    Found that you only have to undo the front two bolts on the bash guard. It then pivots down and you have a lot of room

    Bro, your timing was perfect! I just ordered my oil today & hit 150 miles. Seems easy enough to do! Thanks for the video!

      I laid mine on its side to transport it home in the crate. Gear oil was all over when i removed it from the crate. Not sure where it could have leaked from but it leaked

    Hello, did you feel like you could have filled it up more/better if the bike was tilted back/raised by the front? Saw a post somewhere about that, and now i have to check my bike since the previous owner already changed the oil at the 300km mark on it.

    • @electricisbetter

      I heard that too. I had it as level as possible, so I'm confident I put the right amount back in.

    Seems like too many bolts etc. should be easily accessible. Especially since you have to do it frequently. I’m good with my ron. Good vid though

    • @onetwo937
      @onetwo937 2 года назад +2

      It’s pretty easy, a middle schooler could do this,there’s not that many bolts lol, replacing the belt off a surron is 1000% worse, and harder, every surron owner I met complains about it being tedious and a pain in the ass to do, the talaria fixes that issue

    • @SuperSurr73
      @SuperSurr73 2 года назад +1

      @@onetwo937 yea but it’s not uncommon for a belt to last 3,000+ miles. I do 90% street riding and I’m below the max weight limit and run a stock controller. If my belt goes in 3000 miles.. a talaria owner would have done 20-30 oil changes. Each one at 20 minutes each so that’s 6-10 hours labor assuming they’re fast and efficient and they don’t run into any issues. Not to mention the cost of oil and the inconvenience.

    • @onetwo937
      @onetwo937 2 года назад

      @@SuperSurr73 yeah you do have a point about some belts lasting a long time if you’re not doing extreme off-roading, but I’ve worked with motorcycles and done oil changes on them so the talarias not too much of a hassle, the surron is amazing and I’m still debating which one to get I mostly do street riding on my onyx

    • @rapscallion3421
      @rapscallion3421 2 года назад +1

      @@SuperSurr73 not sure how you do math where you live but a oil change every 600 miles does not equal 20-30 oil changes per 3,000 mile Sur Ron belt😂could you be anymore biased? You make the talaria sound so intimidating for the average fella.
      Forgot to add it's about 1-2 hours in labor over the 3,000 miles not 6-10.

      @@rapscallion3421 when I posted that comment it was when the talaria just started getting shipped so the info out there was; oil changes every 100-150 miles at 20 minutes per.

    Why aren’t you using 85/90 per spec?? This is the third oil change vid I’ve seen and seems like people are just using whatever they have on the shelf and saying “good enough”.
    Viscosity and lubrication specs are there for a reason. whether or not “you think“ this is going to be ”good enough” is fine but those gears are operating under extremely heavy loads and high temperatures and the engineers know what they are doing - if you put the wrong oil in, even if it’s “pretty close” it is going to screw up your shit eventually. People really looking to these videos for instruction, you might wanna consider that people will be copying what you do. 🤷🏼‍♂️
