I got mine from luna cycle and changed it at 70 miles and it was still completely seethrough and clean looking. Just a few tiny particles. I replaced tho with HQ lucas. Also many of the bolts were loctited and all the engine even that metal bracket was red loctited.
Thanks, interesting. I bought mine over two years ago and it wasn't long before I thought about changing the oil. TL3000 If I remember correctly, I changed the oil after 2100 km, it was not in such bad condition as yours. It was still transparent, with few metal particles. Under normal use.🥰 Now after 2600km my controller died...💩 One phase is gone. Of course, a few months beyond the warranty period...👻
Dude when I did my after the 4th try lol cause of the drain plug was stripped over tightened from the factory the oil was black and thin no debris in it which was a good thing I as at 1700ish km without an oil change she's good now 👍 I like the whole oil change thing takes like few mins to do then back riding something different for ebikes.
No surprise there is garbage oil from over there. But i would still change it 150km cause you should get run in metal materials in there like any other case with gears except this is china specs and tolerances which are probably shite. I will now do mine with 50km on the 2 units so thanks for the vid! Sub'd Canadian.
You can thank me with small cup of coffee, lol www.buymeacoffee.com/justdoitplus
Thank you brother my bike arrives tomorrow, watching your video was just in time. 🏁 Have a great day!
That's awesome! You will enjoy it!

Good tip on moving the bike back and forth while draining, not sure that would have occured to me but it makes sense!

Would amsoil work to keep the motor cooler?
Not sure
No. This gearbox doesn't interact with the motor itself in a thermal way.
Guarantee they use some old used oil that they get for free.

I will, definitely need another oil change at 150km. But I preferred to start with good oil right away.
