- This is an introduction to my youtube channel where I will be going over mods, road trips, car shows, and anything else with my Lexus LC 500. There doesnt seem to be too many channels that cover IS F, GS F, RC F, IS 500, or LC 500s, so hopefully I can fill that void. It is a good car, I test drove both the V8 and hybrid before buying. I am in Scotland, so the extra mpg helps when I pay about £1.50 a litre for petrol@@javrabbit

Where did you get it from. Want 1 for my LC too now after I seen yours.
I get my parts from a website called BlackHawkJapan. They are based out of japan and order straight from manufacturer. Ive ordered part from them for my LC and RC F. Really fast shipping once part is manufactured and on average are $1000 cheaper than our American based sellers who throw ridiculous mark ups on these parts! This is the Blitz carbon fiber intake. The GruppeM is the same intake, just rebranded and use different filters. Here is the direct link www.blackhawkjapan.com/products/blitz-27021
Also, if theres a part you dont see on their website, you can shoot them an email and they will add it to the site for you. Ive done it with this carbon intake and the Varis body kit.

If you don’t mind sharing, what did you buy it for?
It being an Inspiration series didnt seem to have much effect on pricing in the used market. The pricing seemed about the same as the other LCs at the time. I paid 70k last year march

My favorite color is the yellow but those are so hard to find for a decent price. Right now I only see 2 and both are convertibles. I don’t like the convertible. The coupes body is what makes this cars shape
@@UrbanBDKNY i agree with what you said about the coupe shape. I like it much better as well. Hmm id wait around for a better price. you’re sure to find one better priced in my spec, i would bet. I bought mine with 31k miles on it.

I d pay a little more for a special edition one. Like but I wouldn’t go to 80. Not with these interest rates. I just did a search to see if I could find any special edition ones and that was the only one

It is a private sale but Auto Trader acts as a middle man for all the money, tax, transfer of title, temporary registration and exchange process. They take the money from
You and dont release it to the seller until they can confirm the car had been picked up by transport or by you, so the seller cant do any funny business. Only thing is the cost of transport that you can pay for your own transport company or use Autotraders. Autotraders price for transport was much more than finding your own transport. Paid 2005 for a completely enclosed trailer from michigan to arizona. Took about 3 days to get to me
Hey Javier thank you for sharing your LC500, may you explain when it is appropriate to upshift or downshift in this car? I see owners downshift when they are slowing down, and the RPMS slowly decreasing to around 4000 , and then they downshift again at 3000 RPM
Maybe ill make a video about this! This will be a long one but It really all depends. If you want the really meaty and loud downshifts for example, downshifting from 3rd to 2nd at 51-55 mph is the sweet spot (while not pressing gas pedal). 5th to 4th has an aggressive downshift when youre at 4500-5000 rpm. You also dont necessarily have to be slowing down. Lets say you’re cruising in 10th gear and want to pass someone, downshift until the cars around 4500-5000 rpm and you’ll be nicely in the power band. Down shifting from 2nd to 1st is the only tricky one where the car will only allow you to downshift at 4000 rpm or lower. For upshifting, if youre just wanting to speed, id try to shift at 7000-7300 rpm. You’ll most likely hit the rev limiter if trying to perfectly shift at 7300 but it sounds awesome when you do it! If you want the nice sounding upshift pops, give the car 50% to 100% throttle and shift anywhere from 5500 rpm to 6500 rpm. In the end you really just want to explore the car. Try shifting at different rpms, down shift at different rpms to see what the car does. Lexus has safety margins put in so you wont blow your engine while experimenting and learning the car.

Not of any specific LC ones in either places. But in Tucson we have a group of RC F, IS F, and LCs that get together sometimes. I phoenix there is a larger crew of the same cars and they have an LC in their group as well and go to car shows together. Their group name on instagram is @Lexplicit.tm

Did you get the midpipe with resonator or no resonator?
This is the midpipe with the resonator. The axleback gets delivered this week, so i’ll have a video comparing the car with midepipe only and with the full exhaust soon.
How you get CarPlay in 2018 system??

Midpipe only was 1860 shipped from japan. The valved axleback portion that should be arriving in the coming month was 3,388
What rpms do you usually downshift at to get those amazing sounds? Any jerkiness when downshifting?
2nd to 1st at 2900-3100rpm. 3rd to 2nd at 51 mph (cant remember what rpm thats at). For the best rev matching, let the engine slow down the car to the desired rpms/mph. If you slow down using the brakes it will be too fast and the rev matching downshifts wont be as aggressive. Those areas it shouldn’t be very jerky at all because of the rev matching.
