I agree with all the performers who get pissed when reporters ask about it being “fake”, any person with a IQ over 50 knows wrestling is a predetermined event. To ask the same question idiot reporters were asking forty years ago just shows how unintelligent those reporters are.
It's not just unintelligent, it's disrespectful. Telling anyone that what they do for a living is fake implies that it's easy and something anyone can do.

Can’t stand some of these smug TV guys that are protected on camera which enables them to give it the big talk. In a normal environment they’d not be so confident. The best thing that happened from Punks departure from AEW. We got our long awaited WWE return. Also like Goldust said. AEW is full ok kids (young talent) it’s hard to work with so many immature people and try to put out a consistent product. Cody said WWE main roster right now is talent over the age of 30 and know the business. You can see the difference big time.

wrestlers are such overgrown children. if they cannot control themselves and conduct themselves in an adult manner they should face the full consequences. those who resorted to assaulting interviewers shows they have no argument and resort to tactics which makes them look like the loser - both in the interview, and in court. there should be armed security guards when these idiots come on, or a UFC fighter to show them real fighting if they start to act tough. wrestling is fake. thats common public knowledge for decades. grow up and deal with it.

I think those that prefer to say wrestling is 'predetermined' as opposed to 'fake' are disingenious. Understandable 40 years ago when kayfabe was a thing, but these days it is openly acknowledged to be performative and not a real fight or competiiton. 'Predetermined' suggests a real fight is going on that, at some point, one of the fighters throws and deliberately loses, which isnt accurate. Fake is crude but accurate if used to mean that the wrestling moves themselves are designed not to injure, that the wrestlers are working together not against each other, etc., which is what everyone means by 'fake'. But wrestlers understandably consider 'fake' to be disrespectful given that pro wrestling is real in the context of what pro wrestling is (a performative, but dangerous and physically taxing activity). 'Performative' is a better word than predetermined.
Why did Randy slap that long-haired kid? Lol, I remember watching and not knowing why he did that when it came out. I thought it was because he didn't like the way he looked and / or thought he looked like a hippy at the time.
