Sounds perfect for a smaller statured adult like me most e-bikes are on the taller size mostly I prefer something I’d be able to cruise on comfortably like a scooter or a bike if it’s got like 20 in tires

In another video I watched they ran it on one battery, but you need at least 10 ah worth of battery for sports mode to work. It also works with the 10ah and 12ah batteries.

I asked an EGO rep yesterday. It will take all their batteries, up to the 12Ah.
Can it do wheelies? Surronster can.
Speed limiter is a switch under the seat.

@@moomaniac2932the battery for one maybe? I have 3 and the cheapest one is $900 and goes 28mph with pedals. Motors and batteries alone above 750w and 20ah at 60v are above $1,000😂
For 2k that should be like 30aH 72v 55mph

I'm aware there's a ton of fly-by-night companies manufacturing good looking decent performing stuff for less...but there's always some fair bit of jankiness...customer service, o.e.m. batteries/parts after sale e.t.c...
I think this things awesome & reasonably priced all things considered.

The ability to "kick" readily available relatively very good batteries from a reputable manufacturer, with a decent warranty is what I'm after.
Kinda torque-y, relatively tough & serviceable with a warranty.

Not street legal 😭
There are some youtube videos where people have made this street legal. Depends on your state and requirements but you can add a mirror to it easily and blinkers which satisfy most states requirements to register it as a moped.

Pretty rough off road. Completely fine for street

Street legal would greatly depend on where you live.
I ran around on a gas version of this last summer through drive throughs an all.
I just treated it like a bicycle I had no problems.

Yup not street legal too small for an adult too big for a child if those two were available id buy it the third option would be to have a charger when riding to charge the side battery you’d never run out of juice.

For the build quality, all things considered that's not that crazy to debut.
you have to remember the batteries themselves cost like $800 which you can use in any of your other EGO products. So basically the bike is $1299 which for the build quality and what it is i think is pretty darn nice.

Check out the Greenworks 60v.
My brother just picked one up off their website for $1200 & change total cost with two 8ah batteries/charger, delivered to his house.
She seems well built & is pretty sweet, also comes with a four year warranty. (In my research seems to be valid enough)
Usually those batteries retail around 350, so the bare tool price is essentially somewhere around 500 when bought as a kit.
I've heard several times that Tractor supply sold the same kit (possibly lower ah batteries?) for $999.
Essentially about half the cost of the Ego.
It does seem Ego tools are a step above Greenworks & certainly if you're in the platform then Ego makes sense, but if you're primarily just looking for a minibike, the quality/capability to price ratio on the Greenworks appears to be really solid.

Seems practical to use in the pits or on a farm. Dont really see any other uses for it tho and its too expensive for a pit bike
Not really that bad, it is a great buy, since you don't have to buy gas and haul that mess around.
@@Laserguy2009 it is that bad this bike isn't pit bike priced it's regular bike priced. Not worth it. And ya you don't need to carry gas but you'll need a generator or some other way to charge the bike not to mention it has a hub motor which is heavy as fuck that bikes not gonna be easy to lift or move around.
You can buy a Burromax E Bike for half the price. We have the tt750r which only goes like 23mph top speed but the torque is incredible which makes for an awesome trail thrasher and stunter. It's like an electric XR50, except not quite as cool but still respectable.

It's around 160 lbs. The hub motor has it's downsides like anything but the weight on the drive wheel really helps to give grip, especially while turning on loose rocks/earth.
It might not be for everyone but the build quality is excellent & I'm looking into upgrading my sons electric razor for ripping around the suburbs & some easy offroad use.

I hate sur ronster , I live in California a couple north hours north of LA and kids mimic his bullshit. A handful of kids have passed away during "street takeovers" that he has helped popularize.
