    I know that I’m commenting on an old video but using that barrel brush is brilliant. I’m no detailing expert but I like to keep my vehicles tidy. I will be ordering myself a set of brushes as soon as I finish this vide. You have earned yourself a new subscriber! Have a good one!

    That vinyl and rubber care is actually really good for door/boot seals! Cheap enough to buy as well so you’re never scared of being too liberal with it.

    Definitely want to see the follow up on this V40 getting a clean!
    Have to agree with you about AG V&R Care, it's the perfect consistency. I find myself using it even though I have doubts about its durability just because it's so easy to use. Great tip about letting it soak in though, I'll have to try that next time I clean my bay. Great video.

    Sad to see the old intro being replaced, as I loved the bass tone in that... but I can surely get used to the new one, too! Short and crispy. I like it. Some channels have a way too long of an intro. This is much better.

    Great video really useful to see how you approach an older more exposed engine. One thing I noticed and I see at least one other picked up on - it's much safer to disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, as you're isolating the bodywork.

    as always, great video, I like how you produce the videos, some music but I hardly notice its even playing till its stops and you start talking again, a really good balance between narration and subtle music and hearing the pressure washing sounds is always my favorite part.

    Weird that people complain about used wash water getting into the ground. That's what you want. Unless its pure oil the ground will slowly absorb and filter the water. Rain will speed up the process. In the US most cities encourage people to divert wash water to the ground, away from storm systems.

    Brilliant video as always dude! That bay came up a treat. Do love me a V40... especially T4 flavoured. The diesel is a strong performer too though! I'd love to see a detailed going over of the exterior as well.
    You cover some stunning cars but sometimes it's more satisfying seeing an old workhorse get the superstar treatment.
    I'll have to wash the bay down on the Megane mk2 estate I recently acquired for my up and coming pool business a good detailing, it's overall tidy and complete but filthy and neglected (the car, not the business!) I'll be trying the Autoglym products used here, I've been using the resin polish and body wash for years now and always rated it.

    using soft water is particularly practical in such scenario. on paint, it prevents unsightly water spots but in conjunction with electricals, it also prevents shortening circuits. yes, I do speak out of experience (unfortunately, lol).

  • @beefcakeandgravy
    @beefcakeandgravy 3 года назад

    What would you recommend for getting rid of heavy deposits on the roof of my van?
    I clean it (the van) regularly but am quite lazy (and short) so the roof just usually gets a spray over and a swoosh with a soft soapy brush.
    I got on a ladder the other day and there's what I can only describe as lichen spots growing on it, which scrubbing doesn't remove completely and leaves brown polka-dot patterns on the white roof! I've tried an all purpose cleaner spray but I don't want to try anything particularly aggressive as I'm worried I might damage the paint!
    Might be a good video idea if you have a mate with a manky van as you don't seem to do much commercial vehicle cleaning (or at least don't feature them in videos), maybe an idea to expand your audience!

      Most modern cars are pretty well covered with the plastics so as long as you approach it with a bit of common sense and a few bags and a roll of tape to cover any sensitive bits, you’ll be grand. Some cars don’t have undertrays so the engines are designed to withstand water. That’s my understanding of it anyway.
