so i want to just mention and point out a few things ive noticed watching for some time now.... 1. you are great at what you detail in every video - no questions, 2. your asmr style of video are amazing - no chat, and also the once with a lil conversation 3. you are always personally looking great - attention to self care. the hair and pompadour (spot on) and your white shoes ( ALWAYS white!) how do you keep clean when you are detailing ? never see any back-splashing or dirt marks on your clothes and shoes.... so curious how you keeping them so white? lol Fantastic detailer by far! enjoy everyone video you post, typically the foam cannon parts are the best, and wheel cleaning
My Rupes 15MKII died last month, so i gave you a call and convinced me to buy the Liquid Elements T4000 V2. I can already say it's as good as the Rupes, a little bit more noisy but you told me that on the phone. Hi, I'm writing from Italy and I've been your follower for at least a year. Since I have been able to wash my car at home I have been following your steps and products and therefore your videos are a source of inspiration. If I didn't live so far away I would bring you my car to give it a full treatment. This comment is positive and I would just like to point out that for the quality of the work you do and the quantity of cars you treat you should publish at least two videos a week. Keep it up!
Great video on engine bay, I have washed mine once and I was nervous at first, I felt more confident as I knew what parts to avoid and how to safely approach the pre-wash especially with the pressure washer but I did avoid aiming at one part, I just kept a safe distance and kept on moving.

I think it is better to remove the lower engine compartment cover, I always do that. :) Because it can soak all of the dirty water and in worst case it can break down from the weight.

What is the first GLACO product you used...and then rinsed off?! I have the 2nd product. I bought it after seeing you use it a few weeks ago. It's AMAZING.
Nice.....I need to do a similar clean on my wife's Volvo V60. I don't think the engine bay has been touched in it's 80k mile life.....and certainly not in the 2 years we've owned it!
Nice video! I learned again with your video😁. Just a quick question, do i need to remove the battery and cover the alternator even if it’s below the engine before doing an engine wash? Thanks!
in modern cars (anything built in the last 20 years) the engine bays are designed to get wet, the only thing you need to worry about is getting the alternator too wet, you can cover it with a plastic bag if you are worried but even if you dont just let it airdry for an hour or two is enough
Hi, I am struggling with my convertible roof. Mould spots have turned white . Cleaned it 8 times today. Marks won't go. Can anyone recommend what to use? Please
Cleaning your car's engine bay can help maintain its appearance and prevent issues caused by dirt and grime. Here are some tips for safely and effectively cleaning your car engine bay: ### **1. Preparation** - **Cool the Engine:** Ensure the engine is completely cool before cleaning to avoid burns and damage. - **Remove Loose Debris:** Use a brush or compressed air to remove leaves, twigs, and other debris. - **Cover Sensitive Components:** Use plastic bags to cover the alternator, battery terminals, exposed wiring, and air intake. ### **2. Cleaning Materials** - **Degreaser:** Choose a non-corrosive, automotive-safe degreaser. - **Brushes:** Use soft-bristle brushes for scrubbing. - **Microfiber Cloths:** Ideal for wiping down surfaces. - **Pressure Washer or Hose:** Use with caution to avoid damaging electrical components. ### **3. Cleaning Process** - **Apply Degreaser:** Spray the degreaser on the engine and let it sit for a few minutes to break down grease and grime. - **Scrub:** Use a soft-bristle brush to scrub away dirt, focusing on heavily soiled areas. - **Rinse:** Gently rinse the engine bay with a low-pressure stream of water. Avoid directing water at electrical components. - **Dry:** Use microfiber cloths to dry the engine bay thoroughly. Remove plastic covers and allow the engine to air dry if necessary. ### **4. Final Touches** - **Detailing Spray:** Apply an engine bay dressing to restore the shine and protect surfaces from future dirt buildup. - **Check for Leaks:** After cleaning, inspect the engine for any signs of leaks or damage. ### **5. Safety Tips** - **Avoid High Pressure:** High-pressure water can damage sensitive components and force water into places it shouldn't be. - **Be Cautious with Electrical Components:** Avoid soaking electrical parts and connectors to prevent short circuits. - **Regular Cleaning:** Clean the engine bay every few months to maintain cleanliness and prevent buildup. ### **Additional Tips** - **Test on a Small Area First:** If you're unsure about a cleaner's effect, test it on a small, inconspicuous area. - **Use a Leaf Blower:** A leaf blower can help dry the engine bay more thoroughly and quickly. - **Consult the Manual:** Check your vehicle's manual for any specific cleaning recommendations or warnings. Regular cleaning can help extend the life of your engine and keep it looking good. Always prioritize safety and care when working on your car.
So what to look out for, I have a brand new Hyundai i20, when I open the hood a lot of items are exposed, looks like it could not be hit by water, but is it safe?
I’m a rinseless gal. I cleaned my engine bay only once while freaking out in my head. Used only towels and brushes. Now that I have MP the results should only be better.
I appreciate your support, but unfortunately I can’t do that mate. If you’re worried about anything, just cover it up. If there is an exposed filter or air intake or anything else, just wrap it in plastic. You don’t need to worry about anything else
The engine bay is not seen often. However, a clean engine bay is always nice to see.
Especially when you work on your own car, makes things a lot easier to work with
@Danielxperez14 yup, the less grease, oil, and dust buildup, the better.

Another video coming handy as I need to detail my recently bought BMW E87's engine bay.
The BMW wash was excellent and with complete details, thank you🎉
Hey.... do you unplug the battery before cleaning the engine bay???
U don't need to do that. Just don't dry drown it. If u use common sense, u will be a okay ,I'm not trying to offend you, BTW.
Just put plastic bag especially the altenator and fuse box as well
Great little clean of that engine bay! And bonus exterior cleaning. Well done sir!
I use a similar process, works every time. Also, gotta love a green 3-Series wagon!

You did not remove the battery? Is it Okay to wash it without removing the battery?
The battery is inside the trunk space, not under the hood.

I would have air blow the engine for a faster and better drying just be on a safe side everything else is great
