on the experiences and information we have. I too was vaccinated and I was a very sick child, with chronic recurring ENT infections that I still get today. My oldest had the same with recurring infections in infancy, but none of my other children have ever had an ENT infection. Their immune systems are intact. I developed an autoimmune disorder after my TDaP vaccine. I know it’s many factors playing into my health- and it’s been MY experience. No one else’s can compare because we are cut from different cloth. All but one of my nephews are vaccinated. All that were vaccinated had chronic ENT infections, some needing tubes etc. As I said, my one vaccinated child had ENT infections (HFM, strep, recurring ear infections, tonsillitis, croupy coughs, green snotty nose constantly) but my unvaxxed children never had those “common childhood illnesses”. My one unvaccinated nephew never had ENT infections either. I would say statistically in my family the vaccinated kids health has been far worse compared to the unvaccinated kids in my extended family. And we can compare their health outcomes all day- it’s a stark contrast. With MTHFR gene mutations- it’s a risk to take. 🌻
