It’s Rioja Red..I have had this color and love it. Beautiful LC. The track pad is second nature after you use it for a while. I have the touchscreen now.

As for transmissions my 19 isn’t super consistent, jerky and not smooth. It’s a 19 MY but made in 18 - I have driven an 18 and I couldn’t tell the difference. It’s an easy tranny (because of 10 spd) to catch off guard. First 4 gears are WAY TOO LONG 😂 - and it wants to be in 7th even in Sport+ when doing 45 mph- they area they screwed up on IMO was the tranny. With that said, it was designed as we all know as a lux coupe - Mine has every option - I wouldn’t own one without Dynamic Handling Pack
Looks great. Love my 19 / black wrap the chrome exhaust surrounds - I did a satin all around, looks so much better

Hey, my lc500 ownership timeline is very similar to you. I bought it end of september 2023, a white 2018 performance package canadian spec car. Flew to regina saskatchewan and drove 2600km back to ontario. I also daily drive to it just not during the winter months. When you brought up the japanese corvette comment im in full agreement as i sold my c6 corvette for the lc. Keep it sir, your content is great for fellow lc owners.

How must be tire pressure to not blink 2.5?
Messing around with the suspension at 34,000 miles! Why is that ????
What exactly do you mean by that? I put RSR lowering springs on the car. I did have to replace a factory strut weeks before doing so.
Great content, keep it up. And I like the family time, nothing better. I have a new 2024 and getting ready to order wheels from e6 Carbon. Looking at doing the same sizes that you are running. What offset do you have and do you have any rubbing at all? Thanks Greg
@@gregb-constrictor_culture805 thank you! I’ll have to look it up but I believe they are +25 and +20. Very little rubbing. Actually had to warm up and mold in an area on my fender liners which I explained in on of my past videos.

Test drove a 2018…..reeeaaally thinking about trading my 22 is350 up for it. Have you had any problems with the door handles or glove compartment? Love the insight. Plus you’re a graphic designer, you gotta new sub!
@@yourgod thank you! I’ve had zero issues with door handles or glove box. I’m aware of the issues, but haven’t had those here.
What price range would be a good/ great buy for a 2018/2019 LC 500 now with mileage in consideration? Also, would you stay away if it had 2 or more previous owners? @magmade
@altor562 that depends, what do you define as low mileage? You can get a 2018 or 2019 model with 20k-30k miles in the $63 - $69K range. No problem with 2+ owners, as lots of people change their mind on this car thinking it was a performance BMW experience.
@@altor562 obviously lower miles and owners the better. But this being a Lexus, the miles really don’t matter.
I agree with the 18 model being more aggressive, the later models have a much more refined transmission. I've test driven both 2018 and 2022 and I noticed a big difference in overall refinements and ride quality.
Can you elaborate? Just the transmission update or suspension geometry too? Wondering if gear ratio has been changed. Any 0-60 discrepancy between the two? Thanks
That's a good question. In my experience, the newer models generally feel smoother and less clunky or jerky compared to the original model. I believe this is due to adjustments in the transmission and engine tuning. While these refinements may not necessarily add more power, they enhance the overall driving experience. You can probably find the technical details in Lexus’s announcements from previous years, and there are plenty of reviews that explain the specific improvements made to enhance the car’s performance. Ultimately, the best way to evaluate the changes is to test drive the newer model yourself.
I just don’t feel the 2018 being clunky at all. So I would assume they made the shift points at lower rpm’s. The 2018 when hard on the gas shifts at high rpm’s which I like. I’ve only heard the newer LC’s are smoother and to me means they tried to tame it down.
What package is this? any reason why you didnt get performance?

RUclipsrs borrowing the LC500 all harp on the same thing bout the infotainment system. Funny thing is they dont say that about the other lexuses that uses the same system.
And they don’t say about Mercedes or Audi that have the track pad either. Once you learn the system it’s like riding a bike
Most other Lexus models have physical buttons for things like the heated and cooled seats but the LC500 doesn't.

keep it clean,your LC is very nice. Ive had no issues with the transmission and i drove 51K miles from new, 2019 to now. Engine is good too.

@@jcoleem9164 I went plastic due to the worry of cracking the kit on some crazy roads out there. The plastic flexes very easily and if I do crack it I won’t freak out that bad. Haha

I tried to go last time there in D town, they were only open 3-4 days a week. Need to make a trip back before it gets cold. Prefer it not being crowded but then again, we know their doom might come.

You could of bought a performance strut way cheaper and just replaced all 4, you pay $170 for an old change you definitely NOT A CAR GUY. You can change your oil in 15 minutes you can't drive to the dealership in 15 min besides waiting around or even if the give you a loaner it still is longer then 15 minutes, you need to learn how to source parts and wrench on them
@@jamesharding6183 I could change my own oil if I wanted to. I’m an extremely busy person so I choose to have it done. It’s not that I don’t know how to. The LC has adaptive struts. You don’t put just any strut from autozone on this car.
