It astounds me the number of people who defend this "Giga cast" Tesla shit. Its cheap ass cast aluminum. Brittle and completely unmalleable. Its meant to make the car as cheap as possible to produce over the long run. It gets less safe, less durable and more prone to breaking as it gets older or accrues impact damage. As stubborn EV enthusiasts continue to tow ans attempt to use their cyber trucks as real trucks the number of cast aluminum frame breakages will increase.

This video is BS ! 👎 . You neglected to mention the fact they Could not break the F150 tow hitch after 20x the brutal attempts to break it compared to the flimsy cybertruck . . . That means if you hit a nasty pothole with a cybertruck your likely to lose your trailer . . With an old F150 you will not lose your trailer, even with 20x the impact force

Back when it was supposed to be $40k, I was interested, but couldn't get towing capacity numbers. Now it turns out the tongue weight rating is insufficient for the travel trailer we have: close to 10,000 lbs fully loaded, and 10..15% of that has to be tongue weight. Breakaway switch won't work if its cable is hooked to something that comes off the truck and stays attached to the trailer hitch. Staying with my F150 for now.
