Great suggestion!
Looks like he used the whole can of that black on black. 🥴
"Great suggestion," yet doesn't bother to answer it here either knowing people read comments. Pure geniuses over there.
@@dominicfrost8627 they have almost 800k subs while you have 2. I'd say they're father ahead than you

Great Video Nick! By Any Chance Would You Guys Be Able To Demonstrate How To Clean A Engine Bay That Maybe More Dirty? Or Any Recommendations?
Hi Abel! Absolutely, great suggestion!!
look up chrisfix has a video on how to clean a engine bay in a lot of detail
What would be different just use an engine degreaser
Well for one I have a 2000 Toyota Camry LE that was given to me by my cousin it was his father's Camry. Back then they didn't make that plastic cover that's over the engine. I call it the engines beauty cover. The Nonsense has really turned the engine bay around. I like this product alot. Got this product at Walmart in my town. I will set a routine to keep the engine and engine bay clean using this product. I can't use water because of wiring going everywhere. So this product is prefect for the cleaning. Thanks much for this product it has been a lifesaver.
😃 Gotta love Nonsense!!
@@ChemicalGuys Have a question for you. After I clean the engine block with the Nonsense with a detailing brush how do I clean the oil out of the detailing brush? What I do is spray the product on a auto paper towel and clean that way. I don't want to ruin my detailing brushes by getting motor oil on them. So this is why I'm asking.
@@williamclick9771 better to use a detailing brush only for the engine bay. You can wash it with water and maybe a bit of soap to get rid of the oils or grease
ive been watching your videos for a few days now trying to find the best combination of products for what i was looking to do myself. This is the 3rd video that ive watched that you use the nonsense cleaner, youll be glad to know that this was one of MANY products that i purchased yesterday
Hey Andrew! You're going to love Nonsense!!
so awesome to see more of nick in vids! the real OG for chem guys!
😃 Thanks so much for tuning in!!
Great instructions so we won't mess up OG Nick !!!

Hey guys! Thanks for the video! I've been using your products for a good while now and must say I am extremely happy with how they clean. My only complaint is in your videos, and it has nothing to do with the products. I have just noticed in your guy's videos that when it comes to the talking portions, I have to crank up my volume. Then when the little montages come the music destroys my ears. Was just hoping you guys could look into that and maybe just level it out a bit. Again thanks for creating some great products!
Thanks so much for your feedback!
Hello Chemical Guys, I have watched many videos on engine bay cleaning products from different manufactures and I was impressed with your products the most. The problem for me is choosing which one of your cleaning products would be best for my application because the application on some of your cleaning products seem so similar , For instance the difference between your Nonsense cleaner and your All Clean + cleaner, I have seen both used in some of your engine bay videos. In these videos your explanation of what thee products are used for sound similar . I have a 92 Blazer in pretty good shape and I want to clean the engine bay . This older vehicles do not have as many plastic parts as the newer vehicles and have many more metal components, especially on an old school 350 motor , it is not terribly full of grease , however I think I would need the more aggressive of these two products, Which would be best to use for me? Also the same problem of deciding which product to use occurs with your Black on Black and VRP Vinyl Plastic Rubber products, which is best for my application, I figure there must be some differences or else why keep both products, just upgrade the one you had and then get rid of the old one. I may be one of the few having this problem, maybe not, I am not sure. One last question with the dressings to brighten up the engine compartment once it is clean can you use them on metal such as anodized aluminum valve covers? As I have already pointed out, these older vehicles have much less plastic in the engine compartment then the newer ones.
Hi Peter! Thanks so much for your message. All Clean with an aerosol dressing sounds like a great combination for your needs. Check out this video.

Question for Chemical Guys or anyone else who would know.
Could I just spray down the engine bay and components with the Nonsense spray, then brush it down to remove any dirt, then rinse it off with a water hose? Then use a leaf blower or shop vac blower to remove excess water?
Just curious if this would be a decent and quicker way of cleaning a not so dirty engine bay.
Cheers, thanks!
Nonsense is the best ....I need to get more lol
Gotta love Nonsense!!
That's exactly what I need for my vett
Happy detailing!!
So i have the apc and i didn't know u can clean the engine without spraying it if its a newer truck/car
I have the black on black I've mostly been using for my tires it works amazing. Would I be able to use this on my floor mats or no?
Hey! Use a water-based dressing such as VRP for floor mats.
Great vid! When’s the best time to clean the engine bay? Before or after a car wash?
Hey! Tackle the engine bay before washing the body of the vehicle.
Great video thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hey I love your guy’s videos! They are very helpful and informative! My question is I just brought a new car and I want to maintain the interior as well as the exterior! What products should I start with to clean and protect the inside as well as the outside? Thanks!
Hi Jonathan! Check out these kits for the essentials of detailing.

Glad you enjoyed the video!!
Do you have any foaming type of cleaner for engines that's safe for all the electrical stuff,?
Does this process work on older cars aswell? Old cars doesn’t have the plastic protection for most of the parts as this vehicle has 🤔 would be nice to see something like this done with an older car 😊👍🏻
Absolutely! The same products and process can be used for older vehicles as well.
Thanks I’ve never thought of diluting nonsense before
Hi Shane, happy detailing!!

Amazing work
😀😀
First you guys rock use your products and they are awesome.
I have a new car and I love to clean it.id like to use the ceramic coating on it but if I wash it will that remove what I out on the week before?
Hey William! Thanks so much for tuning in. Washing your vehicle won't remove coatings such as ceramic. Clean Slate has the power to remove old coats of glaze, sealant and wax.
Great video. I love the look of a clean engine bay.
I am curious to know if chemical guys have a really good product for bringing the perfect shine back to Gel Coat on a motorhome. I have used a good number of your products with your dual action polisher and it still has a milky look to it.
Hey Derrick! If you haven't done so already, try using a compound such as V34 to restore shine.
Can I spray the nonsense on and hose it down with a pressure washer and then dry it with a microfiber towel/ air dryer?
I might be wrong but you guys really need to get windshield washer fluid line!!!
Great suggestion!
@@ChemicalGuys and have it smell like barebones
You got anything to wipe off the Jeep badge? 😜
😄😄
Does the car have to be running while cleaning understand the hood?
Hi there! It is best to detail the engine bay while the engine is not running and is cool to the touch.
Hey is the product you use safe to use of the electrical and sensitive equipment in the engine bay?
Absolutely!
Just Wondering What Dilution Ratio Did you use for The Nonsense Cleaner?..
Hi there! Nonsense can be used safely at full-strength or diluted as desired. Use a dilution of 10:1 for most tasks.
I have a truck with the rubber floor instead of carpet. What can I use to clean, then protect, and make it look good without being slippery? Also I have black step bars any way to make them look good without making them slippery?
Hey Kenny! Check out Mat ReNew to clean and protect vinyl, rubber and plastic floors. I recommend using Nonsense All Purpose Cleaner before applying VRP to your side steps.
@@ChemicalGuys Thanks I have all three already. I just haven't tried them yet.
Can I use black on black on my WeatherTech floor mats? Or will they end up slippery and oily?
Can you clean or wash the microfiber towels? Or are they garage after one use? And how about washing the brushes and stuff?
Hey! Check out this video for microfiber care.

What happens if you rinse it? Can cause big problems?
Hey Bryan! It is perfectly fine to rinse away Nonsense but be sure to avoid heavily saturating the engine bay and thoroughly dry afterwards.
does it going to affect the engine?
Hi James! Black On Black is engine bay safe.
Would VRP be safe to use on the cover and other plastics?
Yes! It is completely safe to use VRP as well.
Can I use VRP to dress the engine?
Absolutely
You'll love the look you can achieve with VRP!!
Black on black all day #1
Enjoy your detailing products!!
what if an alternator is exposed whats a tip
Hi Chris! Simple wrap a bag around sensitive equipment.
Do you really have to soak it ?
Hi Ricky! Mist the area with Nonsense and allow a few moments for it to dwell before wiping off spent product.
Do it right, and remove the engine cover.
Thanks so much for your feedback!
