The lc500 isn’t universally appealing, but it is extremely appealing to those who appreciate the package it provides. Refined gentleman’s GT car

@@CarsofGlasgowI immediately write off anyone who *hates* on a car. I’ve never once hated a single car. You can be neutral and just say “it’s not for me” or “I wouldn’t buy it”… Anything more than that just shows you’re into status symbols. Go buy a Ferrari, Rolex, and Louis Vuitton, be done with it, and leave the rest of us alone.
LC is so beautiful, totally worth the money.
I was in the same boat with wanting a GTR. Long story short I got the Lexus RCF (V8). Same engine as the LC but bit more fun to drive in my opinion, and it's almost as rare as the LC on the streets. Now, I'm in the market for the LC...hope to have at least a 2021 this summer. It truly is a work of art!

Same here, grew up a Dodge family, drove the C/S Dodge Daytona, Conquest TSI, Dodge Stealth, jumped to Imports, 350Z and 370z. The LC (luxury coupe) 500 is the car. I also debated over a GT-R or BMW M4, for reliability Lexus/Toyota hands down. I even looked at the Supra and Corolla Circuit Edition, final decision, the LC 500. I'm looking for a LC500 club to share the drive and experience in D/FW. First mod is to grab a VOLTEX wing but the wait is approx 6 weeks from Japan.

I bought a 2022 LC500 Caviar black exterior and black interior with dynamic performance pack . Canadian cost was 120,000 but when I retired I bought it as a gift to me for 40 years as. Heavy duty mechanic at one dealer . I also bought a 2021 TRX RAM which is a crazy truck 😂. I’ve owned a lot of muscle cars but I have to say the LC 500 is my ultimate driving machine . It gets put away for the winter and have to wait until every April to drive her 😢, great video as well .
Own one in infrared with performance package. Love it. Out of all the cars I’ve owned it’s one of my favorites.

At first your video was kind of boring, BUT once you started talking about your car i was into your video. I own a 2018 micah blue with the toasted caramel interior. I'm much older than you are, but its fun to pull it out on a sunny day and style and profile. Fun car to drive. Enjoy your car and enjoy your life, you only live once.

There shouldn't be an explanation. The LC500 is such a gorgeous, baller car.
When I first saw the LC i knew I wanted one, but after driving one for the first time, I knew I had to have one. If i didn't want a 997 so bad, I'd save every penny I get just to get that car. I'm hoping people keep sleeping on them for at least 5 more years so I can eventually get one lol
I hope they sleep on them and that Lexus keeps making them so that there's less of a sense of scarcity once something is discontinued

I own a 2023 convertible in white with the red interior. The car is awesome from every angle. It looks and sounds great and it drives and rides like a dream! And I’ve owned a lot of beautiful cars in my lifetime!!

But to be fair after what U said about BMW which I have a 2018 X6 which is a pain in my arse.
I was thinking of lexus or M850 but yeah makes sense to get the LC500.
So sold I'm buying one.

I have a’23LC Convertable. Yes it has a trac pad, no the rear seats are unusable. Don’t like it, drive a minivan. The car is as perfect as it could be. Sexy looks and exhaust note, luxurious interior and ride. It’s a keeper for me. White w Carmel top and interior 🏖️

If you want a little more sound before changing the exhaust you can unplug the solenoids on the rear mufflers

An m340i with the b58 is reliable lol. Bmws since like 2015+ have been pretty reliable.
Man everyone sh*ts on BMW definitely don't do their research. I totally agree, the old engines were a bit of a nightmare. But now, with the B58 and S58 engines that they've developed with Toyota, it feels like they've ironed out all those problems. I've been driving a 2019 540i myself, and honestly, I haven't had a single issue with it.

Did you consider a Benz Coupe.....maybe E or S AMG ? I'm 10yrs older than you and nearing the same position of getting my "fun car" 😂 .....E53 amg coupe and this LC500 are my 2 finalists
I actually looked at a C63AMG coupe. I personally got scared away of the potentially expensive maintenance.

Why are you cleaning your car at home? Do you have special drains? There's lots of bad stuff stuck to the car that goes into the groundwater if you don't take care of the dirty water after cleaning your car.
