I wish there was a real cure for stroke survivors. Seeing the man who inspired me to wear pink like this now breaks my heart. I almost teared up with him. If I had The Flash’s powers, I’d go back in time to save Owen from his death and prevent Bret from signing with WCW.

hitman lived through a ton of heartache no pun intended during his career. the actual wrestling meant something to him unlike many who loved the limelight and the paychecks. wrestling was this guy's life and as much as the glory that came with it.. came crashing down when he had to walk away from it. the camaraderie with his colleagues.. the screw job, the way things ended.. losing davey and owen and so many others... he wears it on his sleeve. glad he got some amount of closure with wwe years later, but you can still see how much it upsets him.
I have NEVER seen Brett this emotional about anything! Never witnessed him tear up or be speechless at points....the emotion he has is one of gratefulness and relief....I am so proud of this man, proud he's a Canadian legend
I truly believe that Bret Hart needed closure and going back to WWE in 2010 and having a match at Wrestlemania gave him closure. He’s a legend and deserves to be recognized.
If I remember right I read something that he couldn’t take any bumps in the match because of Lloyds of London. He shed them years ago when they weren’t paying him his settlement and eventually won the case. But when you get paid you can’t wrestle so the match reflected that to try and get past Lloyds. But even with it not being ideal it’s nice he got to end things in a better way than how they originally ended.
@rockydelone3042 its a business. And Shawn was a company man. And to this day hes treated like royalty because of it. Bret chose to bet on himself and leave and unfortunately the amateurs in WCW injured him. Never was a huge fan of either but loyalty is worth alot in business.
That ain't nothing to do with the stroke. That's almost 30 years of Carrying around all that hurt and not dealing with it. Leaving WWF Made brett miserable
Bret Hart made sure that whoever he worked with in the ring, no matter who they were or how he did or didn't get along with them, that they were protected from any risk of injury. He was a true professional.

This is why I get so annoyed seeing comments from people about ‘bitter Bret’. Sure, Bret is wholeheartedly honest about everything, and perhaps sometimes honest to a fault. But this right here, shows you that the guy lived, breathed, and lost a lost of his family through doing what he loved more than literally anything else. Bret Hart’s mind and body IS ‘wrestling’. And if you are a wrestling fan, he deserves your respect for everything that he gave to his industry. Because this guy didn’t just ‘do his job’ as a wrestler, he instead dedicated and sacrificed perhaps more than any other man to wrestling. And he did it to send people home happy every night. And despite everything that he has lost due to the horrible luck and circumstance in the wrestling business, he still contributes to it to the very day, and helps the younger generation in any way he can. He is a mountain of a human being. Thank you Bret 👍
Everybody misses it at this point. The highs reached in the 80s and late 90s will never, ever again be reached. The time between those 2 boom periods is a decade almost. And here we are 20 years removed from when wrestling was hot like that with no big star in sight.
You couldn't find a more Genuine guy than Bret the hitman Hart. He has been my hero since i was 8 years old and i got to meet him twice he treated me with so much class and so down to earth and that is why he truly is the best there is and the best there was and the best there ever will be.💕😎
Gotta love the human and emotional side of Bret. He's right I've had strokes also and they make you appreciate everything from the air to the grass to everything. strokes change you
Bret goes all the way back to Wrestlemania 2. Legend, Icon. Part of what built the entire modern day WWE behemoth. His matches are Incredible to go back and enjoy.
Growing up being a big Bret Hart fan it blew my mind to watch WM2 & see the Hart Foundation be the last 2 men against Andre in the battle royal. Bret had a lot of amazing moments in his career
This is a man who took his craft more seriously than possibly any other wrestler and who can still talk from the "hart" and be honest without sugarcoating anything. He is a human being and is not afraid to show it. Nothing but respect for the excellence of exeuction.
Bloody hell, I welled up myself watching this. No one else deserves more to get that moment again than Bret Hart, for the memories, sacrifices and tragedies he suffered from a business he loved and gave so much to Hero to me as a child and a Legend to me as a man
Bret Hart will always and forever be the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be. U can see that he loves wrestling. Its all that he wanted to do and he wanted to be the best and he did became the best. Seeing Bret cry at the 2:44 mark just breaks my heart. He’s been thru a lot over the years and he rose to the occasion at the end of it.
His greatness in the ring seem's to slipped the minds of so many , Bret was the best pure wrestler in the biz , Angle was the next. Bret never had the full support of the WWF machine behind him and he still made it big . He deserved so much more from the biz , he was a great guy and there few and far between in wrestling .
This is really cool. That match is much more special to watch knowing how he happy he was doing it because we all know how damn athletic he was so it's nice to see him enjoying a good ol stomping.

I use to think that Bret was just bitter until i read his story and saw what he went through getting screwed over loosing his brother in such a horrific, unjustified and unforgivable way then his mom and dad. His feelings are justified and i understand now, plus he speak from his heart and with truth which makes me respect him so much more.
Yeah, every time people call him bitter, I remind them that, in the span of six years he got screwed over by his boss, went to a company that used him horribly, lost his brother in the most pointless lethal accident in pro wrestling history, then got a career ending concussion, then got fired while injured, then lost his mom, then got a stroke that shelved him for good and finally lost his dad. And people expect him to smile?!
You can tell he loved the business and he loved performing for the fans plain and simple he was passionate about giving it his all and that’s why he’s the HitMan

That 2010 comback and match with Vince really was the vindication and closure he needed to end his career. Not a botch kick from Goldberg and the screw job. You gotta respect Vince for doing that for Bret, no matter how much heat or bad blood they had with other each. Barring the hatchet was such a blessing for Bret.

Wow! Really interesting. As a true Bret fan since forever, I got emotional as we’ll because as a fan it was really devastating what they did to him after all he give and the saddest part was the way they basically deleted his legacy. Little kids who didn’t get to see what Bret gave yo the business. Wwe has the way destroying your legacy, they’ve done to so many wrestlers, chyna comes to mind. What Bret went through after he left for the next 10 is nuts. His parents, stroke, Owen, davey, other wrestlers like Curt henning, the family problems, etc. Bret said that one of his greatest memories was Calgary stampede in 97 at the end. As a fan you truly understand what he means when he says that because after that with Brian Pillman dying it was like a downward snowball. It just got bigger and bigger. It always pissed me off how fans believed everything wwe put on tv especially how good triple h and were. They we’re snakes and ruined so many lives
I said this in a different clip of this interview but I feel it deserves to be said here. Bret Hart was the fkn man. I remember watching him as a kid with Jimmy and I used to love those pink fellas. Bret Hart helped make the WWE when it was in it's prime. I hope he realizes that and isn't too bitter about the opportunities he lost because him and Owen and even Jimmy were seriously influential.
It’s unbelievable how a man who has sustained a head injury, concussion and stroke has such an accurate recollection of all these stories… shows how much he revelled in his time… I can barely remember yesterday
It was great seeing Bret back in the ring again, even tho he couldnt do much but the whole point of the match was Bret finally getting his revenge on vince for montreal, finally beating the crap out of vince with a chair and then putting him in the sharpshooter and I loved it. I had over 30 years of seeing bret give great matches so seeing him just completely destroy vince was just great.
I'm from Stockton California. We have a bar that has a Bret Hart painting on the side of their building. He use to visit our baseball team all the time and treated our city very nice. Super nice guy.
I can imagine why Bret was so angry with the WWE. Because after that fateful night in Survivor Series 97, his life was never the same. His career in WCW, Owen's death, his concussion which led to his career ending, Davey Boy Smith dying, his dad dying and then him almost dying because of a stroke. I can understand the resentment
Besides the stroke, I think he got emotional because I'm sure there was a point where he wasn't sure if he was going to walk again. And of course, he never thought he'd do what he loved ever again.
I love Bret Hart. He’s got integrity and really just cares about the business and his legacy. If he actually had a school where he trained wrestlers, it’d be just awesome. Like Bret Hart, Bryan Danielson and Shawn Michaels. Learn from them and you’d be definitely the absolute.

I get it man. I do. I am a trained wrestler. Trained by Dr. Tom at his and Kane's school in Knoxville. It doesn't matter if its a warehouse with 30 people or a stadium full of thousands. Walking to that ring is an insane feeling. Like throwing a game winning TD in the Super Bowl. Just hearing him talk about walking down that ramp it hits.
He really is more like CM Punk or actually vice versa CM Punk is like Bret Hart...yeah in the ring, but it's really outside of the ring where they are clones of each other. They get emotionally invested in their matches that it really hits them hard when they reflect back on it
It was a real injustice the way Bret Hart had to step away from the business, from wrestling all together,but I was so happy to see him make a comeback to WWE and make peace with All the Montreal screw job situation . It speaks highly of him for letting go of that anger and move forward!!!! Truly without a doubt The best there is,was and ever will be!!!!
Bret Hart is golden and that doesn't even describe how genuinely good this man is I love him and I don't know him personally never met him but I love him the man had a HARD career which also led to a hard life unfortunately
I grew up a huge wrestling fan in the 80’s right through the 90’s, and Brett was one of my many favorites. I dreamed of some day being a wrestler, and hit the gym hard from a young age hoping to follow in the footsteps of all those who I looked up to. Growing up in small town Saskatchewan there was never opportunity for me to see any of these shows live, but when I became old enough to get into the bars in Regina that’s where I would end up some weekends with friends. One weekend after a big event I ran into a few wrestlers on a Saturday night, including Sid Vicious and Ted Dibiase who were super cool (Sid was truly larger than life - I literally bumped into him in a hallway at a pub, and his chest came around the corner a couple seconds before he did. I had to look wayyy up to him at my height of 6’4”….or at least it felt like it,lol). Later in the evening we all made our way over to a nightclub, where there was a crowd gathers around the bar. Me and my friends made our way to the crowd, and there was Bret with a few of his people in the middle of the crowd. I carefully made my way to the front of the group, and politely waited until Brett wasn’t busy talking with anyone, and tapped him on the shoulder, and when he turned around I said “excuse me Mr Hart, sorry to bother you - just wanted to say that I am a huge fan of yours, and have always looked up to you…”. I went from being pumped, to instantly deflated and disappointed beyond belief when he he looked at me with a brief scowl and made a “pfft, ohh-kayyyy” scowl at me, then looked away and went back to drinking his beer. I stood there feeling so mad and dejected, and went back to my friends nearby. For a long time I cheered against him, and hoped for his downfall in the business. Despite feeling let down as a young guy, I’m so glad to hear that he is doing well in life, and is healthy after all that he has been through. As I grew older I realized that he was just human, and possibly just wanted to be left alone in a crowd of fans at a small town nightclub - and didn’t want just another admirer bothering him after “work”. On another note with a much different experience, his brother Owen trained at the gym where I worked and was the nicest most humble or modest guy you could meet. Real class act, and he took their kids to a nearby swimming pool where all the other parents said the same thing. He was just another parent doing parent stuff. Jim the Anvil also came into the same gym, and a nightclub I worked at, and he was…”unique”, lol. I kinda knew Bruce when he was substitute teacher in Calgary…he was a real card, always full of stories and made time to talk to anyone. Wore the most awful cowboy boots brightly adorned with flames up and down them with his blue jeans tucked inside. Every day, lol. Truly a legendary family in the business. Wrestling royalty.
Yea they are humans like the rest of us, and have moods just the same as well. You will never know what might have been going on for him at home or whatnot. And you gotta kinda figure too, these people are around large numbers of other people CONSTANTLY 24/7, 300+ days a year. And 99% of those they are around, are people they dont even know or work with. It probably can be emotion draining.
Brett is the ish! He was the under dog that easy went to the top by being himself in a time when he was easily overlooked. You couldn't help but notice his mic and ring skills
ring skills sure. But huis mic skills? I dont know many people that think about mic or promo skills when they think of the Hitman. Even Bret doesnt think of his "mic skills" lol.

I didn’t grow up watching Bret. I watched that match not understanding any of the significance. Having gone back and looked at the screw job stuff I thought I then understood it all. Then I watched this... bless him. It wasn’t the best match, but it now has a lot more significance to me after watching this

I personally grew up on Bret Hart in the 80's and like him or not like him he's made his mark on the wrestling world forever. I've had 2 strokes and I super understand wanting "peace" he's been through a lot with Owen and all. He has fo deal with the stroke everyday ascdonI but on fop of all that it must be so difficult to be Breat The Hitman Hart which has fo tough enough in itself. When the audience chuckled a bit after he mentions " it's the stroke everyone it makes you very emotional" I know they didn't laugh at him in a belittling manner but it's impossible to translate that fo someone who hasn't had a stroke or strokes. It's a very emotional ailment to deal with but him being who he is and what he's been through hrs a passionate guy and he loves ❤ the business and you have fo respect that. It's his life ots not a job. Wrestling is all he knows.
This is one of the biggest reasons why Bret Hart was always my favorite of all time, his passion and love for the sport he grew up with. And not only being one of the best technical, safe, and responsible wrestlers of all time. He really cared about the story he told in the ring and above all, loved making other wrestlers look better, and he kept them safe. Self-involved, flashy bullshit ass promos was never his gig. He was a story teller, he will always be a legend. And the Best there is, the Best there was and the Best there ever will be.
My favourite of all time. Only lacked a solid promo, but in the ring he was second to none. Honest, humble and professional. He needed to bury the hatchet for himself. He did nothing wrong, was on the end of bad politics from HBK at his worst. Watching a live show with Bret is certainly on my bucket list.
If Bret never got injured and still held his grudge with Vince in the early 2000’s could you imagine a CM Punk vs Bret Hart feud in ROH in 2003/2004. I say this just because Punk has openly said he is a massive Bret fan and that feud and those matches would have been incredible. Punk’s whole AEW run has nods for Bret Hart matches. One of the first sequences he does in his return match is a nod to Bret’s match with the 123 Kid.
bret probably would have come back to wwe sooner than 2005. He would have had a match against Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania 18 or 20 maybe. Much of the hatchet was buried after Vince called Bret in the hospital after his stroke in 2002.

No way ROH could afford Bret in 2004. He also wasn't going to go from making $3 million per year to working for whatever ROH could have offered, no matter how good of a wrestler Punk was.
I have so much respect for Bret Hart. I totally respect a man who is not afraid to cry in public. It couldn't have been easy to talk about how much that match meant to him. People are always saying he's bitter, but he's not. He's just been through more than most of us. He tragically lost Owen in a stunt that should never have happened. He had to endure the emotional upheaval over Martha's lawsuit.His career, which meant so much to him was snatched away in a split second. And then to have a stroke that almost put him in a wheelchair for life on top of everything else. To come out of all of it standing tall is a testament to his willpower and determination. Bret Hart is a class act. And he still is The Best There Is, The Best There Was, And The Best There Ever Will Be!

Wow, it’s incredible to see how much that means to him. I bet he’d give anything to have had a few more years on his in ring career but he should be some happy with his body of work, I showed my 6 yr old the Bulldog Summerslam match this weekend and he loved it.
My best friend and I took a bus from IL to Phoenix to see the hitman come back...it was not "pretty" but as fans of the hitman it was cathartic to see him again :)
Damnit man being of wrestling as a kid, now im 26 learning and watching all his memorable moments and this was the last video I came to....Just to see what this man gave, how he was done, and how career ended, this shit hurt to watch man. Its like watching a close relative die slowly of a painful death and you can't do anything but watch.
For me he is the best of all time. For how much it all meant to him and still does, for how great a technical wrestler he was and for his professionalism which I think frustrated him because other people didn’t have the same level of professionalism as he did. A great storyteller to. Legend.

He’s been thru a lot over the years and he rose to the occasion at the end of it.

Bret never had the full support of the WWF machine behind him and he still made it big . He deserved so much more from the biz , he was a great guy and there few and far between in wrestling .

It does seem like in the last few years Vince has been mending fences: Bret, Warrior, Bruno.
I use to think that Bret was just bitter until i read his story and saw what he went through getting screwed over loosing his brother in such a horrific, unjustified and unforgivable way then his mom and dad. His feelings are justified and i understand now, plus he speak from his heart and with truth which makes me respect him so much more.
Yeah, every time people call him bitter, I remind them that, in the span of six years he got screwed over by his boss, went to a company that used him horribly, lost his brother in the most pointless lethal accident in pro wrestling history, then got a career ending concussion, then got fired while injured, then lost his mom, then got a stroke that shelved him for good and finally lost his dad.
And people expect him to smile?!

That 2010 comback and match with Vince really was the vindication and closure he needed to end his career. Not a botch kick from Goldberg and the screw job. You gotta respect Vince for doing that for Bret, no matter how much heat or bad blood they had with other each. Barring the hatchet was such a blessing for Bret.

Wow! Really interesting. As a true Bret fan since forever, I got emotional as we’ll because as a fan it was really devastating what they did to him after all he give and the saddest part was the way they basically deleted his legacy. Little kids who didn’t get to see what Bret gave yo the business. Wwe has the way destroying your legacy, they’ve done to so many wrestlers, chyna comes to mind. What Bret went through after he left for the next 10 is nuts. His parents, stroke, Owen, davey, other wrestlers like Curt henning, the family problems, etc. Bret said that one of his greatest memories was Calgary stampede in 97 at the end. As a fan you truly understand what he means when he says that because after that with Brian Pillman dying it was like a downward snowball. It just got bigger and bigger. It always pissed me off how fans believed everything wwe put on tv especially how good triple h and were. They we’re snakes and ruined so many lives

I said this in a different clip of this interview but I feel it deserves to be said here. Bret Hart was the fkn man. I remember watching him as a kid with Jimmy and I used to love those pink fellas. Bret Hart helped make the WWE when it was in it's prime. I hope he realizes that and isn't too bitter about the opportunities he lost because him and Owen and even Jimmy were seriously influential.

I am glad I went to Mania 26. To see him win and get that relief was so awesome.
It was great seeing Bret back in the ring again, even tho he couldnt do much but the whole point of the match was Bret finally getting his revenge on vince for montreal, finally beating the crap out of vince with a chair and then putting him in the sharpshooter and I loved it. I had over 30 years of seeing bret give great matches so seeing him just completely destroy vince was just great.
I'm from Stockton California. We have a bar that has a Bret Hart painting on the side of their building. He use to visit our baseball team all the time and treated our city very nice. Super nice guy.
I was at Wrestlemania 26 with my little brother I had so much fun. Bret Hart is a legend.
I can imagine why Bret was so angry with the WWE. Because after that fateful night in Survivor Series 97, his life was never the same. His career in WCW, Owen's death, his concussion which led to his career ending, Davey Boy Smith dying, his dad dying and then him almost dying because of a stroke. I can understand the resentment
Besides the stroke, I think he got emotional because I'm sure there was a point where he wasn't sure if he was going to walk again.
And of course, he never thought he'd do what he loved ever again.
I love Bret Hart. He’s got integrity and really just cares about the business and his legacy. If he actually had a school where he trained wrestlers, it’d be just awesome. Like Bret Hart, Bryan Danielson and Shawn Michaels. Learn from them and you’d be definitely the absolute.

I get it man. I do. I am a trained wrestler. Trained by Dr. Tom at his and Kane's school in Knoxville. It doesn't matter if its a warehouse with 30 people or a stadium full of thousands. Walking to that ring is an insane feeling. Like throwing a game winning TD in the Super Bowl. Just hearing him talk about walking down that ramp it hits.
How hands on is Kane with the training? Is it mainly Dr Tom, with Glenn dropping by from time to time?
He really is more like CM Punk or actually vice versa CM Punk is like Bret Hart...yeah in the ring, but it's really outside of the ring where they are clones of each other. They get emotionally invested in their matches that it really hits them hard when they reflect back on it

It was a real injustice the way Bret Hart had to step away from the business, from wrestling all together,but I was so happy to see him make a comeback to WWE and make peace with All the Montreal screw job situation . It speaks highly of him for letting go of that anger and move forward!!!!

I grew up a huge wrestling fan in the 80’s right through the 90’s, and Brett was one of my many favorites. I dreamed of some day being a wrestler, and hit the gym hard from a young age hoping to follow in the footsteps of all those who I looked up to. Growing up in small town Saskatchewan there was never opportunity for me to see any of these shows live, but when I became old enough to get into the bars in Regina that’s where I would end up some weekends with friends. One weekend after a big event I ran into a few wrestlers on a Saturday night, including Sid Vicious and Ted Dibiase who were super cool (Sid was truly larger than life - I literally bumped into him in a hallway at a pub, and his chest came around the corner a couple seconds before he did. I had to look wayyy up to him at my height of 6’4”….or at least it felt like it,lol). Later in the evening we all made our way over to a nightclub, where there was a crowd gathers around the bar. Me and my friends made our way to the crowd, and there was Bret with a few of his people in the middle of the crowd. I carefully made my way to the front of the group, and politely waited until Brett wasn’t busy talking with anyone, and tapped him on the shoulder, and when he turned around I said “excuse me Mr Hart, sorry to bother you - just wanted to say that I am a huge fan of yours, and have always looked up to you…”. I went from being pumped, to instantly deflated and disappointed beyond belief when he he looked at me with a brief scowl and made a “pfft, ohh-kayyyy” scowl at me, then looked away and went back to drinking his beer. I stood there feeling so mad and dejected, and went back to my friends nearby. For a long time I cheered against him, and hoped for his downfall in the business.
Despite feeling let down as a young guy, I’m so glad to hear that he is doing well in life, and is healthy after all that he has been through. As I grew older I realized that he was just human, and possibly just wanted to be left alone in a crowd of fans at a small town nightclub - and didn’t want just another admirer bothering him after “work”.
On another note with a much different experience, his brother Owen trained at the gym where I worked and was the nicest most humble or modest guy you could meet. Real class act, and he took their kids to a nearby swimming pool where all the other parents said the same thing. He was just another parent doing parent stuff. Jim the Anvil also came into the same gym, and a nightclub I worked at, and he was…”unique”, lol. I kinda knew Bruce when he was substitute teacher in Calgary…he was a real card, always full of stories and made time to talk to anyone. Wore the most awful cowboy boots brightly adorned with flames up and down them with his blue jeans tucked inside. Every day, lol.
Truly a legendary family in the business. Wrestling royalty.

Yea they are humans like the rest of us, and have moods just the same as well. You will never know what might have been going on for him at home or whatnot. And you gotta kinda figure too, these people are around large numbers of other people CONSTANTLY 24/7, 300+ days a year. And 99% of those they are around, are people they dont even know or work with. It probably can be emotion draining.

I personally grew up on Bret Hart in the 80's and like him or not like him he's made his mark on the wrestling world forever. I've had 2 strokes and I super understand wanting "peace" he's been through a lot with Owen and all. He has fo deal with the stroke everyday ascdonI but on fop of all that it must be so difficult to be Breat The Hitman Hart which has fo tough enough in itself. When the audience chuckled a bit after he mentions " it's the stroke everyone it makes you very emotional" I know they didn't laugh at him in a belittling manner but it's impossible to translate that fo someone who hasn't had a stroke or strokes. It's a very emotional ailment to deal with but him being who he is and what he's been through hrs a passionate guy and he loves ❤ the business and you have fo respect that. It's his life ots not a job. Wrestling is all he knows.

This is one of the biggest reasons why Bret Hart was always my favorite of all time, his passion and love for the sport he grew up with. And not only being one of the best technical, safe, and responsible wrestlers of all time. He really cared about the story he told in the ring and above all, loved making other wrestlers look better, and he kept them safe. Self-involved, flashy bullshit ass promos was never his gig. He was a story teller, he will always be a legend. And the Best there is, the Best there was and the Best there ever will be.

If Bret never got injured and still held his grudge with Vince in the early 2000’s could you imagine a CM Punk vs Bret Hart feud in ROH in 2003/2004. I say this just because Punk has openly said he is a massive Bret fan and that feud and those matches would have been incredible. Punk’s whole AEW run has nods for Bret Hart matches. One of the first sequences he does in his return match is a nod to Bret’s match with the 123 Kid.

bret probably would have come back to wwe sooner than 2005. He would have had a match against Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania 18 or 20 maybe. Much of the hatchet was buried after Vince called Bret in the hospital after his stroke in 2002.

I have so much respect for Bret Hart. I totally respect a man who is not afraid to cry in public. It couldn't have been easy to talk about how much that match meant to him. People are always saying he's bitter, but he's not. He's just been through more than most of us. He tragically lost Owen in a stunt that should never have happened. He had to endure the emotional upheaval over Martha's lawsuit.His career, which meant so much to him was snatched away in a split second. And then to have a stroke that almost put him in a wheelchair for life on top of everything else. To come out of all of it standing tall is a testament to his willpower and determination. Bret Hart is a class act. And he still is The Best There Is, The Best There Was, And The Best There Ever Will Be!

Wow, it’s incredible to see how much that means to him. I bet he’d give anything to have had a few more years on his in ring career but he should be some happy with his body of work, I showed my 6 yr old the Bulldog Summerslam match this weekend and he loved it.
I just watched that match. Definitely not a technical masterpiece but it was great to see him again in that Wrestlemania environment.
My best friend and I took a bus from IL to Phoenix to see the hitman come back...it was not "pretty" but as fans of the hitman it was cathartic to see him again :)

Damnit man being of wrestling as a kid, now im 26 learning and watching all his memorable moments and this was the last video I came to....Just to see what this man gave, how he was done, and how career ended, this shit hurt to watch man. Its like watching a close relative die slowly of a painful death and you can't do anything but watch.
For me he is the best of all time. For how much it all meant to him and still does, for how great a technical wrestler he was and for his professionalism which I think frustrated him because other people didn’t have the same level of professionalism as he did. A great storyteller to. Legend.
